Chapter 378: Volume 5 Chapter 13 Back in Time_2

Twenty kilometers away, that [Apollo] stood motionless for a while before finally turning and racing towards the northwest without any intention of looking back. That direction was where the main bandit army and Bonnie had fled three days ago!

Fatty let out a long sigh, his whole body collapsing as if paralyzed, and muttered, ”Am I dreaming?”

The little kid watched as [Apollo] left, and finally started dancing with joy, ”Haha, really, we really escaped, it’s not a dream!”

”Bullshit!... I... gotta kiss you!”

The little kid shuddered as he heard Fatty’s lewd voice in his ear, and looked in amazement to see Fatty had fallen asleep, still mumbling in his sleep.

How long that sleep lasted, Tian Xingjian didn’t know. When he finally woke up, he only felt a warmth spreading from within, making his body feel light and as if he was floating on clouds. The sensation was incredibly comfortable, tingling throughout his body, making him feel indescribably good.

Dreams could be comfortable, but this bastard kept moaning with eyes closed, the sound so lilting and lewd that the little kid wanted to kick the wretched jerk out.

When he woke up, it was already dark. He had slept until evening. It took him a while to come to his senses. Fatty suddenly realized he was filthy and stinking from three days of fleeing, sweating profusely in his sleep, making the cockpit reek.

”Damn it!” Fatty pitied himself, touching his face as he stripped off his clothes and patted the little kid monitoring SkyNet, asking, ”Check me out, did I lose weight?”

After waiting for a long time, seeing the little kid still monitoring SkyNet with a smug expression, Fatty grinned, opened the cockpit hatch, and a rush of fresh air invigorated him, making the naked fatty feel alive again.

”How about it? Where’s our team now?” After breathing in the fresh air, Fatty jumped out of the Mecha, ran a dozen meters naked, and jumped into a small river on the other side of the canyon, splashing cold, clear water over his body while shivering and yelping.

The little kid pulled up a few satellite images and said to Fatty, ”They’ve reached the designated location, less than fifty kilometers straight-line distance from the Tedanici logistics base, and are lying in wait. Also, the Freedom Front has regrouped, and one of their Mecha battalions has joined our forces...”

The Tedanici logistics base was the largest base in Gazalin, just two hundred kilometers from Tanville. This base, with two Single Soldier Mecha and one Medium-sized Mecha repair and parts assembly lines, was a key target for the Freedom Front to infiltrate and prepare an attack on, and all the data was in Fatty’s head.

This data even included four action plans.

Now, successfully attacking this base was crucial for the bandit army’s survival in Gazalin and for the Freedom Front to regain its combat power.

In Fatty’s plan, raiding this base in the Reinhardt-controlled area could provide essential supplies and the much-needed Mecha parts, and might even yield a significant number of fully assembled Mechas and weapons.

If the raid succeeded, the bandit army would then head into the complex Tanville Battlefield.

Once there, whether it was Stephen, who had a secret agreement with the Leray Federation, or Gordon, who lacked allies and combat power, both had the possibility of cooperating with the bandit army.

Integrating some forces to give the Freedom Front space and time to develop would mean Fatty’s mission was accomplished. The biggest advantage of getting there was that he might get hold of a Medium-sized Transport Ship or even a warship, to finally leave this dangerous planet!

”But...” the little kid hesitated.

”But what?” Fatty, with his naked, pale body rolling in the water, asked with a shivering voice.

”But you better care about that woman...” the little kid sighed, ”if you don’t get there soon, she might not be able to give you offspring anymore...”

”Help!” Fatty wailed, falling into the water with a splash. On hearing this, he felt he was about to collapse, ”Three days, and that stupid woman still hasn’t escaped?”

The little kid said, ”It’s the Mecha that broke down. Now, she’s walking on foot. Strangely, the guy chasing you moved the soldiers who found that Mecha. He’s searching alone nearby without using the Medium-sized Transport Ship’s bio-radar, only relying on the Mecha’s thermal scans. I don’t know why!”

The little kid’s doubt was clear to Fatty—it was simple. He knew that Reinhardt absolutely wouldn’t allow anyone in the Mythical Army to see Bonnie alive. Given Bonnie’s position and importance in the Mythical Army, anything she said about the truth of the coup would lead the Mythical Army to split!

Many actions had been personally taken by the Mythical Soldiers, and James had declared Reinhardt a traitor. If Reinhardt could cover all that up, Bonnie, his childhood sweetheart and the army’s second-in-command, would be the undeniable evidence!

Especially anything Bonnie said without any external interference or threat, the Mythical Soldiers had to believe.

”What to do?” Fatty, naked and dejected, walked next to [Logic], opened a supply box, and took out a combat uniform to wear, while thinking frantically, ”Depressing... relying on my scattered skills and [Logic]’s current state, going back to find Reinhardt would definitely be a one-way ticket. But no matter what, I have to address old number two’s conduct issues. If I just run away, it wouldn’t be very manly!”

Fatty climbed silently into the cockpit. A scene from his childhood with Ann Lei encountering a thug played in his mind once more. Such a thing should never happen to him again, even if it meant facing that terrifying [Apollo] again!

Sighing deeply in extreme depression, Fatty thought that after such a long rest, he had almost recovered his energy. There would always be a glimmer of hope if he saved her and then fled!

With that decision, he closed the cockpit and started the Mecha, conducting the routine checks. After replenishing the energy before the last battle, he still had over half left, and the Mecha retained 80% functionality. The most important part was that the transformation function was still there!

This could be his greatest asset!

As he scanned the Mecha Computer’s diagnostic data, Fatty suddenly froze. Looking at the rarely checked hand speed statistics, he was stunned: ”3250! Is the computer malfunctioning or am I seeing things?” He nudged the little kid, muttering, ”Hit me, I must be dreaming!”

”Whap!” Without hesitation, the little kid excitedly slapped Fatty across the face. Such an opportunity was something this little devil wouldn’t miss!

Fatty hissed in pain, cursing, ”Damn it! You dare hit me?”

The little kid timidly said, ”You told me to hit you!”

Fatty angrily replied, ”Bullshit, when did I tell you to hit me?” While cursing, his eyes stayed glued on that miraculous data. His hands didn’t idle either, as he backhanded a slap, knocking the little kid to the ground. Then he placed his hands in front of his eyes, incredulously saying, ”Could it be that my climax surged?” (To be continued. For more, please visit WWW.QIDIAN.COM.
