Chapter 386: Volume 5 Chapter 16 Change of Plans_3

This map shows the general situation that the bandit army’s reconnaissance mechas can observe. Due to the electronic camouflage and shielding of these three regiments, the bandit army cannot rely on electronic mechas to obtain more information, and the Reconnaissance Soldiers do not dare to get too close to scout.

Fatty frowned deeply because he strongly disagreed with the attack posture of Gazalin’s 91th Armored Division. Fighting this way is essentially ignoring the weak and attacking the strong. According to the defensive deployment of the base, the 91th Division will definitely be unable to end the battle before the base communication interference is cleared. That would mean the news of the base being attacked will bring in a large number of reinforcements.

More importantly, with this commotion, the bandit army will no longer have a chance to take down this base.

”What do we do now?” Rashid asked, a question he and Stewart had been troubled by for a long time, unable to come up with a solution.

Because they knew, in Fatty’s plan, Gordon’s faction was the primary cooperation target for the growth of the Freedom Front. These pure soldiers were much cleaner politically than Reinhardt and Stephen. From the current situation, only they had no ambitions to ascend to the Emperor’s throne. Such a force could potentially become the foundation of the Federation system.

As for Stephen, who has a secret agreement with Leray, the bandit army does not trust him. Not to mention everything that happened before, just from the current situation of the Leray Federation, Stephen would not comply. The Leray Federation reached an agreement with him only to prevent the Desic Empire from completely controlling this country.

Even if the Federation and Stephen truly cooperated to win the war, they would immediately turn against each other. After all, only if the Freedom Front gains power would it best align with the interests of the Federation.

Faced with a future cooperation target and an important goal related to the survival and growth of the bandit army, Rashid was at his wit’s end. They couldn’t fight, and there was no way to communicate, leaving the bandit army with the only option of quietly retreating.

”We must take down this base!” Fatty made up his mind. He didn’t care who was in front of him. At worst, he’d take them all out and deal with the aftermath later. Right now, the most important thing was the survival of the bandit army. Without enough energy and weapons, the mecha couldn’t be armed for the Freedom Front, and without supplements, the bandit army wouldn’t be able to truly make an impact in the chaos of Tanville.

Fatty climbed into a [Listening] mecha and started simulations on the mechanical computer. He had to come up with an operational plan within thirty minutes to replace the previous one, so the bandit army would have time to prepare for battle before Gordon’s 91th Division launched their attack.

As time ticked by, Bonnie watched the group of regiment and battalion commanders in the temporary command post and felt baffled. She wondered what kind of simulation and command skills that damn fatty had. Why did none of these people seem worried, as if Fatty could come up with a flawless plan within thirty minutes without needing any review?

She knew that for this Leray Armored Force, they were fighting behind enemy lines without air support or reinforcements. Any mistake could lead to the destruction of the whole army! Bonnie had never seen anyone capable of producing a meticulous operational plan within thirty minutes!

Moreover, before formulating this operational plan, Fatty had to first simulate the attack posture of Gordon’s 91th Division against the base, which was the basis for the operational plan!

Bonnie lightly bit her lip. She really wanted to know what else this damn Fatty could do and see what kind of operational plan this guy would come up with!

After twenty-eight minutes of complete silence, Fatty emerged from the [Listening] mecha. Immediately, the electronic map at the command post displayed the simulation process and results from the mechanical computer, along with the formulated operational plan based on them.

The officers carefully studied the simulation and operational plan. A few minutes later, they transmitted the plan to the mechas and went their separate ways to prepare. Not one person questioned the plan. In fact, from their military knowledge and experience, there was nothing to question about this plan.

Fatty, Rashid, and Stewart discussed the details on the side, while Bonnie, standing in front of the electronic map, could no longer describe her astonishment. What appeared in front of her was a complete and even meticulously detailed operational plan involving every aspect!

Regardless of whether the simulation data was correct or if there were any flaws in the plan, just the fact that such an extensive, meticulously detailed operational plan with such precise time control was produced within twenty-eight minutes was enough to leave one dumbfounded. Moreover, this plan was completed while conducting real-time simulations, how could it not be shocking?
