Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 87: Chapter 85: Mutation

When the Death Incarnation made a move, the other two laboratories also noticed it.

But the situation in these two laboratories was not as good as that of the Ghost in the Giant Mountain Spiritual Technology Laboratory, and the experimental subjects at the Gu Liqian Gene Inheritance Laboratory were all brainless gene synthesis beasts.

They were different from the Ghost; they were not fighting for the Gu Liqian Gene Inheritance Laboratory at all. They were simply fighting mindlessly.

Seeing the ice mirror pressing down from the sky, their first reaction was actually to jump onto the roof of the Gu Liqian Gene Inheritance Laboratory and find a way to enter the mirror.

When the Death Incarnation flew over, these beasts didn’t even respond.

Only when the Death Incarnation almost flew right up to them did they turn around and launch an attack on it.

However, there weren’t many beasts that could really react, and the Death Incarnation had no intention to defeat these beasts. As long as the beasts didn’t stop the ice mirror from descending and didn’t disrupt Luna’s plan, they could do whatever they wanted.

So the Death Incarnation chose a few beasts that were clearly about to be suppressed and attacked them. When the ice mirror landed on the roof of the Gu Liqian Gene Inheritance Laboratory, it no longer concerned itself with the situation here.

Two out of the three laboratories had already begun to exile, and the third one had no strength to resist. Even before the Death Incarnation flew over, the ice mirror was already pressing down on those strange weapons and onto the laboratory’s roof.

As the three laboratories were affected by the ice mirror, the originally materialized laboratories slowly began to phantomize.

Luna finally breathed a sigh of relief at this moment; things had reached a point of no return. Next, it depended on whether Victoria City could accommodate such three large laboratories.

Retracting the mirror in her hands, Luna waved to the Ghosts, who flew over immediately with the mirror reflecting, surrounding Luna.

Just like that, the three abandoned laboratories became transparent as if they were covered by a gigantic invisibility cloak. One could see the outline of the laboratories, but not the color.

The Death Incarnation also knew that by this point, things were more or less finished.

The three laboratories no longer had a chance to overturn this situation, so it descended next to Luna, curiously observing this exile operation.

For the Death Incarnation, this was considered a rather rare experience, so it took a few more glances at the laboratories.

As a result, by looking over them, the Death Incarnation realized something was wrong. It twisted its body, bit Luna, and flew her into the sky.

Luna was also startled by this, but then she relaxed, being completely able to sense that the Death Incarnation had no intention of harming her. On the contrary, it was taking her away from here.

It must be that the Death Incarnation sensed something.

Sure enough, as the Death Incarnation flew up, a giant arm suddenly extended from where Luna had been standing.

This arm just extended a small part of the forearm from the ground, yet it was a full twenty meters tall, covered entirely in muscle with a bronze-colored finish.

If the Death Incarnation hadn’t taken Luna away in advance, Luna might have already been caught in this hand by now.

As the arm rose, the same sound echoed from the nearby ground.

One by one, bronze arms emerged from the ground, abruptly staying at ground level.

These arms varied in size, with the largest around fifteen meters tall and the smallest just over two meters, but regardless of the size, if you looked closely, you would find that all these arms were right hands.

”What is this?”

Luna, taken into the sky by the Death Incarnation, was also taken aback by the scene below.

The Death Incarnation had no way to answer. At this time, its eyes were filled with confusion. Earlier, it instinctively felt uneasy, as if some natural enemy had appeared.

That’s why it had taken Luna into the air, without considering the situation with the arm.

But judging by the current situation, these arms shouldn’t be living entities.

In truth, the Death Incarnation didn’t understand why it had the feeling of encountering a natural enemy because the high figure once captured by the laboratory was a Hundred-armed Giant.

And the Giant Type and the Dragon Type were inherently natural enemies.

Although both sides were dead now, one becoming the Death Incarnation and the other dismembered by the laboratory, some things were deeply ingrained in the bones. The Death Incarnation immediately sensed the oppressiveness brought by the Giant.

It just didn’t understand what was happening itself and could only carry Luna into flight.

As so many arms extended from the ground, Gu Xi also saw this situation.

At this time, he was shocked too, and without considering anything else, he directly jumped from the roof of the assembly hall, rushing towards the direction of the abandoned old city.

And at that moment, Luna in the sky also saw an occurrence, noticing that the bronze arms emerging from the ground were moving towards the main city district of Yaliduo.

Luna said hastily, ”Take me back to the assembly hall, something’s wrong with this situation.”

Hearing this, the Death Incarnation spread its wings and transformed into a black mist, dashing forward.

The Death Incarnation’s flying speed was much faster than Luna’s. Gu Xi had just taken a few steps when he saw the Death Incarnation bringing Luna flying over.

”Luna, what’s happening?”

”Sir, it seems that something buried under the abandoned old city has been released. That thing was originally suppressed by the three abandoned laboratories. With the laboratories gone, the situation is somewhat out of control, and I need to deal with it.”

Luna quickly explained her judgment in a few words and rushed into the assembly hall.

Gu Xi immediately realized that the situation was off, and he didn’t go in to disturb Luna but waved towards the Death Incarnation.

”Go stop those arms from approaching the Yaliduo Main City District.”

After issuing this order, Gu Xi turned and headed towards the tavern.

As of now, he didn’t even know what the enemy was, so he didn’t know how to help.

The only one who could find out the enemy’s situation in a short time was the barmaid at the tavern.

Although a bit late, it was better than doing nothing.

As Gu Xi ran towards the tavern, two bronze arms had already grown beneath the surface of Yalidu City.

At the same time, changes also occurred at the assembly hall. A beam of moonlight descended from the sky, landing on the roof of the assembly hall, and then all the street lamps in Yalidu City lit up.

Gu Xi noticed that all these street lamps were lit with white candles produced by the White Candle Factory.

With these white candles burning, the entire Yaliduo City was enveloped in an eerie atmosphere of death.
