Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 387: Volume 5, Chapter 17: The Infiltrator

In fact, making such a plan was not too difficult for Fatty, primarily thanks to his unique deduction method.

This ancient Eastern deduction method, which encompassed countless messy studies, might be difficult to learn, but it was very fast and convenient to use. Especially in calculations, when other schools of thought still needed to use known intelligence to calculate the enemy’s combat power, weaponry, mobility, and coordination capabilities, this deduction method had already provided the answer.

The answer was not specific data, but symbols that replaced the data. These symbols were so numerous and complex that everyone who encountered this deduction method was daunted by it. In this world, only this mentally abnormal Fatty would go all out to memorize all these seemingly absurd and scientifically unfounded symbols.

When these symbols replaced all the information on the combat terrain, deployment situation, army composition, weaponry, and combat power analysis of the engaged parties, the final deduction result could be obtained based on the relationships of addition, subtraction, mutual generation, mutual restraint, restriction, and balance among the symbols in the deduction method.

In the final deduction, these symbols would, following the fixed formulas established by the deduction method, form a rotating circle, like a snake biting its own tail. When this snake devoured all the symbols representing the known intelligence conditions and ultimately formed a sphere with its mouth meeting the back of its head, the deduction was complete.

Conversely, if there were more than two symbols remaining at the end of the calculation, and these two symbols could not mutually restrain or consume each other, it meant that there was an error in the deduction, as the logic did not hold, and the final result could not be obtained.

For ordinary people, this was a complex and tedious deduction method, almost like a fairy tale. But Fatty was proficient in it. He had performed this deduction thousands of times, using it to analyze historical famous battles and detailed combat events known to Leray. The final results of these deductions were almost always consistent with the actual battle trends.

During the time Fatty stayed at the Miloke frontline command, he spent all his time doing deduction calculations and reviewing combat plans. In terms of efficiency, no one in the entire Combat Staff Department was faster than him. Coupled with Russell’s devilish training, devising a small-scale battle plan for two regiments, in his own words, was as easy as standing to pee.

Bonnie had known for a long time that the failure of the Gazalin Army at Miloke was not just due to Russell’s betrayal and Fatty’s sudden brilliance. When coincidences happen repeatedly, they are no longer coincidences. Post-war intelligence gave considerable evaluations of Fatty’s command and battle analysis capabilities, with some even asserting that this guy, who dared to mock Stephen, was the brightest new star the Leray Federation had emerged during the war.

However, even with such evaluations, Bonnie now believed they still underestimated what else this Fatty was capable of.

The combat plan in front of her further proved Fatty’s military talent. Judging by Bonnie’s standard as a regiment commander and her rich military experience, she could not find a single flaw in this plan.

Fatty had considered all the details. The attack steps were refined to each squad, including terrain utilization, attack routes, timing of maneuvers, coordination between squads, electronic attack steps of the electronic mechas, and firepower configuration of the medium and heavy mechas, all explained in great detail.

This was not a combat plan; it was a manual for using a battle machine! From start to finish, the time, steps, speed, routes, rhythm, and contingency plans—everything you could think of—Fatty had thought of and formulated a plan for.

Moreover, no matter how you looked at it, this seemingly formal and rigorous plan was filled with an incredible lewdness and an extremely vicious demeanor. In every aspect, Fatty’s plan was designed to make the enemy uncomfortable, miserable, and utterly disgusted!

Look at this plan. According to it, this damned Fatty’s troops always showed up at the most inconvenient times and places for the enemy.

For example, just when the enemy was about to achieve victory, they would stab in, like a hotel manager suddenly entering and cleaning the room as if ignoring two people at the climax. Or, just when the enemy had paid a significant price and was about to successfully defend, they would stab again like a woman being raped, about to successfully resist, only to have a bystander suddenly help force open her legs.

Numerous squads executed the same sinister, venomous, and shameless tasks—hit and run, drag hind legs, interrupt pressure, sow discord, act irrationally, and resort to both deception and theft.

This made people want to beat that damned Fatty up and ask if he would ever let people live, and how he turned such vicious methods into routine tactics!

No wonder, when attacking Osullivan’s regiment, Fatty’s troops pinpointed the location, timing, and battlefield situation so precisely from start to finish, not giving Osullivan any chance. Presumably, that was also a plan devised by Fatty!
