Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 510: Volume 6 Chapter 14 Wild Fanatic Old Man_2

Fatty helplessly closed his eyes.

”If, in the Southeast Star Region, we could have an armed force that doesn’t belong to the Fei Alliance. With the Federation’s covert support, integrating resources, we could break free from the Fei Alliance’s control. Think about it, those neutral countries that occupy a quarter of human society, the Free Star System, and those mercenaries with rich combat experience who are willing to sell their lives for money.”

”Fatty, do you want to become an overlord with an independent force?”

Fatty shivered, knowing his own limitations. Being forced to be a Major General with two regiments was already unbearable, let alone becoming an overlord? Being a minor landlord and bullying people might be more feasible.

”Fatty, Pipi can help you establish a powerful enough force. You can hide in the shadows, unrestricted, with the Federation supporting you economically and technologically in the background.”

”Fatty, if by then, we also get the new Space Jump Point Technology, and win over countries like Chuckna, then gather enterprises that are unaffiliated with the Fei Alliance and Western Alliance political system, we could have enough resources.”

”On a planet with no pirates or competitors, using artificial intelligence platforms, we can create a Federal backyard that no one can penetrate. Our families can migrate, and within a few years, Leray will have the power to deter others from easily bullying us! Unlike now, where we can only act as cannon fodder for the Feiyang Republic!”

”Earth, yes, the Earth model! Even though the resources in the Milky Way are extremely scarce now, Earth is still a paradise for pirates, mercenaries, and anarchists. Even the Binart Empire dares not touch it lightly.”

”Beauties! A whole bunch of beauties surrounding you, ready to do whatever you want... You can even spy on whoever you wish while they bathe!”

Fatty opened his eyes.

Goddamn it, thinking about it carefully, although Boswell’s words seemed far-fetched, there seemed to be a bit of truth in them!

Human society is not made of two iron plates. Many countries like Leray, Knevel, Chuckna are all strapped onto the war chariot. In imperial countries, many are also forced into war.

How many of these countries wish to see their land engulfed in war? The most crucial point is that in the struggle between two superpowers, these countries suffer enormous losses and, in the end, reap no benefits!

Why did the Binart Empire and Feiyang Republic face off in Karsdon? Everyone knows they are maintaining a tacit understanding. No matter how the war starts, it won’t begin between them. Only when their smaller allies are all dead or injured will these two hegemonies truly clash.

Besides, among the sixty-plus countries, there are nearly twenty neutral countries. These neutral countries might be remote or resource-poor, but once united, they are a formidable force.

In modern society, no country can do without the support of enterprises. These giant corporations control the noble parliaments of imperial countries and the houses of democratic countries. They can make and break situations at will. Many human wars are significantly influenced by these enterprises’ resource competitions.

In ancient times, the countless regional wars that broke out on Earth over oil, even leading to World War III, are the clearest examples!

And those enterprises without strong national military support, who wouldn’t want to develop? For money, there’s nothing these enterprises wouldn’t dare to do!

Once new resource planets are discovered, these enterprises will surely flock to them. They will go to any lengths to seize the resources first.

In the increasingly resource-depleted cage of current human society, a piece of fresh meat is enough to stir up the demons and monsters locked in this cage.

Fatty understood the power of artificial intelligence without needing Boswell to remind him. Under Pipi’s control, the modern production of extraction, transportation, and manufacturing processes would reach unprecedented efficiency. In scientific research, intelligence, and even warfare, having artificial intelligence is like possessing countless experts.

On such a platform, with a newly secured backyard, the Federation indeed might persist until the end. They could even establish a third-party force capable of influencing the political landscape of the entire human society!

The new Space Jump Technology might be a troublesome treasure. But, if this technology could be transferred to a hidden force independent of the Fei Alliance and used in tandem with the Federation, it wouldn’t be easy for the Feiyang Republic to obtain it.

Unless they dare to use flimsy excuses to launch a massacre on their allies! If they did, the losses to the Feiyang Republic would be even greater!

The flying car entered the Capital First Military Academy, drove through the expansive campus, and stopped in front of a building after ten minutes.

Following behind Boswell, who was carefully holding the little kid, Fatty quickly cast the thoughts out of his mind. To him, it was just like a fantasy of winning the lottery, nothing more than idle bragging with an eccentric old man who knew nothing about war and politics.

The new Space Jump Technology, who even knows where it is? Who knows what the future holds?

But Fatty was certain he would never become a leader of an independent force consisting of mercenaries and even pirates, contending with the Fei Alliance and Western Alliance. That was a hero’s job, not something a hedonistic person like him would do.

At the comprehensive building where the laboratory was located, Boswell seemed to have forgotten his passionate speech to Fatty earlier. The old man was now reverently holding the little kid as if it were his ancestral tablet.

”Fatty...” Standing with Fatty in the elevator, Boswell asked, ”Where did you get this... Pipi?”

”What Pipi!” The little kid, who had always ignored Boswell, suddenly spoke up. ”I am thousands of years older than you. Shouldn’t you call me Lord Fart!”

Fatty widened his eyes, ready to smack the little brat. But seeing Boswell exclaim in surprise and say, ”Not at all, Lord Fart!” Boswell even kicked Fatty and cursed, ”What are you trying to do? If you dare hit it, I’ll execute you!”

Then the old man said to the little kid, ”Lord Fart, is your main program in this spherical robot? Our lab has biological materials. How about we get you a more realistic body?”

”Realistic?” The little kid asked, ”Human-like?”

”Yes!” Boswell nodded, ”High-strength alloy skeleton, fiber simulated muscle tissue, combined with mimetic skin, absolutely indistinguishable from the real thing!”

”Great!” The little kid got excited, ”Will it have a little pee-pee?”
