”What happened? What’s all this about someone stealing apples?”

On the way out of Kai Yalidu City, Gu Xi still asked.

Eldest Princess Anna had an anxious expression on her face at this moment.

”We were quite careless, we didn’t expect that someone would steal the apples representing Britain’s fortune from great-aunt’s burial chamber.

Those apples had been in the burial chamber for years, and despite their great power, they have become tainted by great-aunt’s death qi, essentially becoming a part of the corpse.

So when soul summoning was performed, these apples were affected as well, and ended up being summoned.”

At this point, the Eldest Princess looked somewhat speechless, ”Among the Great Monarch’s subordinates, there is one specifically tasked with finding apples for him. Apples are fundamental to Britain and also the method the Great Monarch uses against the kings of Britain.

That recent event made it clear that the fact there are apples in Yalidu City can no longer be hidden.”

Eldest Princess Anna briefly explained, and Gu Xi understood the situation.

”How strong is that subordinate?”

”Level 20 or above, to be specifically sent out by the Great Monarch, Level 20 is the minimum standard.”

”That’s nothing, in our city we have a pack of hellhounds.

In the previous instance, we couldn’t unleash the hellhounds, but in our own city, we should be able to.

If they dare to come, we’ll let the dogs tear them apart.”

Upon hearing that the enemy was only Level 20 and above, Gu Xi breathed a sigh of relief.

At this moment, he regretted stopping his soul summoning skill halfway.

Not only had he wasted so many corpses, but also four potentials that might have become undead heroes.

”No, my lord, it’s not appropriate to do that now.”

Seeing Gu Xi’s nonchalant demeanor, Eldest Princess Anna advised, ”Level 20 is nothing, but we cannot provoke the Great Monarch now. If we do, we won’t be able to defend this place.”

It was then that Gu Xi recalled the situation at Evil Wood Lake.

Back then, Evil Wood Lake was left after cutting a tree-root-like tentacle from who-knows-where.

If we put it that way, it might have been the Great Monarch’s subordinate.

Thinking of this, Gu Xi’s expression grew serious.

”What should we do next?”

”Find the stolen apple and find a place to plant it. If possible, it’s best to destroy the apple or integrate it into equipment to enhance its quality.

As for the mutation occurring in Yalidu City, we need not worry.

Without finding the apple, that being might only fight for a while before retreating.

They don’t have the time or energy to keep their eyes on us all the time.

If we were stronger, we might even gain some benefits from them.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi understood what Eldest Princess Anna meant.

As Yalidu City was attacked, naturally, many enemies would come, and Gu Xi could acquire many corpses, even those above Level 10 and 15.

For Gu Xi, this would be a small recompense.

”I understand, I’ll handle things here; you go reinforce Yalidu City’s defenses. I’ll come find you once I’ve taken care of things.”

Eldest Princess Anna nodded to Gu Xi before leaping off the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

Gu Xi then dashed through the horizontally opening school gate and into Sky Garden Building 1001.

Sky Garden Building 1001, which originally had a Celestial Kingdom human style, had turned into a meat factory, with piles of flesh fragments scattered on the lawn, white bones mixed with corpse skin, transforming the area into a sea of blood upon a corpse mountain.

Seeing this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but frown.

Though an Undead Mage, Gu Xi wasn’t fond of such a style.

He quickly switched the virtual information and pointed his Illusion Magic Wand at the sea of blood upon the corpse mountain.

”Death Incarnation!”

Under Gu Xi’s command, Death Incarnation - Death God and Death Incarnation-Titan emerged in the dark mist.

Due to Gu Xi’s arrangements, these two death incarnations also had their specific areas where they usually stayed.

Especially Death Incarnation-Titan, which was arranged to reside in Cloud Hall within the Training Area.

Now as he emerged, different colored lightnings danced around him.

Clearly, he had learned a lot from his time at the unfinished Cloud Hall.

Once released, they gazed at the sea of blood upon the corpse mountain.

As minions summoned by Gu Xi’s spell, their coordination with Gu Xi far exceeded that with contracted undead.

Death Incarnation-Titan took a step forward, the ground rapidly drying and dying.

The sea of blood upon the corpse mountain quickly merged into the ground converted by Death Incarnation-Titan, leaving only some white broken bones at the original spot.

Meanwhile, Death Incarnation - Death God absorbed and guided the soul amalgamated mass, cleansing each soul with every swipe.

After replenishing the Ghost Realm Battlefield for them, Gu Xi no longer concerned himself with this matter. He swiftly headed for the center of the corpse mountain.

Eldest Princess Anna had made it clear, a moment ago an apple had escaped from here.

Although Gu Xi had avoided visiting the North Flower’s burial chamber for two instances, he clearly remembered the situation of the four apples seen in the secret chamber below that chamber.

Those four apples derived from various stories, all legendary items.

It was uncertain which apple the thief managed to escape with.

Since Eldest Princess Anna hadn’t explained thoroughly, Gu Xi didn’t know the purpose of these apples, nor the changes they’d undergo upon sprouting.

However, as long as he obtained the apple, everything would be manageable.

Such items, no matter how unique, would be recognized by someone.

Even if Gu Xi didn’t recognize it, beyond Sky Garden Building 1001, he still had friends from Pei Xin City Agricultural University willing to help.

They would certainly assist Gu Xi in analyzing this apple’s condition.

Soon Gu Xi found the apple, realizing due to his soul summoning skill, it had sprouted. However, he could recognize its origin as the half-red, half-green apple.

As Gu Xi approached, he could even see the newly sprouted bud, exhibiting both red and green sides, the red side full of life, while the green side exuded no death qi but rather intense poison.

Gu Xi hesitated momentarily, but eventually reached out and took the newly sprouted apple.

At that moment, a piece of information popped up in front of him.
