As Lord of Mercury Anna made a move, Gu Xi felt something. He looked up in that direction and found a Vampire dressed in ragged clothes walking out from nearby.

This Vampire had the face of Eldest Princess Anna, a pair of fangs deliberately hanging from the sides of her mouth, her eyes crimson red, and a pair of brownish-yellow bat wings behind her.

In her hand, she held a pair of daggers infused with poison, clearly taking the close combat fast-attack path.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, this Vampire promptly bowed her head towards him.

”My lord.”

”A member of the Grand Princess Council?”

Gu Xi couldn’t help but laugh at the names under Eldest Princess Anna’s command.

”Yes, I am Lord Bloodwing Anna, a member of the Grand Princess Council, mainly responsible for combat logistics.”

Gu Xi was also taken aback by Lord Bloodwing Anna’s situation.

”How did you become a Lord, and who arranged your work?”

”My work was arranged by Eldest Princess Anna. Anyone related to Eldest Princess Anna can join the Grand Princess Council, and once they join, they all become Lords.

Furthermore, Eldest Princess Anna can elevate our rank based on the tasks we accomplish, up to the rank of Duke.

I came this time mainly to transport various strategic supplies here. Additionally, new troops have already been mobilized and should arrive in about fifteen minutes.”

Lord Bloodwing Anna explained the situation.

Gu Xi understood right away.

This Grand Princess Council was probably planned by Eldest Princess Anna from the start.

She might even have a plan in place for each entity connected to Anna, specifying what each should do.

”Alright, I understand, you can put the items down.”

Gu Xi smiled, ”By the way, when you go back later, take Lord of Mercury Anna with you, let Eldest Princess Anna decide how to arrange it appropriately.

Also, tell Eldest Princess Anna that the next instance exploration will have to wait until we’ve dealt with Yalidu City.”

At this moment, however, Lord Bloodwing Anna spoke up, ”My lord, feel free to speak directly, all these bodies count as me, I can hear it.”

Though Lord Bloodwing was still speaking, Gu Xi could sense that the person standing before him was now Eldest Princess Anna.

”When did you acquire such a capability?”

”Ever since I found Lord Bloodwing Anna, although she’s from an instance, she really is me.”

”You can play like this?” Gu Xi was somewhat speechless, but just now he was thinking about the linkage between Death Incarnation and Death City, so he asked another question.

”Do you want me to build a council hall for you? If needed, I can conveniently help you find suitable architectural design plans.”

”I do need it. I was originally thinking to find an architectural design plan myself and have Luna handle the rest. If my lord is willing, then I’ll leave it to you.”

”Alright.”

Gu Xi smiled at Eldest Princess Anna, and in the next instant, her presence changed back from Eldest Princess Anna to Lord Bloodwing Anna.

Gu Xi felt a bit of envy towards such clone-switching abilities.

But as a player, it’s impossible to have clones.

Even if possible, it couldn’t be used this way.

It seems a change in thinking is necessary.

Due to Eldest Princess Anna’s appearance earlier, Gu Xi actually handed over Lord of Mercury Anna in his presence.

Then he took out the Netherworld Transformation Teleportation Gate and handed it over to Luna.

Once Luna got hold of the Netherworld Transformation Teleportation Gate, she examined the item thoroughly.

Unlike architectural design plans, the Netherworld Transformation Teleportation Gate can truly only be used once.

Gu Xi took it out now mainly to ensure that at this period, Yalidu City could have a city gate to hold up for a while.

As an Elf of Yalidu City, Luna swiftly flipped through the Netherworld Transformation Teleportation Gate, then adjusted the mirror before her, looking for the suitable position to place the Gate of the Underworld.

Gu Xi himself didn’t linger much as the soldiers and logistics supplies sent by Lord Bloodwing had also arrived.

Gu Xi organized those soldiers, leading them for the final cleanup of Yalidu City.

Once the ground in Yalidu City had been rid of all Deceitful Shadows, the Gate of the Underworld was placed down.

Gu Xi saw the Gate of the Underworld at the southern end of Yalidu City.

The Gate of the Underworld before him clearly wasn’t designed for a battle gate.

This gate was thirty meters wide, but stood a lofty sixty meters tall.

Unlike other gates Gu Xi possessed, this gate came with a closable door, and a body hung from the top of the door.

As Gu Xi approached, the body turned its head and glared at him a few times.

Gu Xi immediately recognized this as the earlier Gatekeeper Kaisa, now part of the Gate of the Underworld.

Normally, he hung atop the gate, feeling the Netherworld’s breath blowing out from the crack of the door.

Only when the door of the Gate of the Underworld was open, would this breeze stop.

Unlike the normal gates in Gu Xi’s possession.

The largest trait of the Gate of the Underworld is its tri-sided nature.

It can be used as a normal gate, but should any enemies attack.

Well, sorry, if you forcefully open the gate, it won’t lead to Yalidu City but to some unknown realm of the Netherworld.

This gate is here, you attack it, if you manage to return after entering, then you’re truly capable.

Of course, there’s a third usage for the Gate of the Underworld, which is to actively open it, thus even if opened from behind, it still won’t lead to Yalidu City but to some Netherworld.

However, the Undead inside are free to come out.

Whether Gu Xi wants to borrow the power of these Undead for combat, or hope to recruit these Undead to supplement his troops or resources, he can easily achieve it.

Don’t forget, one of Gu Xi’s skills includes the Power of a Death Lord.

As long as he’s present, neutral Undead have a fifty percent chance volunteering to join Gu Xi’s ranks.

As for those with masters, Gu Xi can converse with them, having them contact the Netherworld’s owner behind, and if fortunate, might even make a friend.

There’s a saying, ”more friends, more roads.”

The Gate of the Underworld might very well become a point where Gu Xi connects with other realms of the Netherworld.

After seeing the Gate of the Underworld, an idea suddenly flashed through Gu Xi’s mind.

He turned towards Luna.

”Luna, has the area division and layout been completed here?”

”Not yet, we’ve barely taken control for a few days, spending time clearing various structures here. My lord, is there something you need?”

”I just toured around the Gate of the Underworld and discovered some advantages of its traits, I intend to turn this from an Industrial Zone into a Market District.”
