Chapter 361: Volume 5 Chapter 7 Going It Alone_3

The Magic Beast was preparing for another sneak attack when it suddenly became alert. Fatty turned around; his long experience in wartime escapes and the sniper’s intuition told him that he was already targeted!

In the darkness, Walker’s assault was like a blinding lightning strike! In the instant when the tattered Magic Beast had just turned around, Walker’s powerful burst had already brought it in front of the Magic Beast!

The cold blue light of the ion light saber was like a soul-reaping ghost lamp, flickering as it slashed toward the waist of the Magic Beast.

Fatty was greatly shocked. He manipulated the joystick to change direction four times at the second-level engine position. Logic’s engine emitted a high-pitched screech, and the mecha shot up like a startled fish, retreating rapidly in a twisted posture!

Walker pursued closely, the eerie blue saber light suddenly swelling like an enraged light dragon!

”Mom!” Fatty broke out in cold sweat. His right hand densely tapped the mecha’s control keys like a hailstorm, achieving a hand speed of over forty actions per second. His hands moved like a phantom under the faint blue light of the virtual keyboard, issuing sixteen commands in an instant!

Logic’s twisted frame folded down like a cooked noodle in a more contorted position the moment the ion light saber nearly cleaved into its armor!

”Nice!”

Osullivan didn’t expect his attack to be countered in such a bizarre manner by his opponent. With a flip of his wrist, the ion light saber slashed upward, tracing an arc like a windmill. Walker advanced with great strides, delivering a textbook-perfect lunge aimed at the tattered Magic Beast twisted on the ground!

From a horizontal slash to a quick-as-lightning chop.

Fatty was scared out of his wits; he could tell that just the wrist maneuver of this Walker alone showcased a hand speed of at least forty-two actions per second!

”Screw you!” Fatty frantically controlled Logic to perform a lazy donkey roll evasive maneuver, cursing, ”You shameless dog, sneak-attacking asshole!” completely forgetting that he had just attempted a sneak attack himself.

”Screw you too!” Osullivan wasn’t angered at all. Given Walker’s speed and his own manipulation, once he had the upper hand, it was rare for anyone to escape from him. He said leisurely, ”I’m gonna sneak attack you!” As he spoke, the mecha twisted, and the blade of the ion light saber flashed with a cold radiance, cutting a deep, straight scar into the ground as it slashed at the tattered Magic Beast!

”I’m good, but screw your mother!” Fatty raged, as Logic suddenly leapt up like a toad from the ground and, with a weird kick in the air, missile-launched right into Walker’s chest!

The two mechas collided violently and were sent flying apart, and Fatty’s voice was still heard, ”Damn it, you dare sneak attack your daddy!”

Walker steadied itself, sword raised but silent.

No one knew the shock Osullivan felt in his heart at that moment. This was the first time he had met an opponent who, from an absolute initial advantage, had managed to fight him to a standstill. From the actions of the tattered Magic Beast, it absolutely exhibited a hand speed of fifty actions per second at that moment!

Fifty actions! This was the speed of a Level 9 warrior who had entered the rank of top mecha warriors. Now, this was displayed by this tattered Magic Beast!

Osullivan suddenly felt the mecha cockpit get bone-chillingly cold!

”Idiot! If you had just used Skillful Hand a moment ago, you could’ve easily removed the balance flying wing on his shoulder. You just wasted such a good opportunity!”

In the cockpit of the Magic Beast, the little kid pointed at Fatty, berating him with a look of utter disdain, ”I don’t even know what to say to you, are you a pig?”

”Smack!” Fatty slapped the little kid to the ground without hesitating, cursing, ”If I could use Skillful Hand, I would have done so already. Do I need you to teach me? Try doing seventy actions per second yourself!”

The little kid was left speechless, sulkily climbing back up to the control panel. He knew that if Fatty had not instinctively used the toad technique from the Seventy-two Techniques just now, he would have been slashed by that strike. Using the toad technique to transition into Skillful Hand indeed required an absolute hand speed of seventy actions per second, which was practically an impossible task for Fatty.

Fatty looked at the silently-standing Walker in front of him, laughing foolishly. He understood that the move just now needed only a speed of thirty-five actions per second, and it had shocked the Walker greatly. Using a hand speed of thirty-five actions per second to fight back against an attack speed of forty-two actions per second was a complete overturn of traditional mecha fighting!

The tattered Magic Beast clapped its hands, stretched its left leg forward, bent its right knee, and with both hands made a coquettish ballet-like gesture, taunting Walker with a finger, softly saying, ”Come, let daddy make you impotent!”
