Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 240, Your Points Are Mine Now!

Translator: Silavin

Lu Fan watched as Kiran’s expressions went through wild changes, easily able to guess Kiran’s whole thought process.

[Kiran must have set his sights on my points. It is great that he did not get scared away by my points. Otherwise, I would have to go through the trouble of chasing him. How convenient of him to deliver himself to my door.] Thinking of this, Lu Fan smiled and said, “I have a lot of points, don’t I? Want them? You can try and take them if you want. After killing me, you can get at least 700K points.”

*Gulp!* Kiran gulped, clearly tempted.

He gave a cold laugh and equipped a golden staff.

This staff was only about arm’s length, much smaller than regular staffs, but from its appearance, it should be a Platinum Grade Item, and was quite valuable.

“Although I don’t know how you got so many points, I can still assure you that these points are mine now!” As he spoke, Kiran waved his staff, and mist spurted from the top, gradually spreading out and finally gathering into the seven-coloured python’s wounds.

The seven-coloured python’s wounds were healing at a visible rate. At the same time, Lu Fan could feel that the python’s Attributes had also received some Buffs.

[Is this Skill something that can heal a Summon’s wounds and convert its injuries into Attributes? If so, this Skill is Heaven-defying!]

Still, nothing in this world did not come at a price. Lu Fan guessed that this Skill’s Effect should have a limit. Also, if his Xiao Ye used Dragon Breath to burn this seven-coloured python to ashes, surely this Skill could not bring it back to life, right?

Moreover, even if it gained Attributes, it should be a temporary boost; the Attributes could not be retained forever. Otherwise, Kiran’s Profession Characteristics would be too overpowered.

No matter what, it was ultimately just a reptile without wings. No matter how much it improved, it could never be compared to the mighty Dragon Race.

Lu Fan held his Flaming Meteor Sword, unhurriedly. He actually just wanted to see when the other three planned to show themselves.

After being healed, the seven-coloured python’s fear of Xiao Ye had also lessened somewhat. At least, it now had the courage to fight against her.

Kiran waved his staff again, giving his snake Pet another Buff, making its body visibly swell up a size. The poison mist in its mouth became so concentrated it was almost solid. It was now pitch black and nearly unable to disperse.

“Xiao Qi, what does it matter if the opponent is a Dragon? It’s just a level 33 Pet. Spray it down!” At Kiran’s command, the seven-coloured python opened its huge mouth and sprayed a mouthful of poison mist towards Lu Fan and Xiao Ye.

This Skill somewhat resembles Dragon Breath. Unfortunately, compared to Dragons, it was far too inferior.

Lu Fan did not even need to issue a command; with just a thought, through spiritual connection, Xiao Ye understood, and Lava Blaze was released from her mouth, colliding with the opponent’s poison mist.

In an instant, the poison mist was ignited and completely melted away.

Xiao Ye’s Lava Blaze did not pause at all though. It was counterattacking towards Kiran, about to cover him from above.

Seeing this, Kiran was greatly shocked but reacted very quickly, immediately grabbing his snake Pet and letting it dive into the depths of the swamp to avoid the Lava Blaze.

The Lava Blaze missed its target, and magma and flames fell onto the swamp pool, immediately causing countless foul-smelling vapours to spread.

Lu Fan frowned. He originally wanted to have Xiao Ye fly higher to avoid these filthy, foul-smelling gases, but he suddenly sensed something and his lips curled up slightly. [Finally, the ambush.]

Suddenly, on three trees not far from Lu Fan, Human silhouettes could clearly be seen moving. An experienced Player could tell at a glance that they were using a Concealment Skill to hide their form, and they were now finally making their move. They were about to emerge from their Concealed state.

However, were the other three all Assassins?

No, they were not.

Lu Fan turned around to see a mighty figure flying towards him like a cannonball, with the Concealment Effect on her body having dissipated.

Seeing the opponent at first glance, Lu Fan could not help but be startled. [This ‘big’ Sister is truly imposing!]

If Lu Fan’s eyesight was not as good as it was right now, he really would have mistaken her for a man.

Wei Ji wielded an iron hammer even larger than herself. She was flying towards Lu Fan while raising the weapon in her hands up high.

Around her body, the phantom image of a bear flashed past. This strike was far from simple.

If fighting alone, Lu Fan would definitely need to use Dragon Fang Strike to clash against her head-on.

But now, Lu Fan was Riding Xiao Ye, his Strength Attribute was off the charts. He did not even need to unleash a Skill to deal with her.

With a wave of the Flaming Meteor Sword in his hand, Sword Qi slashed through the air, aimed directly at Wei Ji.

Wei Ji had intended to ambush and heavily wound Lu Fan with one hammer strike, but she had not expected the opponent to seem to know about her existence beforehand, responding almost the instant she made her move.

Seeing Lu Fan’s sword strike, she simply followed through with bringing down her war hammer, planning to directly smash Lu Fan’s Sword Qi and then blast him down from the sky.

Wei Ji was very confident in her Strength Attribute. As someone who inherited a Hidden Profession related to the Bear God, her Passive Skill was about gaining Divine Power, increasing her Strength Attribute to levels that made others feel dread.

Wei Ji had never seen anyone with a Higher Strength Attribute than herself, not when they were of the same Level. Even Fourth Profession Players had to concede to her in terms of their Strength Attribute.

Due to this confidence, she had not taken Lu Fan’s sword strike seriously. After all, he did not even use a Skill. She merely treated it as just a rushed counter-attack.

However, the moment the Sword Qi collided with her war hammer, Wei Ji knew she had been wrong.

With a thunderous *Boom!*, Wei Ji felt an enormous force rebound from the war hammer, and she was immediately blasted away. The massive recoil made her cough up blood.

After landing pathetically in the swamp pool, Wei Ji had only one thought, [How could his Strength be so terrifying!?]

Conservatively estimating, she calculated it must be over 10,000 in Strength Attribute!

[How could this possibly be the Stats of a Level 30-something Player!?]

After repelling Wei Ji with one sword strike, Lu Fan did not lower his guard. After all, he knew two other people had joined in to attack at the same time.

Almost the instant Wei Ji was sent flying, two long-prepared Skills came crashing down towards him.

Of these two Skills, one was Arrow Rain wrapped in gleaming green light, looking very similar to the Archer’s Arrow Rain Skill. However this Skill clearly had each arrow hold Additional Skill Effects, making its Attack Power stronger.

The other Skill was dark energy balls converging from all directions. Numerous in quantity, each one seeming alive as they surrounded Lu Fan and Xiao Ye, leaving no path for retreat.
