Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 358: 5 Volumes 6 Chapters Fearless Duel_2

If it weren’t for their faith crumbling, if it weren’t for the fatal flaw of the [Vajra], trying to achieve such a significant battle result with a sneak attack by two regiments was something unthinkable in the past!

With this regiment lost, the Mythical Army still has four regiments and sixteen camps!

The bandit army, wanting to survive under the nose of the monster Mythical Army in Mezrich, must defeat it head-on and become a force fiercer than the Mythical Army!

Fatty simultaneously recalled the Leray prisoners who charged at [Demon Tiger]; the Leray people love life but do not fear death. They are optimistic and innately possess a kind of indifference to everything in the face of suffering.

When this heroism is unearthed, every Leray warrior is a lion!

At this moment, the communications channel in the bandit army’s region seemed somewhat chaotic.

Fatty pressed the communication button and said coldly: ”Aren’t they just trying to keep us engaged, pretending to be so impassioned! An undestroyable army? The Leray Federation has sixty-three divisions that all died on the front lines!”

The communication channel abruptly fell silent. Fatty pulled the control lever, and [Magic Beast] handed the red banner to the flag-guarding Mecha’s hands, ordering, ”Torick!”

”Here!”

”The direct subordinate Sharp Blade Camp follows me, crush the remaining enemy forces head-on!”

”Yes!”

Indeed, Leray people never lack the courage for head-on confrontations!

***

The restless Desic people suddenly became deadly silent.

Because, before them, the Leray Mecha forces holding the red banner began to move.

The tattered [Magic Beast] charged out first, leading the way, and behind him, hundreds of previously hidden Leray Mecha rushed out from behind the horizon of the hill, rolling down like a tidal wave in three sharp assault formations from the top of the hill.

They didn’t even glance at the Desic people beside them.

They swaggered out, surging forward under the dumbfounded gaze of the Desic Mecha Group, crossing the front of the Desic forces with a silent but fierce posture to meet the Mythical Army launching an assault from afar.

Sixty heavy [Anger] and one hundred twenty [Honor 15] were divided into two wings. They marched with heavy steps, roaring past just a few hundred meters from the main position of the Desic Mecha group. The ground trembled under their feet, this tremor traveling across the ground, reaching the feet of the Desic Mecha group, and even into their hearts!

The most shocking to all Desic warriors were the ten [Royal Banner] and three [Tide] at the end of the assault formation. When these Mechas, still bearing the insignia of the Desic 137 Armored Division, surged past them, everyone was stunned.

”Boom! Whoosh! Whoosh!” Several loud noises brought the Desic people back to reality.

In the distance, amidst the assault by Leray’s Spearhead Camp, smoke and dust billowed as several anti-air missiles soared into the sky, speeding toward the three Gazalin [Silver Eagle] fighters sweeping overhead like lightning.

The fighter jet formation in a triangular formation was forced to abandon the attack. The two jets on the sides sharply veered up after releasing decoy missiles like kites in a gale, while the leading jet was caught off guard and hit by two missiles consecutively, leaving a trail of thick smoke as it spun and exploded in mid-air, its debris scattering to the ground in flames.

”Steady, accurate, ruthless!”

This was Dafu’s assessment of the Leray people’s anti-air attack. He clearly saw that before the three [Silver Eagle] fighters swooped down, not a single Leray Mecha deployed a stabilizing frame. They simply formed a triangular support calmly and launched the anti-air missiles after the enemy was almost at the limit of their attack range.

And the Leray Mecha not responsible for anti-air duties never missed a beat; they didn’t even look up at the sky.

The anti-air firepower, blooming like plum blossoms within the formation, was dense and precise. If not for the two quickly reacting Gazalin fighters on the easily maneuverable flanks, all three fighters might not have escaped this wave of ruthless anti-air retaliation.

Staring dumbly down at the Gazalin and Leray people launching assaults against each other, Dafu suddenly felt a pang of unease in his heart. He didn’t know how many teams in the self-claimed military power of Desic could be as valiant as these two forces before him.

In the sky, several Desic fighter jets circled the airspace above the 191st Division, as if influenced by their ground companions, hesitating over whether to strike.

With the high-speed assault of the direct subordinate Sharp Blade Camp, the SM Regiment that had been in front of them suddenly shifted left in a straight line, while the SM Second Regiment looped to the right.

From an aerial view, the three parts of the bandit army coordinated exceptionally well. In front of the direct subordinate Sharp Blade Camp’s spear-like high-speed assault, the two Leray Mecha groups parted like water waves. As the Sharp Blade Camp cut in, these two Mecha groups, which were just engaging the Mythical Army, quickly turned around, completely detaching from the Mythical Army.

Having turned around, they did not slow down; on the contrary, they began their assault. One on the left, one on the right, like a giant pincer!

Without a sound, the cannons pivoted, aiming precisely at the bewildered Desic Mecha Group.

Rashid grinned menacingly.

This bunch of clueless Desic fools, in this world, it’s either you kill or get killed; there’s no relaxed bystander on the battlefield. Wanting to fish in troubled waters or merge with reinforcements while conserving strength, damn it, isn’t that plan too finely calculated!

No matter how you calculate, can it beat that cunning Fatty full of clever ideas?

A camp that doesn’t join the battle, merely posturing from behind, tied down the Desic people.

During the Mythical Army’s imminent action, launching assaults from both wings, they exploited penetration to divide them, preventing them from forming their typical water-wave cross-coordination, then exploiting their Mecha’s flaws to swiftly destroy their confidence, defeating them one by one using superior numbers.

Everything is going according to Fatty’s simulation! The development of the entire battle situation is just like the simulation map seen a few hours ago on that [Magic Beast] mechanical computer, exactly the same!

As for calculations, Russell’s apprentice is simply a genius! Furthermore, he completely inherits Russell’s trait of always having a backup plan if the strategy fails, extraordinarily adept at going with the flow.

The only exception Fatty didn’t forecast was the assault launched by the remnants of the Mythical Army!

The assault by the Mythical Army even briefly encouraged the Desic people.

This made Fatty somewhat indignant.

Given Fatty’s stingy nature, he was reluctant to use his most elite Sharp Blade Camp to counter the whole-group assault of the Desic. Therefore, when he noticed the Desic people becoming restless, he ran! Taking his Sharp Blade Camp, he abandoned the task of holding the Desic people.

Yes, he fled. It looked like a damn heroic counterattack, but in reality, Rashid knew, it was a pick-the-soft-target style retreat. Bullying those suicidal [Vajra] was more enjoyable.

As for the task of holding the Desic people, he utterly solved it with a cross-position switch!

”Play the fool!”

The two triumphant Rogue Mecha Groups howled and charged furiously at the dumbfounded Desic people.

*****

”Kill!”

The direct subordinate Sharp Blade Camp and the remnant forces of the Myth simultaneously accelerated their charge.

The vanguards of both sides clashed like two floods colliding, lifting a thousand waves. Mechas fell one after another in the fierce frontal confrontation, and behind them, thousands more Mechas crossed each other like open hands with ruthless force.
