Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 870: Chapter 868: Chaos in Yalidu City

”How is the lord?”

The Eldest Princess Anna glanced at the various materials scattered on the ground by Gu Xi and couldn’t help but ask.

”It’s alright, the harvest is quite good. By the way, what do you think we should do with this body? Should we directly summon it, or use the Undead Transformation Technique?”

Gu Xi swiftly changed the topic, pointing to Anna’s corpse on the ground.

”Let’s go with undead transformation. During this dungeon trip, I’ve been observing her; her level is adequate, but she hasn’t experienced certain things and is lacking in some aspects.

Transforming her into an undead shouldn’t be a problem, but I’m worried that the body brought out from the dungeon may inherently lack something, so it’s better to take it back for examination.

Even if it can’t be fully remedied, we should avoid any mistakes.”

”Okay, take this body with you, we’ll head back now.”

Gu Xi was also contemplating the recent tremor in Yalidu City.

Although he understood it was Spore Cultist Charlie who exploded in the Mirror Image Underground Palace,

he hadn’t seen the city’s final state and didn’t know the extent of the trouble caused by the explosion, so Gu Xi felt a bit anxious.

Thus, the Eldest Princess Anna dragged Anna’s corpse along, following Gu Xi, while he packed the materials that had just been scattered and, carrying his Illusion Magic Wand, they entered Yalidu City.

They entered Yalidu City via a horizontally folding school gate.

So when leaving, they were positioned near the Giant Garden.

Upon entering Yalidu City, Gu Xi saw cracks appear on the ground, with many undead organizing the collapsed houses due to the recent anti-corruption incident in the city.

Gu Xi also noticed something peculiar, as roots seemed to be moving beneath the cracks.

”Where is Luna now, what’s the situation?”

As soon as Gu Xi entered Yalidu City, he quickly released the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, heading towards the Assembly Hall, and simultaneously contacted Luna through a special mirror.

Before the Holy Silver Evil Coffin had moved far, Shaya appeared beside Gu Xi.

Even though the movement speed of the Holy Silver Evil Coffin had greatly increased, Shaya could easily keep up, speaking while moving.

”My Lord, Luna is over at the newly occupied area of Yalidu City.”

”What happened there?”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi adjusted his direction, heading towards the Yalidovi Tower.

”A big explosion happened near the mirror image of the Westminster Cathedral just now, and the apples tree mirrored there experienced some changes, leading to some strange siege-related occurrences.

The newly occupied Yalidu City has no city gates or walls, so Luna rushed over for repairs.”

”Is the situation quite severe now?”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask.

”It’s manageable, Amirka is still there, and Luna has already deployed a large force over.”

”That’s good. We’ll go there now. Also, Eldest Princess Anna, you should go to Yalidovi Tower, prepare for battle, and ensure that nothing goes wrong with the other two periods of Yalidu City.

Shaya, you are quite familiar with the intelligence on Yalidu, I’m giving you a task now.

I killed the Anna inside the big event of the Westminster Cathedral replica, and brought her corpse back with me.

Due to the effect of Double Death, there is certainly another undead version of her that has entered Yalidu City.

You go find her and bring her to Eldest Princess Anna, let the Eldest Princess Anna see what kind of situation the one transformed by Double Death is in, see if she is usable.”

As one of Gu Xi’s Contracted Undead, Shaya also knew what Gu Xi’s main goal was during this dungeon trip.

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s command, Shaya said, ”Don’t worry, my Lord, I’m most familiar with the Eldest Princess Anna, I’ll quickly find the undead version transformed.”

After assigning tasks, Gu Xi adjusted his direction again, heading towards the Magic Plant District.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi started releasing various owls, sending messages to the two warehouses under his command, requesting them to send the various materials collected over this period to the Magic Plant District.

These materials are primarily used for the purpose of undead transformation.

As Gu Xi hurried towards the Magic Plant District, Eve, having received the news, also rushed over.

Unlike Shaya, Eve, as a presence of the Magic System, did not have a particularly fast movement speed.

When she arrived, Gu Xi promptly pulled her onto the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

”You came at the right time, come over and help me see which of these materials are useful?”

”My Lord, are you planning to enhance some aspect with this undead transformation?”

Upon seeing the list of materials sent by Gu Xi, Eve immediately deduced what Gu Xi intended to do.

Therefore, she promptly asked the most crucial question.

”The corpse is here, the Eldest Princess Anna has gone to Yalidovi Tower, but based on my interaction with this person during the dungeon, she seems quite uncalm, overly arrogant in character.

She really falls far short when compared to our Eldest Princess Anna.

I brought her corpse back to arrange some assistance for the Eldest Princess Anna, instead of finding a person to lead her. I’m planning to make her more composed.”

”Then I understand, I’ll first see what we have.”

As Gu Xi finished outlining his plan, Eve immediately began to scrutinize the list in her hands.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi also took out the ’Taishan Prefect Secret Scroll,’ quickly flipping through it.

This time, Gu Xi had the idea to alter some of the consciousness and character of the corpse.

This aspect doesn’t fall under the scope of the Undead Transformation Technique or ritual, and Gu Xi hadn’t done it before.

After all, undead previously focused on compliance rather than personality.

Additionally, since this isn’t a transformation into Contracted Undead, and there are two other undead of the same identity in Yalidu City, Gu Xi needs to clarify these relationships.

Therefore, Gu Xi must consider these matters thoroughly.

For this reason, Gu Xi continued flipping through the Taishan Prefect Secret Scroll, hoping to find some successful cases from the past.

Soon, Gu Xi indeed found something different here.

So he left the movement to the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, reading and reviewing thoroughly himself.

During his reading, Gu Xi also conversed with Eve, asking whether certain materials existed and if there was anything that could be used as a substitute.

Eve was indeed capable in these aspects; as soon as Gu Xi asked, a response was swiftly provided.

As they entered the Magic Plant District, Gu Xi had already found the corresponding scheme, and all sorts of materials had also been delivered to the vicinity of the Magic Plant District.

Just waiting for Gu Xi’s arrival.
