Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 889: Chapter 887: Battle Review (Bonus Chapter)

After exiting the dungeon, Gu Xi immediately sat down on the ground.

He recalled the battle, reviewing the shortcomings of this fight.

But after remembering repeatedly, Gu Xi discovered that most of the losses were caused by Anna, apart from being seriously disadvantaged by that knight.

Reflecting on how Anna was able to make a decision right away, Gu Xi realized she’s someone with judgment.

”Eldest Princess Anna, it seems that this quality here is quite decent, at least she’s got brains.”

”Indeed, I didn’t expect her to react faster than me, she seems decisive.

With this, you’d better not change her personality, just enhance her physique.”

Listening to these words, Gu Xi nodded, ”Yes, create her then, have her oversee the new zone’s development.”

”That’s possible, but after this, we shouldn’t rush back into the dungeon.”

Eldest Princess Anna advised, ”On one hand, we’ve already gathered enough Evil Artifact Dagger.

Next time, whether we want to or not, we’ll activate the group dungeon.

Then the enemies we face in the group dungeon won’t be the same as this time.

On the other hand, the knight has already noticed us.

Next time we go, we’ll likely come under special attention.

The knight is relatively reasonable, if I intervene and if we don’t excessively damage the Apple Tree, he won’t make a move on us.

But the knight targeting us also means my grand aunt will notice us.

If she awakens, we’ll be in trouble.

You don’t know my grand aunt; she never considers family matters, only the power transitions of the British Royal Family in her eyes.

Anything detrimental to Britain is her enemy.

This time you leveled up by one mainly to deal with the knight, but that’s partly because he went easy on you.

Meeting my grand aunt won’t be as simple.

If she dislikes something, she directly deals with it.

Although we can be cautious, starting the group dungeon will surely draw my grand aunt’s attention.

If we align with Britain’s core interests, that’s fine; otherwise, she’ll even attack us.

I suspect the Anna we killed in the dungeon has past historical entries of being raised by my grand aunt.

If you want to enter the dungeon, please reach Level 10 first.

Alternatively, we can take over the entire Yalidu City first, wait until heroes and troops are well-prepared.”

Gu Xi understood that Eldest Princess Anna’s proposal was on point.

This time, before completely taking over Yalidu City, he entered the Westminster Cathedral event twice in a row to gather Undead Corps and Heroes for preparing the battle over Yalidu City wasn’t just for nothing.

Now there are enough heroes, so the focus will naturally shift to Yalidu City.

Because Gu Xi wiped out everyone in the Westminster Cathedral event dungeon, he acquired plenty of corpses.

Initially in the dungeon, Gu Xi used Soul Summoning Skill to summon three heroes, plus through Double Death transformation, he got six heroes in total who were still in Yalidu City.

Lastly, Gu Xi eradicated everyone in the Westminster Cathedral event dungeon, leaving a heap of unprocessed corpses.

Now all those corpses have been sent back here.

If two more heroes emerge from these, it means Gu Xi harvested ten heroes on this dungeon excursion.

This greatly compensates for the hero shortage under Gu Xi’s command.

If handled well, Gu Xi even has confidence to simultaneously tackle two different periods of Yalidu City to expedite its conquest.

Just as Gu Xi was relaxing, his subordinates returned to inform him that the dungeon’s corpses were already sent to the base of the Soul Summoning Tower in Yalidu City’s main city, awaiting Gu Xi’s handling.

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi immediately stood up.

”Let’s go now, Eldest Princess Anna, join us. After this Soul Summoning, quickly assemble the troops; we immediately start the next phase.”

As Eldest Princess Anna responded, Shaya suddenly burst in.

”Sir, there’s a situation in Victoria City.”

Gu Xi widened his eyes, turning to look at Eldest Princess Anna.

Eldest Princess Anna was equally puzzled.

”What happened?”

Finally, Gu Xi asked.

”Unclear, it seems some news reached Victoria City, lowering your rank to Court Lord.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi rolled his eyes.

Seems the Westminster Cathedral event caused a big stir, where the dungeon affected the real world.

”Just ensure our interests are maintained in Victoria City, this time was an accident, next time it’ll go smoother.”

Eldest Princess Anna chimed in.

”Next dungeon might not go smooth. If possible, send Shaya to hide our forces in Victoria City.”

Listening to Eldest Princess Anna’s words, Gu Xi looked over somewhat puzzled.

”Did you find out something?”

”The last Victoria fire has almost burned Victoria City down, and I’ve heard about the coal slag situation.

This resembles a transformation for Victoria City.

The charred Victoria City needs rebuilding.”

At this point, nothing more needs to be said.

Gu Xi already understood the meaning behind Eldest Princess Anna’s words.

Gu Xi’s face slightly changed. ”Eldest Princess Anna, let’s return now; we need to occupy all current Yalidu City before any new ones appear.”

Right, Eldest Princess Anna’s casual remark just depicted the current scenario facing Gu Xi.

Victoria is being rebuilt.

In the Mirror Image Underground Palace, another new Yalidu City will emerge.

Gu Xi just arrived at this Mirror Image Underground Palace not long ago, only occupying three periods of Yalidu City.

Gu Xi isn’t certain what happens when the other temporal Yalidu Cities emerge.

But there’s one thing for sure, during Yalidu City’s construction, the Mirror Image Underground Palace and Victoria City will definitely create some connection.

And as Yalidu City’s mirror image side, it will be affected for sure.

This is Gu Xi’s opportunity and also his challenge.

Whether Gu Xi wants to tear Yalidu City out of the Mirror Image Underground Palace or dominate within it, just the current three periods of Yalidu City aren’t enough; Gu Xi needs more territory.
