Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 226, Finding Reasons to Disqualify Lu Fan?

Translator: Silavin

If there was an exploit in their own design of the Secret Realm and someone exploited it, the responsibility lay not with the organisers but with the person making use of the exploit, who must be severely punished.

This kind of argument, if made anywhere else, would likely invite roars of laughter.

It was clearly their own mistake, yet they wanted others to bear the responsibility. Was that not ridiculous?

However, for Extremistis Country, this was just standard procedure. They could make mistakes, but if someone profited from their mistakes, they truly believe the participant must be punished.

Of course, if it was someone from Extremistis Country doing this, that would be a different story.

Seeing Lu Fan’s points abnormally skyrocket by so much, how could Jin Zaian sit still?

If any issues were found with Lu Fan’s point acquisition in the Secret Realm, Jin Zaian would definitely use rule violation as the reason to disqualify Lu Fan from the competition.

The subordinates around Jin Zaian were terrified. They hurriedly went to find the Secret Realm architect responsible for maintaining the Secret Realm’s operation, asking if anything unusual had occurred in the Secret Realm.

However, Jin Zaian was soon informed that the Secret Realm was operating normally, with absolutely no abnormalities.

In other words, Lu Fan’s method of gaining points was completely legitimate. He was definitely not making use of any exploits in the Secret Realm.

Once he heard that, Jin Zaian’s face darkened even more. He looked at Lu Fan’s current points, which had already soared to over 100,000, far surpassing Jin Chenghan, who would not be able to catch up even if he rode a horse.

[That brat, how in the world did he obtain so many points!? None of the Twenty-Three Country Alliance representatives have died, so it’s impossible for him to gain so many points through plundering. As for farming Monsters and completing Missions, that’s even more of an impossibility…] Jin Zaian fell into deep thought.

A nearby subordinate carefully asked, “Master Jin, why don’t we directly connect to the Dragon Country Special Envoy’s live feed and see what he’s doing right now?”

Jin Zaian’s face showed a trace of impatience, and he backhanded a slap across his subordinate’s face. “You idiot! If we secretly watch the Dragon Country Special Envoy’s live feed here, it will definitely be detected by their delegation.”

“The one leading Dragon Country’s delegation is Han Feibai. If he gets a hold of any evidence against us of that level, he could have our Extremistis Country permanently kicked out of the Twenty-Three Country Alliance. If that happens, we would never be eligible to participate in the National Trial again! Are you brainless!? How dare you even suggest such an idea!?”

The subordinate, dazed from the slap, quickly knelt down and said, “This lowly one knows his mistake. This lowly one is a fool, please say no more…”

Jin Zaian could not be bothered to argue with his subordinate. His facial muscles twitched as he thought about finding a reason to disqualify the Dragon Country representative.

However, the Secret Realm architect reported that this person had not violated any rules. What good reason could he use to disqualify him?

Because his points were increasing too fast and it was not normal?!

If they really disqualified the Dragon Country representative for this reason, would the whole world not laugh at his Extremistis Country?

Jin Zaian was not stupid. He knew he could not use such an obvious reason to eliminate Lu Fan from the competition.

After much thought, Jin Zaian still could think of a compelling reason.

With no choice, he could only order the kneeling subordinate to find the Secret Realm architect and closely monitor Lu Fan’s situation. If there was any abnormality that could be used as leverage, they were to record it immediately and find a way to kick him out of the Secret Realm.

As for the rankings… he could only place his hopes on Jin Chenghan.

Jin Zaian knew that Jin Chenghan had a grudge against the Dragon Country representative and had said multiple times that he would definitely kill Lu Fan in the National Trial Secret Realm.

If Jin Chenghan really killed Lu Fan and got his points, then the top spot would belong to him.

[Although Lu Fan is gaining points at a terrifying pace, and he has a Pet Dragon, Jin Chenghan is moving together with Musashi Ten. Two T1 Level Players should be able to kill a Level 30-something Second Profession Player without much difficulty, right?]

…

Meanwhile,  Lu Fan had been blocking the entrance of the Dark Castle with Xing Chen and Xiao Ye, slaughtering wave after wave of Monsters.

Almost every wave of Monsters had a Boss guarding it, providing massive amounts of Experience Points and points.

Xing Chen’s Level was rising rapidly. In just over an hour, she had already reached Level 14, just a hair’s breadth away from Level 15.

After seeing that he already ranked first in points, Lu Fan no longer paid attention to the rankings. He was confident that after he cleared this Dark Castle, his points would undoubtedly be the highest.

At that time, he could leisurely sweep through the entire National Trial Secret Realm, snatching points from everyone else. Not only did he want to be first, but he also wanted to ensure his point ratio was ridiculously high, securing as many resources as possible for Dragon Country!

By now, Lu Fan had cleared at least four more waves of Monsters, with each wave’s overall strength increasing a notch.

Finally, a Boss named Demon General appeared. It was a Level 85 Diamond Grade Boss (Terror Grade Boss).

Under his command were two hundred Demon Knights, alk Level 75 Gold Grade Bosses with truly terrifying strength!

This lineup’s strength had surpassed any battle Lu Fan had experienced before. Even the previous two Flying Dragon King Souls paled in comparison to this Boss battle with the Demon General.

The previous wave of Monsters had already put considerable pressure on Lu Fan, Xiao Ye, and Xing Chen. So, when this wave with the Demon General appeared, Lu Fan did not act tough and summoned Xiao Cui.

Having one less Pet Dragon would indeed allow the others to gain more Experience Points. But if just one of his ‘Daughters’ died, what use was Experience Points?

After all, this was a Dark Castle, with a Hell Demon that took five Fourth Profession Players to conquer.

If Lu Fan did not summon out Xiao Cui, it would be somewhat disrespectful to the Nine Hell Demons.

Now facing the Demon General, Lu Fan called out Xiao Cui to share the Experience Points with. In fact, not only Xiao Cui, but the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons were also summoned.

The Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons not only had greatly improved Combat Power, making them worthy of being considered two important combat forces by Lu Fan, but more importantly, as members of the Dragon Race, they could trigger the Passive Effect of Xiao Cui’s Dragons’ Bond.

Once Xiao Cui appeared, her Dragons’ Bond took effect, increasing all Attributes of Lu Fan and his Pet Dragons by a full 100%!

That was not all. Xiao Cui’s coquettish *Yiiii Yiii Ying* sounded, and flashes of emerald green light from her body illuminated all the Pet Dragons and Lu Fan.

Enhancement Skills like Jade Light, Spring of Life, and Jade Shield were frantically applied, causing Lu Fan’s Dragon Army’s Combat Power to skyrocket by more than 100%!

Lu Fan could not help but sigh that battles were so much more comfortable with Xiao Cui around!

Now with all Enhancement Skills applied, Lu Fan felt an inexhaustible power surging through his entire body!

“Kids, prepare to charge!” Lu Fan felt utterly elated as he held the Flaming Meteor Sword, looking down at the Demon General and his Demon Knight army below.

Five Dragons danced in the sky, and an unparalleled pressure fell down like a waterfall.
