Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 861: Chapter 859: Rest for Two Hours (Bonus Update, Please Subscribe)

Looking at Eldest Princess Anna’s reaction, Gu Xi knew that this equipment did not catch her eye.

As for Gu Xi, he also had no intention of using this purple armor for the time being.

It’s not that he can’t afford it, but it lacks cost-effectiveness.

This spine obviously is a late-game weapon; it’s nothing much when you first get it. Only after experiencing many battles and integrating it with other people’s spines does its attack power gradually enhance.

But since Gu Xi himself doesn’t engage in close combat, and the Death Incarnation would return while fighting, his Contracted Undead might not even withstand such negative effects.

So, this item was ultimately left unused, unable to find someone to wield it.

Gu Xi is considering if there’s a chance to exchange it for another piece of purple armor or find another way to arrange it.

After putting away the spine, Gu Xi didn’t forget to perform summoning on the corpse of Alexander into an Undead.

However, this time he wasn’t as lucky as before; Alexander’s body was incomplete, and the summoning only resulted in an 8th-level Ghost.

It looked no different from an ordinary Ghost.

Gu Xi merely glanced at it and then sent it to the back ranks.

At this moment, Commander Lin and Robbie outside had already received the message and were headed for the newly opened underground passage ahead of time.

With their movement, Gu Xi also turned to look at Eldest Princess Anna, ”There’s still one internal mission not received, and neither external nor exclusive missions have a clue.”

Eldest Princess Anna understood the meaning in Gu Xi’s words.

”I’ve already prepared on my side, and when we enter the underground passage later, some will rush in, and you can slow down your pace, don’t worry about them.”

Gu Xi understood what Eldest Princess Anna meant.

This was to kill with borrowed knives.

But will this really yield the Evil Artifact Dagger?

”Rest assured, this thing is so important, I won’t fool around. As for the mission, we’ll do what we can now, if not, we’ll come again next time.

Next time we’ll start with the Tail King, then we can find someone to accept the mission before entering the dungeon.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi nodded.

Gu Xi actually already knew about the situation with the Tail King, in his eyes, the Tail King was already a corpse.

Gu Xi has already begun planning for the next dungeon journey in advance.

For Gu Xi’s advance planning, Eldest Princess Anna not only didn’t find it inappropriate, she even collaborated and communicated in agreement, checking places where dungeon missions might appear.

After all, they had fought all the way through the dungeon.

Surely many details were missed.

If Gu Xi hadn’t been in such a hurry to break through earlier, perhaps he could have found mission clues.

But given the current situation, that might not be possible now.

Gu Xi walked out from Westminster Cathedral’s courtyard, glanced at the transforming apple tree, and shook his head.

The time is a bit tight now.

Gu Xi had just walked a few steps when Eldest Princess Anna took a step back and disappeared into the shadows.

Gu Xi’s heart moved, and he looked up in the direction of the front hall.

He noticed the various British forces were quickly heading toward the back of Westminster Cathedral.

Leading them was Anna from the dungeon.

At this moment, Anna had a confident smile on her face.

You could tell she was in quite a good mood.

It’s understandable; they originally thought they were in for a massive battle, risking losing more than half their forces, perhaps even facing failure.

But within less than a day, the first four bosses were all taken out by Gu Xi.

Next, facing only the Tail King, the situation could soon be wrapped up.

Although they didn’t realize they were dealing with a dungeon, such smooth battle results undoubtedly delighted the leaders of the various factions.

Now each of them was elated, thinking the battle could soon be over and they could safely handle everything at Westminster Cathedral.

Even the Grand Knight and dungeon Anna shared this sentiment.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, they even nodded to him.

Seeing these troops rushing over, Gu Xi also smiled at them while pointing to the newly opened passage behind.

”My vanguard forces have already gone ahead; the remaining troops need to rest here for about two hours before setting off, that path leads underground.

If you’re willing, you can go ahead first; if not, you can stay nearby to guard against any tricks from the Cultists.”

Gu Xi explained his situation.

He estimated the two hours himself.

This time would allow the Tail King’s strength to increase somewhat, but not to an overpowering level.

Meanwhile, two hours would enable Gu Xi to find more clues about the dungeon missions.

Not to mention, he at least needed to take on the dungeon mission.

Just like the Blood-Colored Mysterious Fruit mission he missed last time, he now sent Evilizer Sen to deal with it.

If this time they still couldn’t gather enough of the mysterious fruit, then next time entering the dungeon, they could bring the mission and arrange manpower to handle it.

Gu Xi now had this mindset, to first take on the mission.

As for why he needed two hours, most of Gu Xi’s attention was focused on the exclusive mission.

After all, he had completed three internal missions already, with only one uncompleted and one unactivated.

Activating a mission didn’t really require two hours; finding the right person and saying a few words would suffice.

Rather, the exclusive mission left Gu Xi without a clue.

Even Eldest Princess Anna wasn’t sure what counted as part of the exclusive mission amidst Westminster Cathedral’s major events.

For Gu Xi’s request for a rest, dungeon Anna and the other leaders didn’t have much to say.

What’s a two-hour period?

When Anna first entered Westminster Cathedral, she was ready to fight desperately to hold the enemies for three days.

Now the enemies were about to be defeated, yet only about a day had passed.

Two hours to Anna and the others seemed insignificant.

Anna certainly wouldn’t hinder Gu Xi in this regard.

Instead, she nodded to Gu Xi and led the British leaders into the passage leading under Westminster Cathedral.

Anna was thinking, they had to deal with the Tail King before Gu Xi; otherwise, their face would be much diminished if they played through the dungeon without achieving anything even after completing Westminster Cathedral’s major events.
