Chapter 363: Volume 5 Chapter 8 Sudden Strange Assault_2

”Boom!”

Soil splattered everywhere, and the ground was instantly blasted into a large hole!

”Dodged?” Osullivan looked at the flipping Magic Beast, a cold smile flitting across his lips, and he snorted, ”Can you really dodge?”

The walker surged forward!

It didn’t pause due to the missed punch. Instead, with the rebound from the ground, it shot forward at even higher speed, charging straight ahead!

”Damn, it’s fast!” All the warriors watching the battle widened their eyes, in their view, the walker’s straight-line charge was too fast, like a laser shooting out. In the blink of an eye, it was in front of the still airborne Magic Beast.

When the walker viciously revealed its ion light saber hidden behind it, the bandit soldiers unable to join the fray couldn’t help but close their eyes. To them, the Magic Beast, without any leverage, seemed to have no room to escape.

”Let’s see how you dodge this!” Osullivan jerked the control stick, the walker’s left leg kicked fiercely, its abdomen stretched, and its body soared into the air. Next, as its abdomen compressed forcefully, the ion light saber slashed an astonishing blue light in the black night sky, cutting down towards the Magic Beast’s head, the blade light fierce, vaguely accompanied by the sound of thunder and wind roaring!

”Ah!” A frenzied and shrill scream erupted from the battered Magic Beast. Hearing this miserable cry, every bandit soldier seemed to see Fatty’s contorted and twitching face, as if looking at his tear-filled, pitiful eyes.

At this moment, Fatty was indeed scared witless; he hadn’t expected a regiment commander of the Mythical Army to possess such terrifying power in full attack!

At the brink of life and death, every hair on Fatty’s body stood up, his desperate will to survive exploded like a bomb. With almost unconscious movements, his hands executed the ”Vertical Ladder” move that required a speed of forty-two actions per second. The Magic Beast suddenly arched its back, and the descending mecha astonishingly ascended once again!

The ion light saber slashed under the Magic Beast’s feet, narrowly missing.

”My God!”

Under all the stunned gazes and involuntary exclamations, as the auxiliary thruster abruptly activated, the Magic Beast soared into the sky like a ground-to-air missile, heading in the opposite direction and completely escaping the walker’s control zone!

The walker landed blankly, raising a cloud of dust, which diffused in the spotlight of the mecha.

Osullivan widened his eyes, staring at the mechanical hand outside the cockpit window; the ion light saber in his hand still held an attacking posture, yet the Magic Beast had once again escaped the lethal strike in an unimaginable way!

This time, Osullivan was sure he hadn’t calculated wrong. He had increased his hand speed to the limit of forty-five actions per second. With the Magic Beast’s earlier maneuver, it was absolutely impossible without fifty actions per second!

Could this guy really be a Level 9 Mecha Warrior?

As Osullivan was momentarily dazed by shock, suddenly, a trembling and chattering voice echoed:

”I’ll fight you! I’ll fight you! I’ll fight you!”

”I’ll fight you until the end!”

The voice fluctuated, ghost-like.

Osullivan abruptly lifted his head, involuntarily gasping in shock, his pupils contracted like a falcon sensing danger!

”Oh my God!”

All the warriors on both sides of the fight were stunned. In the interwoven lights, they saw clearly that after the battered Magic Beast landed far away, it didn’t stop but instead pushed off with its right leg. The mecha rebounded like a ping-pong ball off a wall, faster than a meteor, counterattacking the just-landed walker. His assault method was something no one had seen before!

The Magic Beast in the sky moved like an inflated balloon with an unsealed air outlet, its body unpredictably darting around without any pattern, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes far, sometimes near. In just an instant, it closed in on the walker, attacking chaotically, almost enveloping the walker’s entire space from front to back and side to side!

”This! This is...”

The sudden burst of killing intent from the Magic Beast froze Osullivan to the bone. Feeling immense danger, he chose to retreat without hesitation. The walker kicked its legs and swiftly flew backwards.

”Can you escape?” Never willing to suffer losses, Fatty, with reddened eyes, pulled the control stick. Logic twisted and landed in front of the walker’s side, then rapidly leapt up in the opposite direction, charging towards the walker, with its mech assault moves identical to before!

This time, to everyone’s eyes, the strange assault of the battered Magic Beast was even shorter in distance, faster, and more threatening! Compared to such a bizarrely unpredictable assault, the walker’s jumping through seemed obvious, like running in a straight line!

Osullivan could almost feel the chilling killing intent touching his back. The walker forcefully turned around, its strong mechanical leg gouged out a deep trench on the ground, the mecha’s lights waving like a crest in the dark, flying to one side.

The Magic Beast in the air dove down fiercely.

”Thud,” the sound of landing was so clear amidst the noisy battlefield! Immediately, it soared up again, using the same assault method, but this time, the distance was even shorter!
