[Ghost Dragon (Summoned Creature) has slain Mind Controller Xiao Song (Level 9, BOSS), you gain 1 point of Experience, the slayer gains 6 points of Experience, other participants gain 5 points of Experience.]

[Westminster Cathedral Major Event instance, Boss No. 3 Mind Controller Xiao Song has been killed, the path to the Westminster Back Courtyard has been opened.]

[Please note, due to the different opening order of the Westminster Cathedral Cemetery and Westminster Cathedral Back Courtyard, there are some changes in the instance BOSS.]

Gu Xi was a bit stunned looking at the popped-up information.

He knew there were many ways to play the instance, but he truly didn’t expect it could be played this way.

It was obvious that after passing Boss No. 2 Celestial Destiny Tree Man, the road should split into two lines.

Whether to tackle the Cemetery first or the Back Courtyard, there is definitely a difference here.

Winning against Boss No. 3 even affects the presence of Boss No. 4.

If Gu Xi had gone to tackle the Westminster Cathedral Back Courtyard just now, maybe things could have turned out different.

However, Gu Xi hasn’t yet figured out how to choose between the Cemetery and the Back Courtyard.

He didn’t see any options at first. Once the Celestial Destiny Tree Man was slain, the path to the Cemetery just opened directly.

At that moment, because one side in the Death Arena perished, the Defense Shield over the Cemetery vanished, and the team from Britain rushed towards this side immediately.

After all, they had witnessed such a big commotion earlier and now wanted to see what had happened.

Westminster Cathedral is currently their focus of attention and can’t afford any mishaps now.

However, when they arrived, they saw Gu Xi scavenging the corpses.

The corpse in front of Gu Xi wasn’t Mind Controller Xiao Song’s but the original King of Britain, Long-legged Edward’s corpse.

To Gu Xi, Long-legged Edward had crawled out of his own grave.

That means he participated in the battle.

If he participated in the battle, he must leave some loot; he couldn’t have just come out for nothing.

So Gu Xi immediately started rummaging through Long-legged Edward.

Maybe Gu Xi’s movements were too big, for this already fallen king’s corpse even opened its eyes, muttering something to Gu Xi.

”Could you leave the crown and the longsword for me? I barely have any suitable burial items now.”

”With so few burial items, why would you rise up? Shouldn’t you hide yourself? Rest assured, I’ll put them back for you, but not now, as I need them to complete a task.”

As Gu Xi rummaged, he asked a question.

”I thought I could retrieve something, but it was ruined by you. Oh, could you toss away that leg bone for me? It’s not my bone. The leg’s too short to be mine.”

Gu Xi was a bit speechless about interacting with such an easy-going corpse.

However, he did help Long-legged Edward remove the leg bone.

As for finding a longer leg bone, Gu Xi wouldn’t do that, as none in the vicinity was longer.

[Bloodstained Leg Bone (Green): A leg bone found who knows where, covered in blood. It’s useless to some Undead, but could level up an ordinary Undead by 1 level (cap at Level 10).]

”Almost fed this to the dogs.”

Gu Xi muttered while putting away the leg bone.

Long-legged Edward’s eyes widened, just about to comment on Gu Xi’s manner of speaking.

But Gu Xi acted even faster, flipping his hand and tossing Long-legged Edward’s corpse into a nearby dug pit.

Whether the pit originally buried Long-legged Edward or not, Gu Xi didn’t know and had no intention to find out.

After all, I buried you already; what more do you want, a dedicated tomb?

Don’t be ridiculous. Not having your corpse turned into Undead is already honoring your identity and status.

Note that Gu Xi hasn’t touched just those few corpses, mainly those knights who carried Eldest Princess Anna’s corpse back from the Great Monarch.

Gu Xi back then honored their willingness to die for their beliefs, giving them a chance to be laid to rest underground.

Long-legged Edward, previously an enemy, even a complete burial was quite generous.

What more could he want?

After placing the stone slab back on the burial, Gu Xi patted his hands and approached Mind Controller Xiao Song’s corpse.

Compared to the previous two BOSSes whose corpses weren’t intact, Mind Controller Xiao Song’s condition was better since at least his body was intact.

When Gu Xi stood before Mind Controller Xiao Song’s corpse, a few Bone Dragons wanted to lift the body to see, but upon seeing Gu Xi approach, they stepped aside.

Gu Xi picked up Mind Controller Xiao Song, and this time didn’t pull out Evil Artifact Dagger. Bathed in blue light, something resembling a small purple bowl fell to the ground.

[You have obtained Death Arena (Blue, Treasure) *1]

[Death Arena (Blue, Treasure): Activatable within a specific range, neither side can surrender, escape, retreat, or exit the game once activated.]

Although he knew about Death Arena’s properties beforehand, obtaining it was another matter.

After obtaining the item, a look of satisfaction flashed in Gu Xi’s eyes.

This time’s gain seemed right, as the loot wasn’t another nearly useless dagger.

Apart from this Death Arena, Gu Xi found other items from Xiao Song.

[You have obtained 559 Gold Coins.]

[You have obtained Soul Fragments (White) *32.]

[You have obtained Stone Materials *34.]

[You have obtained Soldier Recruitment Coupon (Level 3) *4]

[You have obtained Building Stone (Level 2) *1]

[You have obtained Heart of Ten Thousand Armies (Green) *1]

[You have obtained Death Heart Arrow (Green) *1]

[Soul Fragments (White): Fragments condensed by Psychic Power, used to strengthen Mind Magic effects, or defend against psychic attacks.]

[Heart of Ten Thousand Armies (Green): Special item, utilizing psychic power to hypnotize nearby enemies into perceiving themselves in a war zone with over ten thousand troops, causing them to battle within the hypnotic state and unable to wake.]

[Death Heart Arrow (Green): Special item, can communicate with the Undead via Psychic Power, enabling contact with the Undead even if not an Undead Mage.]

Gu Xi glanced at the items but didn’t pay further attention, focusing all his concentration on a Potion bottle.
