Chapter 515: Volume 6 Chapter 18 Mechanical Knight

Vivid images were painted from Wang Datou’s words.

The boys seemed to see with their own eyes, in a battle where the few fought against the many, thousands of Leray Mechas charging into the enemy Mecha group that’s several times their size. The enemy wings had already been deployed, desperately turning to block the Leray people’s advance.

However, it was all in vain; the Leray Armored Formation broke through the enemy lines like a miracle amidst the firefight and haze, heading straight for the strike position where Reinhardt commanded.

On the lonely hill next to the formation, four Mechas, symbolizing the highest combat power of the Mythical Army, stood quietly. Like gods looking down on mortals, they ignored the roaring Leray Mechas breaking through the enemy line. They were so proud, so confident, so invincible.

But this scene of lonely arrogance was torn to shreds by a sudden charge from a Magic Beast. The four majestic lions turned into sheep under the claws of the Magic Beast. Reinhardt was defeated in a sorry state, with one of the three Legion Commanders injured and the other two dead.

The Magic Beast rampaged among the four Mechas, the brief yet intense close combat made the trainees’ blood boil.

A sword’s cold radiance illuminates nineteen states! That Leray Armored Division that broke through the enemy group several times its size with a sword strike to the throat, was the sharp sword honed by Leray in the war! And that cold radiance at the tip of the sword was the very instructor who had lived with them day and night!

The terrifying Mythical Army and their Legion Commander, Level 9 Mecha Warrior Reinhardt, were nearly invincible to the Leray Federation a few years ago. They always targeted Leray’s elite troops, and countless Leray Warriors fell before this monster.

No one expected that now, the Mythical Army and Reinhardt would be utterly defeated by the Leray Armored Force led by Fatty Instructor!

The boys were so excited that they could hardly contain themselves.

Becoming a top Mecha Warrior was almost every boy’s dream of this era! In their impression, those top Mecha Warriors from other countries, seen only in magazines and hearsay, were once so distant and unreachable.

But now, Fatty Instructor had defeated Reinhardt. Does this mean that the Leray Federation has finally given birth to a true Level 9 Mecha Warrior?

A Level 9 Mecha Warrior even more formidable than Reinhardt was the limit of the boys’ imagination. Even though they churned out the idea of a Level 10 Warrior after hearing Wang Datou’s description, no one dared to say it out loud.

After all, the Leray Federation’s army had never had a Level 9 Mecha Warrior before. Even though there were legends of one or two civilian Mechanical Knights equivalent to the military’s Level 9, no one had seen them.

Just saying Fatty Instructor was a Level 9 Mecha Warrior was enough to make anyone’s heart race. To say he was a Level 10 Warrior would be too wild.

”So awesome.” The boys were captivated by Wang Datou’s descriptions, each with flushed faces, itching for a chance to have been there, to follow Fatty Instructor and experience that blood-pumping battle.

Amidst the excitement, a freckled boy suddenly asked eagerly, ”Hey, who do you think is more powerful, our Instructor or our SM leader on the Simulated War Network?”

The boys exchanged glances, all speechless.

”What’s wrong?” The freckled boy asked in confusion, ”I think SM’s skills are very similar to Instructor’s. Plus, they are both our idols.”

”Bah!” The boys spat in unison, covering the freckled boy’s mouth with several hands. Wang Datou looked around furtively and whispered to the freckled boy pressed to the ground, ”SM has become a street rat. Even if he’s our idol, you can’t mention him in public!”

The poor freckled boy struggled desperately and wondered, ”Why can’t we mention it? Aren’t there still many die-hard defenders of the Sleazy God Sect online? Who here isn’t a follower of the Sleazy God Sect?”

Wang Datou slapped the freckled boy on the head and said sternly, ”That’s online. No matter how much we support that Leray disgrace, no one knows who we are. In real life, we are upstanding and passionate youth. Such things cannot be mentioned!”

The boys looked at the freckled boy, nodding their heads solemnly!

The freckled boy suddenly realized, cautiously asked, ”Then what if someone asks the same question?”

”Condemn! We must sternly condemn SM01314!” Wang Fuxing shook his big head and said firmly, ”Also, no matter how powerful SM might be online, how could he compare to Instructor? On the battlefield, it’d be good if he didn’t wet his pants!”

Wang Datou’s words resonated with everyone, and they all chimed in, ”Exactly! There’s no comparison at all.”

Wang Datou continued, ”When answering the question, you must despise SM from the bottom of your heart. Think about it, that guy’s usual methods are extremely despicable and vile. How many battles has he won openly and righteously? Not to mention skill, just in terms of character, Instructor and he are poles apart! One is a Leray Hero, the other... damn it, although he’s also a Leray person, I can’t help but want to curse him! Even more sinister than me!”

The boys burst into laughter. Among this group, no one was ashamed of using cunning; after all, they were a bunch of not very strong but rather self-aware kids who valued intelligence. Wang Fuxing, being the strategist of the group, often came up with nasty ideas, so being scolded by him was actually a kind of compliment.
