Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 431: Volume 5 Chapter 39 Beating Hard

The boarding method for the [Divine] Mecha is quite special. The drop-shaped cockpit located at the chest is not fixed; it can move up and down. When the Mecha is half-kneeling, the pilot only needs to back into the cockpit, which opens like a shell, gently wrapping around the pilot before ascending to the chest.

Fatty is full of praise for this design. In critical moments, this boarding method is clearly more convenient and safer than climbing up and then squeezing into the cockpit.

As the seat automatically moved into the depths of the Mecha’s chest cavity, Fatty looked at the seamless fusion of the instruments and split-control platform closing in front of him and praised again. Truly deserving of being a Level 10 Mecha, even the Universal Control Stick and Virtual Keyboard automatically adjusted to his reach.

”Tsk tsk, look at this, now this is an advanced intelligent Mecha!” Fatty grabbed the smart auxiliary helmet hanging in front of him with one hand and tossed a metal ball onto the control platform with the other: ”Hurry up, analyze this Mecha from top to bottom for me! Learn from these smart gadgets. Do you dare call yourself the world’s number one Artificial Intelligence? First, design a comfortable smart cockpit for me.”

The titanium alloy surface of the metal ball cracked open into three hexagonal patterns like those on a soccer ball. With a ”zing,” a mechanical head and two miniature mechanical arms popped up simultaneously—this was the new mobile body of the little kid. Although its intelligent core was with [Logic], it did not affect its ability to run around with Fatty via network or wireless data transmission.

Ordinary people certainly cannot steal data and information from this Mecha, and even the top Mechanical Scholars cannot obtain the secrets of the Mecha without laboratory equipment.

Forget analysis; they don’t even have the opportunity to enter the Mecha’s interior.

However, a strategist who feigns passivity and an Artificial Intelligence can entirely pull this off. The appearance of the little kid clearly meant that Douglas and Newson fell prey to Fatty’s trick.

The little kid ignored Fatty, its electronic eyes shining brightly. It eagerly inserted the miniature mechanical arm into the Mechanical Computer’s data interface, showing a face full of lascivious pleasure.

A minute later, this [Divine] Mecha, like a woman who had abandoned all resistance, stripped off all her clothes, naked in front of two thieves.

Adjusting the holographic glasses in front of his right eye helmet to confirm the normalcy of the Mecha’s basic data, Fatty ignored the little kid continuing its conquest. He pulled the control stick, and with the high-speed roar of the engine, the Mecha stood up abruptly.

This battle is more attention-grabbing than the first one.

Fatty has become a Myth for many Freedom Front Soldiers and all Leray Warriors. His direct confrontation with Level 9 Mecha Warriors, what could be more thrilling?

Among the Independent Army Soldiers and Feiyang Republic elite Mechanical Soldiers, a small portion had watched the Leray’s War of Nations propaganda films. They hoped to verify firsthand whether this Hero was genuine or not.

More were shocked by the sudden formidable eruption of the [Hunter] in the first match, transforming this shock naturally into anticipation for the next match. So, when the two [Divine] Mechas stepped into the central arena, everyone held their breath.

Not only the attending officers and soldiers were watching the match but also Bonnie in the distant ragged [Magic Beast] cockpit. She gently bit her red lips with her white teeth, a blush appearing on her cheeks. Her eyes were full of a mix of joy, embarrassment, and tears as she stared intently at the images captured by the Mecha’s long-range viewer.

”Can we start now?” Newson, piloting the golden version [Divine], politely inquired.

The black [Divine] stood at attention, striking a strange pose with its hands clasped before its lower abdomen, affirmatively saying, ”Yes...” Newson smiled slightly and suddenly started. But then, the black [Divine] bent over, nodded as if giving a ceremonial bow of a missing ethnic group, sincerely said, ”Can... we wait?”

The golden [Divine] rushed to stop, appearing as if seriously injured by Inner Strength backlash.

”I apologize for the inconvenience!” The black [Divine] bowed twice more: ”Please give me a moment to adapt to the control.” It solemnly bowed thrice.

Amidst the mixed curses from both friendly and enemy spectators, Fatty reluctantly aborted his endless bowing idea. The black [Divine] stretched its legs, bent its waist, stiffly dithering for a while. Finally, upon hearing the little kid’s proud ”All set!” Fatty’s Mecha workout ceased.

At the moment the black [Divine] stopped, everyone felt a suffocating sensation, as if a fierce killing intent pervaded the Mecha.

”Hey, I say, this Mecha is malfunctioning...” Fatty shouted at Newson: ”Forget it, start!”

As soon as he finished speaking, during the golden [Divine]’s brief hesitation, Fatty shamelessly launched a sudden attack. The pent-up frustration from hearing Bonnie being teased released in one breath!

Among the exclamations of the Feiyang Soldiers, it was clear that at this moment, the black [Divine] was without the slightest hint of control unfamiliarity!

The Mecha drew a sharp arc in the air, swiftly shooting towards the golden [Divine]. Immediately, its stormy fists transformed into a dazzling cluster of light, fiercely raining down on the golden [Divine].
