Chapter 203, Flaming Meteor Sword

Translator: Silavin

Upon learning that his Senior Sister had left something for him, Lu Fan was naturally curious. After hanging up the phone, he immediately rushed from the Arena to the Prosperous Heaven Auction House.

During this time, the Shadow Guards naturally followed at a distance, ensuring Lu Fan’s safety.

Arriving at the Prosperous Heaven Auction House, Lu Fan saw Du Yaqiu waiting at the entrance from afar.

“Sister Du!” Lu Fan put away the Flying Dragon King’s Bone Wings and stepped forward to greet her.

Seeing Lu Fan, Du Yaqiu’s face lit up with a smile as she walked a few steps to welcome him. “Little Brother, you’ve arrived at a record time.”

Lu Fan smiled and said, “Who is Sister Du waiting for here?”

Du Yaqiu smiled and said. “Of course I’m waiting for you. You’re an honoured guest of our Prosperous Heaven Auction House. When you come here, shouldn’t I personally receive you? Come and follow me. I’ve prepared a VIP Box upstairs, and the items are ready for you to collect.”

Learning that Du Yaqiu was specially waiting for him, Lu Fan felt flattered.

With Du Yaqiu’s warm invitation, Lu Fan naturally followed her into the Prosperous Heaven Auction House. At the same time, Lu Fan did not forget to ask Du Yaqiu to help accommodate the Shadow Guards following him.

Although Lu Fan did not need to worry about them, he personally could not treat them as if they did not exist.

Du Yaqiu knew that Lu Fan was a representative of Dragon Country, and these guards were here to protect his safety. She naturally did not neglect them. She had a few staff members of the Prosperous Heaven Auction House lead them to a lounge to rest.

After entering the Prosperous Heaven Auction House, Lu Fan clearly noticed that there were many more people in the auction house compared to his last visit. Every floor was crowded with people.

So, he casually talked about it, “Sister Du, your auction house’s business seems to be getting better and better. There are so many people here today.”

Du Yaqiu, while leading the way, explained, “This is all thanks to you. Ever since you sold us the Dragon Egg Item Panel, not just Dragon Capital, but the whole Dragon Country has been in uproar. Our Prosperous Heaven Auction House is now recognized as the number one auction house in Dragon Country. Every day, countless people choose to trade here. There are even many people who come from elsewhere, specifically just to see your Dragon Egg Item Panel in person. It can be said that your single Item Panel has elevated our auction house’s reputation to the clouds. That’s why I said earlier that you’re our auction house’s honoured guest.”

Lu Fan was taken aback. “My Dragon Egg Item Panel has brought about such great benefits to the auction house?”

Lu Fan thought back on how he still had a Blue Dragon King’s Dragon Egg in his possession, which Item Panel he could also sell to the Prosperous Heaven Auction House.

However, after some thought, Lu Fan decided not to do so.

If he sold it to the Prosperous Heaven Auction House again, Du Yaqiu would not be able to afford it. He would probably just be able to exchange it for another auction item per month.

Lu Fan did not need that many things from the auction house. Furthermore, if he exposed that he could always obtain Dragon Eggs, it would likely lead to a lot of trouble down the road.

[It is enough to expose the Item Panel of one Dragon Egg. For the Blue Dragon King Dragon Egg, best to discreetly hatch it.]

Soon, Du Yaqiu and Lu Fan arrived at a VIP Box upstairs. Shortly after, another staff member brought up two boxes and placed them on the table in front of Lu Fan and Du Yaqiu.

Du Yaqiu sat across from Lu Fan, her every smile and frown was full of mature charm. She said to Lu Fan, “These are the things Xian’er left for you. They’re all yours. It seems that among them, there’s also a letter Xian’er had left for you. You can take a look yourself.”

Lu Fan nodded, while opening the box, he asked. “Sister Du, do you know when Senior Sister will return?”

Du Yaqiu smiled and said, “Who knows? I’m not very clear about what happened in her Family, but it doesn’t seem to be a small matter. I think when she returns, she’ll come to find you first.”

At this point, Lu Fan had already opened the first, slightly larger box.

What was in this box was actually a piece of equipment – a bright red long sword.

Unlike the Black Dragon Scale Greatsword, this sword belonged to the one-handed sword category. The blade was slender and looked extremely agile.

The blade of this long sword was bright red all over, emitting a glow that looked like a red-hot branding iron. As soon as the box was opened, Lu Fan could feel a wave of heat hitting his face.

As for the hilt, it was slightly more rustic and crude, without much decorative patterns. It was simply made of polished black metal of unknown origin. When Lu Fan grasped it, he found it fit his hand perfectly.

As Lu Fan picked up this sword, the fire light on the blade clearly became brighter with Lu Fan’s movements, just like a burning piece of charcoal would glow brighter when waved around.

Just by holding this sword, Lu Fan clearly felt that it seemed to be tailor-made for him. The Black Dragon Scale Greatsword could not compare to it at all.

Lu Fan took a look at the sword’s Attributes and was even more delighted.

Flaming Meteor Sword (Platinum Grade)
Level Requirement: 30

Strength +256

Agility +204

Additional Trait: When using Fire Element Skills, Skill Power increases by 50%. Can absorb 50% of Fire Element Skill’s damage and store it in the sword.

Additional Skill: Flux Flame Enchantment (Active Skill) – Enchants the Flaming Meteor Sword with stored Fire Element damage, causing additional damage equal to the stored damage on the next attack.

[This is a Platinum Grade sword, which gives me a +460 points in Attributes. This is great. It can definitely be considered a top-quality sword. At the same time, this sword has an Additional Trait of storing damage from Fire Element Skills, allowing me to unleash everything once I activate its Additional Skill.]

[Seems like in the future, the flames from Xiao Ye’s Great Cataclysm will no longer go to waste. After burning monsters, the Flaming Meteor Sword can be used to collect the flames, in preparation to be used for the Flux Flame Enchantment.]

Lu Fan could already imagine that in the future, when he strikes with this sword, the strike would contain half the power of Great Cataclysm. [Who could block such a strike?]

Although Lu Fan currently does not personally have any Fire Element Dragon Language Magic Skills, when he enters his Riding State, Lu Fan shares his Attributes with Xiao Ye. Thus, the Passive of the Flaming Meteor Sword should enhance all of Xiao Ye’s Fire Element Skills as well.

[This means that Xiao Ye’s Fire Skills’ damage will increase by another 50% in the future! How terrifyingly powerful!]

More importantly, Lu Fan felt that this sword was incredibly compatible with him. This compatibility was not reflected through Attributes. It made Lu Fan feel as if this sword was tailor-made for him, making it very comfortable to use.

Possibly seeing that Lu Fan really liked this weapon, Du Yaqiu honestly admitted, “This sword was forged for you by a top master craftsman that Xian’er found over the past month. It’s actually the same master craftsman who forged the Heaven Incinerator Staff back then.”

Hearing this, Lu Fan was greatly surprised. “The same master craftsman who forged this sword has previously created an Epic Grade weapon!?”
