Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 885: Chapter 883: Trade Point

The Mummy Leader returned once and managed to settle everything.

As higher-ups among the Mummies, they faced situations similar to those of Gu Xi; they always held some good things in their hands, but not necessarily what they wanted.

Don’t be fooled by the variety of Undead types—the fact is, almost all living beings can be transformed into Undead.

However, because of this, when Undead reach a certain level of growth, they have special requirements for certain things.

Thus, Undead always need to find sources of materials suitable for themselves.

Just like this time, the Mummies were attracted here due to the dried vines produced by Gu Xi’s side.

These items are exactly what the Mummies need.

As Mummies, all their bandages are made of linen cloth, but for high-tier Mummies, the linen they need is different.

They require fabric made from more resilient materials.

The dried vines from Gu Xi’s side perfectly meet their requirements.

And as Mummies, they need to fill their intestines with various spices. The recipe for these spices is naturally a secret, but some new spices full of Undead flair are also among their needs.

It could be said that if Gu Xi could continuously provide large quantities of dried vines, then the Mummies would naturally be willing to engage in long-term exchanges with Gu Xi.

As for what Gu Xi needs, it’s akin to trash like the sand in the desert; they can easily pick up a handful and find plenty of things. Sending a batch over doesn’t take much effort.

Thus, the Mummies promptly agreed and started considering how to proceed with the trade.

Gu Xi had discussed this issue with Luna and others during their meal.

According to Luna, there’s a type of construction called a trade point.

This building resembles a flat piece of land; once stationed by the roadside, trade caravans can automatically deliver needed materials here and transport away various stored items.

Gu Xi’s plan was to build trade points near the Gate of the Underworld, with each trade point corresponding to a different ally or friendly force. Once prices are marked and items are placed, someone will naturally handle them.

The Mummies were aware of this.

They probably have traded with other Undead before.

However, they hadn’t encountered lower-level figures like Gu Xi much.

This time, besides bringing a message, the Mummies also brought an architectural design plan for a trade point.

This design plan differs somewhat from other architectural design plans.

Trade points don’t have size classifications.

If a force is deemed important, it is placed on a large plot. If the force’s output is considered average, it’s placed on a small plot.

Typically, a large plot allows for a trade volume of thirty thousand items per transaction, a medium plot ten thousand, and a small plot five thousand items.

Even if everything is placed on small plots, it just means taking more trips, with no other differences.

The other party won’t refuse to trade with you because your trade point is small.

Nor will they give you free items because your trade point is large.

It can be said this kind of trade point is the fairest.

After taking the architectural design plan, Gu Xi handed it to Luna.

”Make a record for those architects; also, how soon can we build a trade point?”

”Based on the current labor force, we only need six hours to build a new trade point, sir. What size plot do we build?”

”Set up a medium plot trade point and arrange for some Undead to serve as hard laborers.

Then ascertain what spices the Mummies need.

We may not do well in planting grains, but planting spices shouldn’t be an issue.”

Gu Xi planned, ”We’ll allocate a plot to plant spices, as much as needed.”

Luna could only smile in response to Gu Xi’s idea.

However, she truly felt that Gu Xi’s choice this time was correct.

Transforming Yalidov City into a Market District at this time seems like a good choice.

Looking at the current Gate of the Underworld and Trade District, it’s enough to make Yalidov City fit the Market District for this period.

If Gu Xi hadn’t been decisive at that time, arranging and adjusting the usage method of the district early.

It would require much more time and effort now to modify things.

Thinking of this, Luna couldn’t help but look at Gu Xi.

She always felt that Gu Xi was extremely lucky.

At this moment, Gu Xi also felt Luna’s gaze.

”Luna, take a look; what else is needed here?”

”We need a Contracted Undead skilled in Financial Skills, or at least a Hero.”

”Right, a Hero!”

Gu Xi stated firmly, ”Clearly, we still need to arrange a few more Heroes on Yalidov’s end.

I’ll go clear another dungeon; this time, inside, I acquired two new Heroes.

Next time, perhaps there’ll be another opportunity to acquire more.”

”And the Eldest Princess Anna’s Grand Princess Council could be expanded further.”

Luna murmured.

These words left Gu Xi speechless.

After all, Luna was right.

Once the current dungeon is cleared, whether there’ll be Heroes is uncertain, but surely two new Annas will be acquired.

As for what kind of Lord the new Anna will be, that depends on each situation.

In any case, Eldest Princess Anna’s side can always arrange new positions.

”Stop complaining over there; this dungeon definitely needs to be cleared.

If I delay any longer, my experience will overflow.

I plan to clear the dungeon, immediately level up to Level 10. Before that, I must properly handle the dungeon.

Oh, I left the Heroic Achievements I brought back last time with you. Check to see if any Undead Bosses want to transform into Heroes.

Though the transformation success rate isn’t high, Heroes are ultimately stronger than Bosses.”

”Alright, I’ll arrange that.

Also, another Hero appeared in Yalidovoli just now; want to summon them to meet you, sir?”

Just now?

Gu Xi immediately understood it must be through Double Death, transforming from the Hero his subordinate killed when they ambushed the trees.

”Arrange for them here as well, and arrange for the Undead transformed from the eerie trees to come over.

Once the Magic Plant District is built, transfer them there for guarding; for now, let’s utilize them.”
