Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 233, Fallen Corpse Puppets Demon Army

Translator: Silavin

This sight stunned Lu Fan. After all, the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons were Xiao Cui’s Summons. In Lu Fan’s heart, he had not placed them in the same position as his little girls.

To Lu Fan, these two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons were more like tools, sacrifices if the situation calls for it. After all, if they died, it would only put the Summon Skill on Cooldown for half a day.

But now, it seemed like these two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons actually had high intelligence and consciousness. They clearly understood that although they were now Pure Blood Giant Dragons, their status in Lu Fan’s team was still not high. Even when they wanted to eat something, the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons dared not take the initiative to make a move.

This made Lu Fan feel guilty. [I’ve been too neglectful of these two… I’ve never treated them as my companions…]

Lu Fan thought for a moment, then took out another piece of roasted meat from his Inventory and came to the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons’ side.

“Hey, would you two like to eat together with us?”

Being asked like this by Lu Fan, the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons were clearly surprised. They looked at Lu Fan, then looked at each other, never having imagined they would receive such treatment – being able to eat fragrant meat just like their three ‘Big Sisters’.

At once, the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons became a bit shy.

Lu Fan could not help but laugh, thinking that after becoming Pure Blood Giant Dragons, these two Dragons’ intelligence had really significantly improved. It was not much worse than his three ‘Daughters’.

In the future, he could no longer treat them as mere tools, not anymore.

[At the very least, I should treat them like they are my Adopted Sons, right?]

“Come on, don’t be polite. You both contributed in that battle, eat something and take a break!” As Lu Fan spoke, he tossed the roasted meat into the air, which was immediately caught by one Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons in his mouth.

However, he did not immediately swallow. Instead, he let the other Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon bite the other half off. It was only after both Brothers had their portion that they began to chow down.

On the other side, Xiao Ye had already finished her roasted meat and began eyeing Xiao Cui’s roasted meat. The two Dragons naturally started fighting again.

Seeing this scene, Lu Fan could not help but sigh, [Compared to the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, Xiao Ye still needed to learn a lot about how she can get along with her Family…]

After separating Xiao Ye and Xiao Cui, Lu Fan gave another piece of roasted meat to the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, letting them properly savour their meat and resolve their cravings.

Their bodies were huge and they had no Infant Form, so two pieces of roasted meat were far from enough for them.

Still, the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons were already more than satisfied, showing great affection towards Lu Fan.

While interacting with the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, Lu Fan suddenly thought of something very important.

[After the Flying Dragon Kings evolved into Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon, they gained an additional Skill called Fallen Corpse Control. The effect of this Skill is the ability to resurrect corpses or carcasses that had died within two hours, turning them into Fallen Corpse Puppets controlled by the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragon.]

Lu Fan had not allowed the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons to come out and fight before, so naturally there had not been a chance to use this Skill.

But now, with so many dead Monsters around, Lu Fan wondered if he could let the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons try to turn all the Monsters into Fallen Corpse Puppets?

As Lu Fan thought of this, his eyes lit up.

The Dark Castle had mostly been destroyed beyond recognition, either torn to pieces or turned to cinders. Lu Fanwas also not sure if these corpses could be turned into Fallen Corpse Puppets.

Still, such a good opportunity definitely needed to be tried.

Lu Fan patted the two Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons and said with a smile. “You two, use Fallen Corpse Control and see if you can control all these Monster corpses?”

The Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons understood Lu Fan’s intentions and naturally followed his orders.

The two of them flapped their wings and flew into the air. With two roars, the black energy constantly emanating from their bodies became even thicker, almost tangible, like two black springs. This energy continuously fell to the ground and spread out.

In an instant, this black energy had already permeated every corner of the Dark Castle and began seeping outside.

Inside the Dark Castle, there were no other Monster corpses, only the Diabolical Hell Demon.

When the Diabolical Hell Demon corpse was soaked in the black energy, it showed no changes.

This disappointed Lu Fan somewhat, but after thinking about it he understood why.

The Diabolical Hell Demons’ Attributes were higher than the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons, and the Fallen Corpse Control Skill was limited to only controlling Monsters with Lower Attributes than the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons. Therefore, trying to use Fallen Corpse Control to turn Diabolical Hell Demon into a Fallen Corpse Puppet was not feasible.

However, as the black energy spread outside the Dark Castle…

At the castle entrance, the mountain of corpses killed by Lu Fan all showed movement.

The torn Monster corpses began to slowly writhe and reconnect, while the charred corpses gradually began generating new flesh and appeared whole.

It seemed every corpse was experiencing time reversal, restoring them to their appearance when alive.

Soon, Monster corpse after Monster corpse stood up, though they all had a faint black energy about them, with skin that had turned purple-black, they were now different from when they were alive.

If one used Appraisal on them, they would find their Attributes not having changed much. It was just that their names now had the suffix ‘Fallen Corpse Puppet’ to show that they were no longer in their normal state.

Lu Fan inside the Dark Castle could not see the scenes outside. But he had some perceptual connection with the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons and could sense that the Fallen Corpse Control Skill had taken effect. He could feel his control over those Fallen Corpse Puppets through the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons.

At the same time, Lu Fan could sense that the number of Fallen Corpse Puppets was particularly high. Without a doubt, almost all the Monsters from the Dark Castle had been resurrected and controlled by the Fallen Corpse Magic Dragons.

Lu Fan ordered the Fallen Corpse Puppets outside to enter the castle, and moments later, countless Fallen Corpse Puppets poured in.

Flying Earth Demons, Demonic Bloodthirsty Bats, Two-Headed Ogres and other Monsters were all present. In fact, there were too many to count.

Moreover, even Bosses like the War Drummer and Demon General were among them!

Lu Fan had practically resurrected and converted all the Monsters in the Dark Castle for his own use!

Lu Fan was overjoyed. Just having this Demon Army meant he could Level while lying in the Dark Castle.

He could send the Demon Army out to kill monsters and the other representatives while he comfortably lay in the Dark Castle collecting Experience Points and points.

[Wouldn’t that be wonderful? In this entire National Trial Secret Realm, I doubt many can resist this Demon Army. Moreover, these Fallen Corpse Puppets could be remotely controlled and stored in my Puppet Sub-Space! Which means that when the National Trial Secret Realm ends, I would be able to take out the entire Demon Army with me!]

At that time, if Lu Fan wished, he could make the history of the Nine Hell Demons rampaging in Extremistis Country repeat itself!

To recreate the Nine Hell Demons in the National Trial, Extremistis Country must have invested huge amounts of materials in constructing this Secret Realm. Otherwise, it would not have been possible to replicate the Nine Hell Demons.

But now, after Extremistis Country invested so many materials, Lu Fan ended up gaining one of the Nine Hell Demon’s Army. If Jin Zaian found out, he would probably vomit blood!

Lu Fan was feeling extremely pleased by this, but also somewhat disappointed.

After all, the leader of this Demon army — the Diabolical Hell Demon — could not be controlled by Fallen Corpse Control due to its High Attributes.

Without being able to control the Diabolical Hell Demon, this Demon Army would always be missing something.

[Damn it! I have to find a way to resurrect the Diabolical Hell Demon and turn it into a Fallen Corpse Puppet too!]
