Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 877: Chapter 875: Revising Construction Plans

When Gu Xi said so, Luna paused for a moment. She looked down at the layout plan before her, hesitated a bit, then put it away and agreed.

”Alright!”

Then Luna took out a map of Yalidu City from that period and began drawing on it.

”To establish the Market District, besides the Demon Chaos Market, a few key elements must be done properly.

First is the roads. Whether it’s the Carriage Station, or the docks along the river route, or the formal routes via Yalidovi Tower, and potentially hidden routes in the Sewers, all must be laid out well.

After all, if we want the market to thrive, the most crucial issue is transportation. If transportation isn’t resolved, no matter how well we arrange the market, it won’t matter.

Next, we need adequate warehouses.

It’s impossible to have only one warehouse for a market. If we plan to arrange a market, every transportation point must have a warehouse for temporary storage.

There also needs to be a main warehouse and categorized warehouses to ensure materials can be called upon anytime.

Further, if we’re establishing a Market District, it can’t be limited to just one Demon Chaos Market. Other markets, including the Black Market, Treasure Market, and shopping streets, need to be set up too.

Without these, relying on one single market won’t allow us to build a Market District.

And, if we’re setting up places like the Black Market, these areas need to be reorganized.

The last thing the lord mentioned is to incorporate the Gate of the Underworld.

This is indeed a great idea; I’ve seen the situation with that Gate of the Underworld too.

When opened against us, it’s truly beneficial.

But here’s a problem: which Netherworld we can open to, we have no way of determining.

So, for the Gate of the Underworld part, we need to prepare more thoroughly.

Additionally, for supporting buildings, the market needs to have its distinct style, and this part needs adjustment too.”

As Luna spoke, she continuously drew on the layout plan, and Gu Xi managed to keep up with Luna’s thought process, quickly offering his views whenever he had his own opinions.

The three architectural designers played a significant role at this time.

Although they usually only contribute to drafting Architectural Design Plans and demolishing structures, Gu Xi had not expected that they could also contribute to city planning.

Whenever Luna proposed ideas, they always responded swiftly.

Of course, the most crucial point here is what should be constructed on the large plots of land during this period in Yalidu City.

The Demon Chaos Market only needs to occupy one large plot, while ordinary markets occupy the position of the core area.

Therefore, no matter how many markets Gu Xi builds, it will not significantly affect the large plots.

As for the Training Camps for troop types, they do occupy large plot usage, but Gu Xi currently has a dedicated Training Area, where all the troop type Training Camps, especially for the Undead, will be arranged.

Even in special situations where some camps need to be built in forests, they will follow the Magic Plant District, and those requiring underwater construction will move along with the river route, etc.

But the numbers won’t be too substantial.

With this arrangement, many large plots in this area will become available.

However, Gu Xi cannot move these large plots to the Training Area; he simply doesn’t have the ability.

Therefore, what to construct on the large plots becomes the most pressing consideration for Gu Xi now.

Of course, Luna is also considering this, in conjunction with the few architectural designers.

They kept discussing and quickly came up with some new ideas.

”Lord, you mentioned something like the Longgu Laboratory before, that is indeed excellent.

Do you still remember the set of Architectural Design Plans we obtained from the Lower World previously?

That’s a complete set of design plans for a tower, which includes, besides the Cloud Hall design, plans for reinforcing the Titan.

The concept is actually the same, the Death Incarnation-Titan enhancement follows the lightning path, so we could try to transform an area into a Thunder Laboratory. This is also feasible.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi nodded, but he immediately said, ”The Titan isn’t suitable to be placed here. Once the Gate of the Underworld is opened, all sorts of strange things will come, so it’s safer to place Death God here for security.

The Titan reinforcement plan can proceed, but it doesn’t have to be in this location.”

Gu Xi previously discussed placing one Death Incarnation per period, so the architectural designers are aware of this point, though they are unsure how Gu Xi intends to arrange the Death Incarnations.

Being told so by Gu Xi, they also think Gu Xi’s consideration makes sense.

Hence another architectural designer promptly suggested, ”Then let’s invite the Death Incarnation-Titan to the Training Area. We’re planning to build all seven Cloud Halls together there, forming a Lightning District.

Its Thunder Laboratory can be set there.”

”All seven Cloud Halls together? Does the Training Area have that many large plots?”

Gu Xi was startled by this plan.

Gu Xi had been to the Training Area before as well.

The Training Area isn’t particularly large, so how could there be so many large plots available?

At this moment, Luna explained from the side, ”Since the Training Area was decided, it has continuously expanded outward, with expansion also underway below the Sewers.

Some relocation work has already been completed, and new plots are supplementing them.

If there’s a shortage of plots, I’ll initially build in other areas of Yalidu City, then relocate after acquiring new plots.”

While speaking, Luna looked at Gu Xi.

Gu Xi understood; it was a reminder to procure some Land Titles and increase the plots he had.

”What zones does the Training Area currently have?”

”The confirmed zones in the Training Area now are the Ghost District and Puppet District.

The Ghost District is because we have a complete set of Ghost Architectural Design Plans, and thus used Ghosts to occupy an entire district.

The Puppet District mainly comes from training camps for tower-related Stone Golems, Stone Giants, and Puppet Dragons.

Although other zones are divided, the number of buildings is still insufficient.

For the originally planned White Bone District, it only has the White Bone Evil Temple, Evil Bone Temple, and Evil Church, which cannot occupy a fully-fledged district.

The Zombie District and Knight District are in similar situations, unable to completely fill a district with buildings, thus can only be temporarily arranged now.”

”What about the Skeleton Mage?”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask.

”The training camps for Skeleton Mage, Corpse Witch, Witch Demon, and other troop types will be arranged with the Mage Tower, placed in the Magic District. This part was agreed early on with Eve.”

Gu Xi couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing this.

”Eve is indeed quick on her feet.”
