Chapter 427: Volume 5 Chapter 35 Unrestrained_2

Maybe they felt like it was pointless for the Leray people to train with such Mecha, and given how crowded the training ground was, the Feiyang Special Group arrogantly crossed the boundary and took over part of the field without even saying a word.

Bonnie, who had been supervising the training and collecting data on the side, immediately frowned and told the Feiyang soldiers to retreat.

Who knew, these Feiyang soldiers, who hadn’t seen a woman for a long time, were mesmerized by Bonnie’s beauty. Whistles started coming one after another, mixed with some flirtatious remarks. Coincidentally, a Lieutenant Guzman from the Feiyang Special Group was nearby, supervising with a few confidential secretaries and female staff officers from the unit’s headquarters. They were all amused by the whistling.

This completely infuriated the Leray bunch of old hooligans.

Bonnie didn’t say a word, left the training ground with a blank expression. As soon as she left, the Leray hooligans began their retaliation, expanding their training area tit for tat, and their mouths didn’t stay idle either.

They first mocked the female officers watching from the side, righteously criticizing them for having no breasts or butts, fainting at a glance, dying at two, needing to cover their faces just to have sex, sounding like a pig during climax, making any man who got close want to silence them forever out of sheer embarrassment.

Meanwhile, the Feiyang soldiers were described as men with low sexual capability, causing long-term sexual frustration in women. They were mocked for having contests about who could get an erection the fastest, with the record being three seconds, and living their entire lives wishing they had someone else’s used sex doll, screaming in spasmodic nocturnal emissions like miserable men.

These hooligans feared nothing and no one, always stirring trouble. When provoked, their words were vicious, and their sentences well-constructed, their taunts were particularly venomous.

The warriors of the Second Armored Division’s Special Group were usually quite domineering themselves, but they had never faced such attacks before. In just ten minutes, the men were verbally bashed until they were drenched in insults, and the women ran away in tears.

Feiyang Lieutenant Platoon Leader Guzman, having lost face, couldn’t suppress his anger any longer. Seeing Leray Second Lieutenant Aristotle cursing joyfully, he charged forward with a punch.

Who knew, the bandit army was used to fights and was prepared. As soon as he moved, two Mechas stepped forward to shield their comrades, while the hooligans from behind lunged at Guzman, pressing him down and showering him with punches.

Seeing their brother suffer, the Second Armored Division’s Special Group immediately rushed forward in a fury. Two Mechas tried to pull away the Leray Mechas blocking them, but the Leray men were ready. Quickly, four more Mechas surrounded them, pulling and pushing, flipping the training Mechas without weapon systems or energy shields onto the ground.

At this point, other soldiers from both sides also joined in.

With more people, it became difficult to continue fighting. It was still the army after all, and no one dared to risk a court-martial by escalating the situation. Both sides ended up in a standoff. The fact remained that the Feiyang soldiers had taken the worst of it. What drove them mad was that the Leray reinforcements, without understanding anything, began cursing them immediately. There wasn’t a decent person among them, every insult sharper than the other, as if rapid-firing machine guns. Any one of them could hold their own in a verbal fight, making the Feiyang soldiers turn red in the face and tremble with rage.

It was Newson, the Special Group’s captain, who reported to Douglas. Protecting their own was natural for a military commander, so Newson didn’t provide a fair account of the incident. Thus, what Douglas heard was Leray’s behavior after Bonnie left, without mentioning the Special Group’s earlier misconduct.

From the scene, it was clear who had suffered. Seeing Fatty trying to slip away, Douglas, both angry and anxious, spoke out to stop him.

Fatty’s expression turned cold, then switched to a simple, honest look with a forced smile. He asked, ”General Douglas, is there any other advice?”

Douglas replied sternly, ”General Tian, although this is our first cooperation, we are all part of the Southeast Expeditionary Army now. In the interest of fairness, whoever made a mistake should be punished. This incident not only affects unity but could also undermine our mutual trust on the battlefield.”

He swept his gaze coldly over the Leray Warriors: ”If mistakes were made, no one should be protected!”

This carried a persistent tone, making it awkward for Fatty who was known to defend his men.

Yet Fatty remained unfazed, generously waving his hand, ”I understand, General Douglas, strict impartiality means not protecting anyone. But this was a small conflict, we took the loss. The soldiers are aggrieved, but we’re all one family in the end.”

Seeing Fatty still dodging the issue, Douglas, in rage, stopped beating around the bush, ”Sorry, General Tian, I mean your subordinates.”

”My subordinates?” Fatty’s expression was full of drama—shock, innocence, grievance, sorrow, anger—all at once: ”How can you say that, everyone saw what happened!” He glanced at the Independent Army and Freedom Fighters: ”Isn’t that right?”

”Yes, yes.” The Independent Army wouldn’t dare provoke these hooligans, and the Freedom Fighters were often subjected to their harsh training, so, considering their future, they hastily nodded: ”We all saw it, the brothers of the Nineteen Division didn’t fight back or curse back. They’re good!”

Douglas snorted coldly: ”For the facts, you’d better ask your subordinates yourself!”

”Wait!” Fatty never fought an unprepared battle, pulling Aristotle aside: ”Tell me honestly, what happened? Don’t try to gloss over anything.”

Aristotle meticulously recounted the entire sequence of events, focusing particularly on Bonnie being harassed, while downplaying any instigating behaviors. Hearing this, Fatty’s anger flared up, and an unyielding sense of justice surged within him.

Knowing Bonnie’s proud character, she was always reserved to others. Yet now, beside him, she was like a gentle, understanding flower, always speaking softly, exuding a comforting and pleasant demeanor. Fatty had never been treated like this before, and now someone dared to bully Bonnie. That was intolerable.

With his naturally protective temperament, even if his hooligans caused trouble, he would always back them up. This time, with justice on his side, there was no need to hold back.
