Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 886: Chapter 884: New Hero and the Demon Chaos Market

After deciding on the plan, Gu Xi acted very quickly.

It only took a few hours before another newly appeared hero brought the undead, eerily transformed from trees, to this location.

The situation of this new hero and the undead surprised Gu Xi somewhat.

Their stature was clearly much larger than the undead tree pits stationed outside Yalidu City.

Judging by their appearance, they were obviously like dead War Ancient Trees.

[Othar (Level 8, Summoned Creatures, Undead Hero): Experience (0/7500), Attack 5, Defense 6, Life 125, Mana 20, Talent: War Support (After Level 5, friendly forces within three kilometers have attack and defense +1), Skills: Defense Skill, Offensive Skill, Leadership Skill, Leader (can simultaneously command 885 soldiers + 7 bosses’ corps)].

[Death Ancient Tree (Level 6, Summoned Corps): Experience (0/550), Attack 8, Defense 12, Life 38, Skills: Earth Spike Technique, Giant Stone Throwing, Root Entanglement.]

It can be seen that this type of Death Ancient Tree is very similar to the undead tree pits, both being excellent in close combat and ranged attacks.

However, it is obvious that the Death Ancient Tree is much larger, and most importantly, their movement speed is relatively quick.

Unlike the Death Tree Pit, which requires half a day to move even a short distance.

These Death Ancient Trees are suitable for city defense; they can fight outside the city or be deployed inside the city at any time.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, the new hero Othar bowed deeply, he directly bent his waist to bow his head before Gu Xi, speaking softly, not daring to raise his voice.

Even so, when he opened his mouth, the wind he generated still blew Gu Xi’s hair into disarray.

”My lord, the Death Ancient Tree fights for you.”

”Very good, very spirited, Othar, you have come at just the right time, this district just happens to need a defensive hero, your fast movement speed means you should first station nearby.

If the beacon is lit up ahead, you should decide on your own whether to attack or defend.”

Gu Xi quickly arranged Othar’s work.

In Gu Xi’s mind, having two heroes guarding here should be enough to resist different changes.

When Gu Xi has more heroes under him, he can arrange some new heroes to come over.

But for now, Gu Xi will first make do with these two.

After arranging the heroes, Gu Xi returned to the city center of Yalidu with Luna.

At this time, the Demon Chaos Market had already begun construction, with a large number of resources being transported from all directions.

Meanwhile, Gu Xi noticed that this Demon Chaos Market already occupied five large plots and seven medium plots in this district at the city center.

It can be said that this Demon Chaos Market has directly changed the style of the city center before them.

Upon entering the city center, Gu Xi felt like the surroundings were boiling over, a scene of complete chaos.

Many doors of various sizes appeared on the streets, each with a corresponding shop sign in front of them.

From time to time, strange sounds would come from behind the doors.

At the same time, Gu Xi noticed that the ground in this city center started to appear with some sewage.

This was completely different from the previous style of Yalidu City.

It should be known that although it is an Undead City, Yalidu has always been kept clean.

Besides, the undead do not like to talk, sometimes the streets are silent.

The current situation was clearly the hustle and bustle of crowded street alleyways, full of smoke and fire.

Upon entering, Gu Xi instinctively took a step back.

”Did I come to the wrong place?”

”No, I also wondered if something went wrong when I first built the Demon Chaos Market here.

But later, I discovered that this is the nature of the Demon Chaos Market.

Demon is one aspect, chaos is another.

The chaos manifests directly on this ground; we’ve tried to deal with it, but the situation on the ground is simply impossible to handle.”

Luna was there complaining non-stop.

For Luna, as the city’s Elf, witnessing this chaos was quite distressing for her.

”Why don’t we try placing the Bone Locust and Bone-devouring Mud here? Don’t they like to devour things?

Let them eat everything here?”

”That’s a good idea. Why didn’t I think of it?”

”Probably because your mind isn’t focused on it, ever since Eldest Princess Anna arrived, you’ve relaxed your understanding and control over the corps soldiers.

But that’s a good thing; if everyone specializes in their respective duties, our city can develop properly.”

Gu Xi also understood Luna’s current state.

After all, Yalidu City’s territory is growing larger and larger.

The things that need handling are increasing as well.

Although this is a game, it’s not the kind where you can build buildings without restrictions and nothing needs to be managed.

Every building requires personnel to work inside, every building has upgrade standards and task requirements.

All these things need Gu Xi to arrange.

Especially since Gu Xi’s regular army standards have been raised, the undead below Level 4 have increased, some undead are not suitable for fighting, but they have good talents in other aspects.

Luna must consider these undead and place them in suitable positions.

Gradually, Luna let go of battle command, she doesn’t even participate in battles much herself.

It’s normal for her not to immediately think of those high-level undead corps in some situations.

But Gu Xi is different; he indeed keeps what he has under his command in his heart.

Facing situations, Gu Xi will always think from multiple perspectives.

The chaotic street scene was nothing, but the garbage and filth on the ground was something Gu Xi did not like.

Summoning the Bone Locusts and Bone-devouring Mud was Gu Xi’s first thought upon entering here.

”Alright, I’ll mobilize these undead over, but should they be permanently stationed here?”

Gu Xi thought for a moment and finally said, ”Let them be stationed here long-term, first handle the situation of the Demon Chaos Market, and after stabilization, consider other matters.”

While talking with Luna, Gu Xi had also walked past some doors.

At this moment, Gu Xi noted that the Demon Chaos Market before him was actually quite complicated, selling things that Gu Xi didn’t expect.

Inside these shops, there were those selling various recipes, various materials, semi-finished tools, and even grains and corpses.

Gu Xi even saw a Purple Armor Shop here, claiming to sell various purple armor, unsure if it was true.
