In Sky Garden 1, Room 1001, near the private teleportation gate at the back, a flash of electricity appeared, and Gu Xi, covered in injuries and looking disheveled, staggered out.

Despite being injured, it couldn’t hide the smile on Gu Xi’s face.

This Westminster Cathedral incident really got blown out of proportion by Gu Xi this time.

In this Westminster Cathedral incident, Gu Xi didn’t follow the storyline of the instance at all.

Even after leaving the station, he ignored the Grand Knight. As soon as the Spirit Lamp carrier was released, the Mind Shield effect started, and no one knew Gu Xi entered.

Gu Xi, accompanied by Eldest Princess Anna, familiarized himself with the underground mausoleum of the Flower of the North and entered the attack range of Tail King Spore Cultist Charlie.

Meanwhile, the British forces were still on the ground resisting the attacks from Gatekeeper Kaisa.

This time, Gu Xi didn’t give Tail King Spore Cultist Charlie any chance to react.

He unleashed fifteen thousand Skeleton Shooters, and under a wave of Rain of Arrows, not yet woken up or having uttered a line, Spore Cultist Charlie was nailed at the root of the Apple Tree.

With the killing of Spore Cultist Charlie.

The situation changed instantly, and Gu Xi realized why killing Spore Cultist Charlie early would result in the achievement ”Under the Apple Tree, You and Me.”

As Spore Cultist Charlie fell in battle, the roots of the Apple Tree rapidly transformed, turning black in an instant.

Simultaneously, the entire Apple Tree started shaking, clearly after losing Spore Cultist Charlie’s control, the Great Monarch’s power brought by the cultists had polluted the Apple Tree before them.

Eldest Princess Anna, accompanying Gu Xi, immediately judged that this evil power only needed five hours to pollute the entire Apple Tree.

This means to complete this achievement, Gu Xi needs to kill the remaining four Bosses within five hours.

Gu Xi hesitated for just a moment and immediately prepared to attempt this achievement.

Anyway, Gu Xi has already unleashed his army, with heroes and troops at his disposal, the battle would go smoothly regardless.

Wiping out all the Bosses in five hours is an easy task.

But Gu Xi never expected that Spore Cultist Charlie’s death, causing changes in the Apple Tree, would also attract Anna’s attention within the instance.

In the previous instance, Gu Xi stole a Celestial Destiny Stone, and Anna was there scheming with the Grand Knight.

Now confronted with matters regarding the Apple Tree, how could Anna within the instance sit idle?

The situation eventually turned into a joint attack by cultists and British Influence, launching assaults from all directions at Gu Xi’s location.

This caught Gu Xi off guard, he never thought the instance could turn out like this.

So Gu Xi changed his initial plan, turning the instance into a defensive battle.

Gu Xi was caught off guard initially, continuing the fight as before, but Anna within the instance showed considerable skill.

At the same time, those various forces looked down upon by Gu Xi displayed considerable combat power.

Several times, they nearly suppressed Gu Xi underground.

If it weren’t for Gu Xi’s ample troops, rapid reinforcements, and a large number of Level 10 elite forces, Gu Xi might have suffered a great loss in this battle.

But towards the end, Gu Xi personally took the field.

Even to deal with the knight invited over at the last moment, Gu Xi had to increase his level by 1, deploy two Death Incarnations, along with Level 19 Zombies and Two-headed Dragons, plus other Undead above Level 15 to finally disassemble that knight.

As the knight fell in battle, Gu Xi finally understood, just as Eldest Princess Anna mentioned.

This knight’s situation was quite special.

He only existed to guard the Apple Tree; if Gu Xi hadn’t touched the Apple Tree, he would generally not appear.

But Gu Xi’s killing of Spore Cultist Charlie caused changes in the Apple Tree, providing him with the justification to act.

Yet his actions differed from Gu Xi’s expectations.

Despite his main body reaching over Level 20, he did not exhibit extraordinary combat prowess.

In this battle, he only showed Level 10 combat power, but his battle skills exceeded many others.

Clearly just a Level 10, seemingly profession-less man, even deploying a Death Incarnation wasn’t enough for Gu Xi, requiring the deployment of Level 19 Undead, and several times Gu Xi even utilized Hellhounds, only to have them directly sealed off by this individual.

A newly released Level 20 Hellhound didn’t even catch sight of Gu Xi’s surroundings before being sent away by this knight.

Never to return again.

It’s fair to say this battle gave Gu Xi quite a headache.

But Gu Xi wasn’t foolish; he was also capable, repelling enemy attacks on one front, while besieging that knight with his subordinates.

He also didn’t forget that this was just an instance before him.

The truly critical point of the instance was defeating all five Bosses to complete it.

It’s fair to say this time it was a triple line battle for Gu Xi.

Using his troops to fiercely fight against the Bosses, British forces.

Even burning down the Apple Tree; only against that knight could Gu Xi drag it out without being able to kill him.

In the end, when Gu Xi killed Anna from the instance, this knight even thought of coming to snatch Anna’s corpse from Gu Xi.

Ultimately, Eldest Princess Anna dragged the corpse aside and frightened the knight away.

After that, the knight seemed to understand something; although he still acted, he didn’t exert full force, merely safeguarding the Apple Tree from issues.

His goodwill also allowed Gu Xi to sense it, otherwise truly believing Gu Xi could defeat this knight with his little ability?

It should be noted that when the knight withdrew to protect the Apple Tree, the death toll of Gu Xi’s soldiers rapidly decreased, and later even continuously increased.

Eventually, Gu Xi straightforwardly unleashed all the Undead Corps he could deploy.

Taking advantage of the knight ignoring this matter, attacking every visible creature with full force.

Even those civilians previously rescued by Gu Xi to complete tasks within the instance also perished at Gu Xi’s hands this time.

After this battle, besides the half-mutated Apple Tree, there weren’t any living creatures left in the entire Westminster Cathedral instance.

Gu Xi’s cherished ”Under the Apple Tree, You and Me” achievement vanished.

Yet he obtained another achievement.

”Why isn’t this Instance Alive?”

”Why isn’t this Instance Alive? (Blue, Achievement): With valid reasons, kill all living beings within an instance, including enemy forces and friendly NPCs, to complete this achievement.

Achievement Reward: Unlocking Battle Banner color Blood Red.
