[Empress’s Poison Apple (Purple): An ordinary poison apple, assimilated at the core of the mighty empire’s national fortune, but tainted with an aura of death, underwent some influence, taking root and sprouting, with its level and quality undergoing some changes.]

Empress’s poison apple?

Seeing the information pop up before him, Gu Xi couldn’t help but immediately think of the Black Queen who once gave him a drop of the True Queen’s Blood.

Perhaps while not knowing the use of this Empress’s poison apple, he might contact that Black Queen to ask if she wants this item.

With this thought, just as Gu Xi was about to keep the poison apple, his hand suddenly paused.

Gu Xi remembered the chaos this poison apple had caused in Yalidu City, and now he certainly couldn’t take it back.

At the very least, before resolving the Great Monarch’s vigilance, Gu Xi couldn’t take this poison apple back.

Thinking briefly, Gu Xi took the poison apple and entered the small mansion in the back garden.

Although he hadn’t stayed here for a few days yet, the layout of the Sky Garden 1 at 1001 was something Gu Xi already knew well upon moving in.

Besides providing lodging for Gu Xi, the small mansion also has a special secret warehouse for storing various weapons and tools.

Inside, equipment and tools of purple quality can be stored. For players in Pei Xin City, almost everyone owns a piece of purple armor. If it weren’t for the negative effects of purple armor being too severe, everyone might own several pieces.

Generally, no one would steal someone else’s purple armor.

Storing unused purple armor at home is also the choice made by most players.

The poison apple in front of him seems special, but however special, it’s still just of purple quality.

Storing it here typically won’t lead to theft.

After hiding the poison apple, Gu Xi checked the surrounding security situation, and then, holding the Illusion Magic Wand, entered the horizontally openable school gate.

Upon returning to Yalidu City, Gu Xi saw a peculiar light shield covering the city.

It was this very light shield that blocked most of the external prying eyes.

However, Gu Xi quickly noticed that a large number of lightning bolts were gathering near the eyes. They couldn’t see the location of Yalidu City but could infer its position through a wide-range attack.

It seems the apple indeed caught their attention.

The next time I bring something in, I’ll have to be more cautious and not attract unnecessary enemies.

”Luna!”

Gu Xi raised his left hand. A special mirror in Gu Xi’s hand shone, and Luna quickly contacted Gu Xi.

”What’s the current situation? Has the number of enemies been confirmed?”

”Shaya has gone to confirm the enemy situation. From the current scene, the enemy has only discovered the existence of the Main City District and not the other periods of Yalidu City.

Once the enemy’s position is confirmed, we can take the initiative to engage them outside Yalidu City.”

Among Gu Xi’s subordinates, Luna is actually the most concerned about the safety of Yalidu City, particularly as an elf of Yalidu City. If the city were gone, she might be too.

”Start mobilizing troops from the other periods, hasn’t Eldest Princess Anna’s council begun operating?

What about the newly arrived undead? Have they started reorganization?”

Gu Xi also thought of fighting the enemy outside the city, but it depends on the situation.

If the enemy’s strength is too strong, Gu Xi wouldn’t mind dragging them to the city gate for battle.

After all, in Gu Xi’s main city here, the city walls and moat were already set up.

Luna wasn’t able to answer Gu Xi’s questions for the time being.

Just blocking those eyes in the sky was taking most of Luna’s energy.

Not in Pei Xin City with Gu Xi, Eldest Princess Anna was also arranging the troops.

Eve simply didn’t participate in the battle, and Luna wished she could split into two.

Even a response was already quite remarkable.

”Reorganization has already begun, but this time the troops coming out of the dungeon through Double Death vary in level, from 6 to 8. They don’t have suitable weapons and equipment.

These items are undergoing final supplementation.

Fortunately, Lord Blood took over this matter, or I would’ve had a headache over their weapons and equipment.”

As Luna spoke, Gu Xi recalled that he brought back a corpse of Anna.

Due to encountering this situation right after returning to Yalidu City, he hadn’t processed the corpse yet.

Compared to Lord of Mercury, who was transformed into an undead by Gu Xi before, this Anna was decisive and deadly in life.

Naturally, Gu Xi didn’t want to destroy her traits but rather wished to preserve them.

Thus, Gu Xi had a solution in mind.

The best way to retain an undead’s personality from life is to forsake the body and focus entirely on enhancing the soul.

Gu Xi had performed such operations previously.

It involves abandoning the current body and transforming it into a ghost.

Gu Xi thought for a moment and then began gathering the materials he needed.

However, this time Eve didn’t have the opportunity to help Gu Xi research the materials.

Also, when Gu Xi’s commands were relayed, it slowed down quite a bit.

Not due to reduced authority, but simply because there weren’t enough hands to handle Gu Xi’s orders.

Still, Gu Xi didn’t need to send everything to the Magic Plant District this time, knowing what he needed for the corpse.

For this reason, even if the orders were slower to transmit,

they were still completed with guaranteed quality and quantity.

When Gu Xi arrived at the Magic Plant District, several items he needed had been sent over.

These items analyzed by Eve during the previous undead transformation of Anna’s corpse were part of the accumulation between Yalidu City and Gu Xi over this time.

Among them, the pea-like item placed on top was one of the few peas produced weekly by the Library.

Because of the peculiar traits of the peas, Gu Xi just had them cataloged and didn’t intend to take them out.

Instead, he’s planning to use them where they’re most needed.

Just like this instance, the pea Gu Xi took out happened to be exactly what he wanted.
