[Ding! You converse with the logistics officer in the dungeon and inadvertently receive a message. You have activated a dungeon quest!]

[Dungeon Quest: Outdated Weapons]

[Quest Description: Within Victoria City, there are some outdated military warehouses packed with obsolete or unused equipment. There are always people in the warehouse with various thoughts, and these weapons and equipment are the best social materials for them.]

[Quest Requirements: Provide more than ten types of items of interest to the military warehouse logistics officer (0/10)]

[Quest Reward: Access to Victoria City military channels.]

[Note 1: Sometimes trading doesn’t happen at the upper level but at the lower level.]

[Note 2: Logistics is the place where everything is richest; here you can get everything.]

Looking at the information popping up in front of him, Gu Xi was surprised to discover a situation.

This time the dungeon quest is not an internal task but an external mission.

In other words, Gu Xi guessed wrong from the beginning; some external tasks are received inside the dungeon, but they can connect outside the dungeon.

This situation made Gu Xi understand new task ideas and clues.

So he began to communicate with the logistics officer in front of him.

Since the logistics officer could create tasks, naturally others could also create tasks.

Just as Gu Xi had guessed, he quickly found several clues for external tasks afterward.

At the same time, he accepted the last internal task.

The internal task came from a senior member of the self-proclaimed Royal Science Society, who was responsible for the apple tree planting work in Westminster Cathedral.

In the Royal Science Society, apple tree planting has risen from farm work to the height of science.

This time Westminster Cathedral had an incident, the apple tree was most affected.

This person, somewhat afraid, feared the apple tree would topple over; he hoped Gu Xi could help him find a suitable apple as a seed for the new apple tree.

If Gu Xi can find a better apple tree, he could assist Gu Xi with a Druid experiment or use Druid power to fight for Gu Xi.

[Dungeon Quest: The Future Apple Tree]

[Quest Description: To prevent any issues with the core apple tree, the Druid of the Royal Science Society hopes to obtain a special apple for cultivating the apple tree.]

[Quest Requirements: One special apple (0/1)]

[Quest Reward: Level 10 Druid assistance once.]

[Note 1: An apple is just an apple, but sometimes it carries a different meaning.]

[Note 2: An apple imbued with mysterious power may occasionally induce special changes.]

For this task, Gu Xi didn’t even need to think; he knew where the answer was.

Inside the tomb of Flower of the North, several different apples are stored—if Gu Xi was shameless enough to pick one at random from the tomb, he could complete the task.

Of course, Gu Xi could choose not to do that; he currently has a good relationship with Pei Xin City Agricultural University, and he can obtain a few special apples from there.

No matter which option he chooses, Gu Xi considers the task half-complete.

As for what he wants the Druid to do, it’s obviously to plant trees.

Gu Xi plans to establish a Magic Plant District; without the Druid’s help, relying only on those Little Elves might take forever.

Apart from this internal task, several external tasks are related to the Brittanian factions.

The faction dressed in black robes and pretending to be mages with their wooden sticks, they have an external task here.

Their external task is similar to the one with the logistics officer, except they need various herbs, and in return, they offer magic potions with different effects.

It’s safe to say they are in the business of magic potion processing.

Seeing Gu Xi as seemingly well-off and in need of magic potions, they started their business with him.

Under such circumstances, business cannot be conducted in the Westminster Cathedral incident dungeon; they provided Gu Xi with an address, and as long as Gu Xi sends someone there, the transaction can proceed.

In addition, there’s one last external task, which is quite unique compared to the others, and Gu Xi feels that this external task seems like a long-term mission connecting several dungeons.

This external task is just the beginning; it’s not a trading task like the previous two.

The task before him was given by a soldier who had come to join the battle.

When Gu Xi arrived, he only conversed briefly with this soldier.

The soldier told Gu Xi he was a retired soldier, but when he was ready to leave, he got wrapped in the Westminster Cathedral incident.

At the time of the incident, he happened to be on the plaza near Westminster Cathedral.

When Anna recruited, he signed up immediately and was assigned to the royal army, serving as a grunt and cannon fodder.

Many like him exist in the nearby ranks.

He’s just one of them.

However, he had his ideas, ”Lord Gu, I’m not boasting, but I’m very capable. This time after retiring, I plan to go back to the countryside, buy some farmland, and establish a ranch.

Then get married and raise a dozen kids.”

Listening to this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but roll his eyes; raising a bunch of kids with your physique, really?

The soldier then added, ”But at the start of the battle, I suddenly found that the whistle I’ve always carried with me was missing. Can you help me find this whistle?”

”Is the whistle very important to you?”

”Very important. If you find it and I’m not around, could you please deliver it to me?”

[Ding! You converse with an interesting soldier in the dungeon and learn he encountered an issue. The helpful you seems inclined to assist him; you have activated a dungeon quest!]

[Dungeon Quest: The Mysterious Whistle]

[Quest Description: A retired soldier has lost the whistle that has accompanied him for years, and he hopes someone can help recover it.]

[Quest Requirements: Mysterious bronze whistle (0/1)]

[Quest Reward: 5000 Experience Points, 300 copper coins.]

[Note 1: Blow the whistle and earn that experience; you’ll be smiling there.]

[Note 2: Don’t blow the whistle when you’re idle; this whistle definitely has some issues behind it.]

These external tasks number only three, and Gu Xi has taken them all.

As for the exclusive task that concerns Gu Xi the most, there are still no clues up to now.

To address this issue, Gu Xi has questioned many people, using the last bit of time to communicate comprehensively with them, yet received no feedback.

It’s as if the exclusive task isn’t meant to be received in this dungeon.

As the two-hour mark approaches, Gu Xi’s heart begins to consider giving up.
