The tactical discussion had already turned into a debate over whether it was necessary to risk being ambushed by the Three Major Schools and the Longxing Association by mobilizing the forces from surrounding port cities to reinforce Central City via the Space Port. This debate, in fact, had already broken the baseline of the battle plan previously formulated by Feiler. Before the battle, no one expected the Northern Alliance to be forced by the bandit army to this extent.

”Our armored forces in Central City are seriously insufficient now. Although the enemy only has fifty Mecha units, their fighting power is enough to rival a fully-staffed Armored Group. This is something we must face squarely. We cannot care about the gain or loss of one city or one place. We must have the determination to cut off the wrist and dispatch the garrison troops from Xianlong Port, Lille Port, and Oslo Port to reinforce Central City. Even if we lose these port cities, as long as we can eliminate the bandit army, it is worth it. What is lost, we can take back again!” A young Combat Staff member said loudly.

”I agree to draw the stationed troops from the surrounding ports,” another staff member said. ”However, we cannot mobilize the forces from Oslo Port and Xianlong Port. These two ports are under the threat of the Longxing Association, and once occupied, it will be very difficult to take them back. I think simply deploying the three infantry groups and two armored groups from Lille Port will be enough to deter the enemy who is eager for Central City.”

”I disagree.” A staff member who opposed couldn’t hold back and retorted loudly. ”Although our army has suffered some losses, overall, we are still at an advantage. The bandit army can at most damage our defense system, but in total, we still have nine fully mechanized infantry groups, armored forces, four companies from Blood Shadow First Battalion, and three armored camps consolidated from the Mechanical Infantry Division in Central City. More importantly, within a 24-hour radius around us, there is no force capable of threatening our core defense area. And after 24 hours, even if the Longxing Association sends troops and the Three Major Schools collectively attack Central City, we will have taken Puluo Town by then!”

For a time, the supporters and opponents, the staff members held firm to their opinions. Feiler and Selwal frowned, looking silently at the electronic map.

Suddenly, a staff member arguing with someone shouted loudly: ”Returning troops at this time, even though it exceeds the baseline of the original battle plan, is absolutely necessary. Although theoretically, only fifty Mecha units of the bandit army took down the First Airport, it is just like other places, burning, looting, without being trapped there defending, but what if they collaborate with the Longxing Association? What if the Longxing Association’s Army is delivered to the First Airport through the Space Port...”

The staff member stopped abruptly.

”How is it possible... all Space Ports connecting the First Airport are under our fleet’s control...” the staff member arguing with him continued to retort, suddenly as if realizing something, opened his mouth but couldn’t say anything further...

A dreadful thought struck everyone.

Selwal, whose face changed drastically, turned to the communication staff beside him and shouted: ”Connect me to the fleet!”

”Yes!”

”Chief Staff.......”

The communication staff’s response and the shout from another staff member who suddenly stood up at the central control platform rang out almost simultaneously.

Feiler turned his head arduously, looking at the staff who had already changed expression.

”The Longxing Association Fleet has launched simultaneous attacks on our 13 and 15 Space Ports......Currently, the 13 Space Port has already fallen!”

Prophetic words!

The entire Northern Alliance Command Center fell into deadly silence.
