Undead Mage from a Cell

”Is this situation common?”

Gu Xi finally asked a question, hoping that the training camp wasn’t built in other areas, which would make assembling troops difficult later on.

”Not common, on one hand the mage’s side follows Eve’s proposal, on the other he requires all magic-related corpses to be buried in the Magic District where they work for three years.

Even corpses are being used, so how could they spare these mages? Therefore, Eve had planned in advance.

Didn’t you notice that we haven’t built a Mage Tower in those buildings near the tower?

In the future, mages will be placed properly.

As for other aspects, there are only a few. I will find a way to coordinate everything to ensure the greatest connection between all training camps.”

”Will there be more large plots in other cities? Should we relocate the large plots?”

Upon hearing this, Luna also fell silent for a moment, as she truly didn’t possess the ability to move large plots.

Just then, an architect suddenly said, ”My lord, actually I have heard that when architecture reaches a certain level, the entire environment is affected.

Even similar buildings far away in other places can be affected by this influence.”

Luna, as the main controller of Yalidov City, naturally understood what this architect was referring to.

”You mean the Holy Sanctuary Plan, right? The current conditions in Yalidov City haven’t reached that level yet.”

Although Gu Xi was quite confused while listening, it was clear Luna understood the technology.

Despite not knowing what was missing here, Gu Xi still said, ”Luna, if the Holy Sanctuary Plan is feasible, then let’s go for it. Whatever is lacking, we’ll figure out how to add.

If we don’t have territory, we’ll fight for it. If we don’t have architectural design plans, we’ll steal them.

If it’s really impossible, we have the road leading to the real world; I refuse to believe there aren’t schools specialized in architecture there.”

With Gu Xi’s words, Luna explained to him the situation of the so-called Holy Sanctuary Plan.

The Holy Sanctuary Plan was somewhat like an assembly line, where other items could be built in different places and then assembled at the main factory.

This was a method unintentionally discovered by the architects from the architectural design plans in the tower.

In the Lower World, they successfully formed a Diamond Holy Sanctuary once.

According to the drawings’ instructions, they manufactured different parts of the Diamond Man in six different locations, and then sent them all to the manufacturing plant for assembly.

These six places were not located in the same city.

Instead, they were in different positions, and for this reason, each part received specialized enhancements, making the Diamond Man stronger than a regular Diamond Man, and the production speed significantly faster.

Of course, the tower had plans to use this method for the creation of Titans and Puppet Dragons.

But ultimately, they never materialized; the Titans they created looked like Titans but were ash-grey and slow-moving, lacking lightning.

They were of no use.

And even more so for Puppet Dragons, assembling them required at least three hundred different pieces.

At the time, where in the Lower World could they find three hundred cities?

Thus, their plan only reached the Diamond Man and then stopped, but their plan was recorded.

Eve knew this too, but Gu Xi had no use for it now.

After all, their plan targeted those that could be assembled for puppets and dolls.

Luna couldn’t dismantle the undead corpses into pieces for processing.

So she hadn’t thought of it from the start.

But the architect remembered this.

During the times when Gu Xi and Luna had no ideas, he suddenly suggested this.

After listening to Luna’s explanation, Gu Xi thought seriously for a moment, then said, ”Do some of Eve’s actions relate to the Holy Sanctuary Plan?”

Luna nodded; Eve’s plan of burying for three years was a method to strengthen the corpses, later allowing them to learn and participate in research, enhancing the possibility of converting them into Skeleton Mages and Corpse Witches.

This approach seems genuinely like thoughts from the Holy Sanctuary.

Because this way of thinking is feasible, Luna agreed to place various magical training camps in the Magic District.

Realizing this, Luna asked Gu Xi a question.

”My lord’s opinion?”

”We can turn this idea into a topic for Eve’s research. We just need to provide what we have and the outcome we want and see if Eve has any solutions.

If the Holy Sanctuary Plan is feasible, just move the magic training camps back to the Training Area. We have divided the areas with care; handle according to regions without doing anything special.”

Upon hearing this, Luna laughed.

”It seems in the upcoming times, the one needing clone methods will not be Shaya, but Eve.”

”No, Eve knows how to use her subordinates; she’s someone who uses her brain.”

Gu Xi laughed upon hearing this.

Luna had to just press this matter down.

This is merely an interlude; after cleaning out the enemies in Yalidov City and setting the development direction, Gu Xi turned his attention to the enemies preparing to siege outside.

This wave of enemies was triggered by the explosive ending of the Tail King stage in the dungeon.

The attacking enemies were all brought by the eerie of the apple trees, where the commonly seen Deceitful Shadows were quite scarce.

Most were similar to the half-man, half-tree minions released by Spore Cultist Charlie during the battle.

Due to this reason, Gu Xi’s subordinates could detect the enemies early and estimate their arrival time.

Now these eerie monsters are all held at a distance from Yalidov City by Amirka.

Their original arrival time was eight or nine hours, now extended to tens of hours; they won’t reach the city walls for two or three more days.

This gave Gu Xi an opportunity.

After confirming the construction plan for this period in Yalidov City, Gu Xi left behind all his possessions and led the troops out of Yalidov City into the wilderness outside.

Although this wasn’t Gu Xi’s first foray into the territory of the Mirror Image Space,

the situation before him was startling.

Originally, upon leaving Yalidov City, it was surrounded by various mists, the ground mostly grey and barren, without even a blade of grass.

But the current situation was different, with the ground covered in numerous vines.

As Gu Xi led the troops through, the vines spontaneously twisted, seemingly attempting to drag the undead underneath.
