Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 871: Chapter 869: The Fairy Dragon’s Collection

After entering the Magic Plant District, Gu Xi didn’t head straight to Evil Wood Lake but stopped at the Witch’s House.

At this time, the decorative witch at the Witch’s House window was still there. After all this time subjected to wind and sun, the upper half of the witch’s body seemed to become even more animated.

When Gu Xi came over, she would squeeze her hand towards the center before calling out.

”Guest, you’re here! Today we have medicine, want to try a bottle? Guaranteed satisfaction.”

”Guest, don’t leave! Come over and chat with us. Don’t just rush in every time you see me. Isn’t that boring? Why not have a chat before starting your tasks?

Hey, guest, guest...”

Gu Xi was a bit speechless. Clearly, when the Witch’s House was first built, it was fine. How did it become like this after a period of not seeing it?

Yalidu City is full of Undead. Where did this talk come from?

Gu Xi pushed open the Witch’s House door, preparing to go inside, when he heard a booming sound from inside, as if something had fallen over.

Gu Xi paused, looked inside, and saw a small purple dragon, about the size of a puppy, hiding under the cabinet, its tail adorned with a big pink bow.

???

What’s going on?

Did someone else come in here?

At this moment, Eve glanced at the situation in the room and softly said to Gu Xi: ”Master, this is a small dragon coaxed over from Dragon Valley. They usually hang out in the Magic Plant District when they have nothing to do.”

”So that’s what’s happening.”

Gu Xi realized, ”But why would they hang out in the Magic Plant District? Don’t they know there’s Blood Maple Tree planted here?

This thing can unknowingly turn them into Undead.

It’s really reckless.”

Gu Xi muttered while walking into the Witch’s House.

Due to the little dragon’s antics, all the cabinets inside the small house were overturned.

Gu Xi saw the floor scattered with herbs and eyeballs, along with some dried spider legs.

The most perplexing sight was a book thrown onto the ground.

Gu Xi picked up the book, shook it off, and opened it at first glance.

”Girl Ah Bing didn’t make it to high school? What kind of nonsensical book is this?”

Gu Xi tossed the book aside, grabbed the dragon by its tail, and dragged the little dragon out.

Gu Xi found that the little dragon in front of him was actually a juvenile Fairy Dragon. Its body was similar to normal Dragon Types except for having long eyelashes over its eyes.

When Gu Xi picked her up, she kept blinking, and the expression in her eyes clearly showed traits of the dragon.

Well then, Gu Xi already knew where the outside witch learned so many random things from.

Gu Xi held the Fairy Dragon by the tail, walked to the Witch’s House door, raised his hand, and was about to throw the Fairy Dragon out.

At this moment, the Fairy Dragon quickly shook its body, saying continuously, ”Master, put me down. I’m the mascot watching the store here. It’s beneficial for me to stay in the shop.”

”What’s beneficial?”

Gu Xi paused upon hearing that.

”With me in the shop, item pricing can increase by 50%.”

Gu Xi listened, feeling exasperated. What’s there to be proud of? Get out of here.

Seeing that Gu Xi was going to throw her out again, the Fairy Dragon quickly said, ”But the production chance of Dragon Type and Magic System items in the Witch’s House will increase by 200%, and their quality will greatly improve.”

Only then did Gu Xi release his hand and set down the Fairy Dragon.

”Dragon Scale counts as a Dragon Type item, and herbs can be considered Magic System items, so don’t brag about useless things. Show something practical.

Otherwise, I’ll just kill you and turn your body into a Dragon Lich.”

While speaking, the Book of the Box of Fate and Ghost Dragon Book rapidly appeared beside him.

As a Magic System giant dragon, even though still a small dragon, the Fairy Dragon knew what an Undead Mage’s level 10 Soul Summoning Skill needed to do.

The Book of the Box of Fate and Ghost Dragon Book together can indeed create a Dragon Lich.

”Please, I’m just a 108-year-old kid. I’m truly useful; I’ve always stayed in the Witch’s House and haven’t even tasted fish from outside.”

”Alright, shut up. What’s available today? Show it to me.”

”Master, there’s none today. All items in the Witch’s House get collected promptly at noon every day, regardless of price, all ... collected...”

Seeing Gu Xi’s eyes grow wider, the Fairy Dragon hastily said, ”I have some of my own collections, but Master, you definitely have to pay.”

”I got it. Show me what you’ve got.”

Unexpectedly, the Fairy Dragon added, ”You can only choose one item, you can’t take them all.”

”Fine, if you don’t bring them out, I’ll make soup with you.”

Gu Xi was annoyed by the Fairy Dragon.

Being yelled at by Gu Xi like this, the Fairy Dragon dared not delay further and quickly rummaged through various corners of the Witch’s House, revealing an assortment of materials.

Clearly, this Fairy Dragon understands being a thief in her own shop, hiding away her picks as items refresh each day.

In just a few days, she had already tucked away seven or eight good items here.

Although the Fairy Dragon kept shaking her head saying there’s no more, Gu Xi believed that perhaps more could surface with some pushing.

However, Gu Xi wasn’t too concerned now.

At this point, Gu Xi noticed two items among them.

One was a battle banner depicting a Black Dragon.

[Black Dragon Camp Battle Banner (Blue): A tactical battle banner bestowing troops organization rights to a hero, requiring naming as Black Dragon Camp. Once organized, troops equivalently align with a Level 7 or higher garrison.]

[Note: Black Dragon Camp doesn’t necessarily require a Black Dragon, just like ’wife cake’ doesn’t contain a wife.]

The other was a staff made of peach wood, with some engravings on it.

[Scepter of Serenity (Blue): A staff that calms one’s mood. Even under the sun, one won’t feel heated but rather peaceful.]

[Note: This is merely part of the Wooden Staff, with other portions seemingly burned away.]

Gu Xi fancied other items, but the Fairy Dragon guarded them fiercely. Whenever Gu Xi wanted them, the Fairy Dragon would immediately scream out.

”If you can manage, just cook me, as that’s the only two items; no more will be given.”

In the end, Gu Xi could only reluctantly pay and left the Witch’s House with these two items.
