Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 96: Chapter 87: Kun

Among the five gigantic creatures present, the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon’s injuries rank in the top three.

Ignoring the cracks all over its body, the arm-thick arcs of electricity were constantly splattering across it, making fist-sized bloody holes in its giant wings.

However, the tough fear the reckless, and the reckless fear those who have nothing to lose; the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon is a typical example of the latter.

As its seven giant tails rose one by one, its massive figure gradually vanished.

The Giant Bombing Bird struggled to lift its head and spewed out a series of energy bombs, creating a high-temperature flame over an entire street area, engulfing the surrounding large combat robots.

Though somewhat confused about the situation, its subconscious believed the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon was there to save it, after all, of the five gigantic creatures, it had the best relationship with it.

However, in the next moment, a ten-meter-long mechanical bird beak viciously pierced into its energy storage, directly taking over 30,000 of its blood.

Simultaneously, countless invisible flying armors, like sword rain made of flying swords, crazily stabbed into its body, depleting its remaining blood.

The Giant Bombing Bird let out a wretched scream as its massive form crashed to the ground.

The Seven-Colored Winged Dragon reappeared once more.

All the large combat robots’ eyes glowed red.

”Stop, it’s one of us!!”

With Kep’s shout, the red glow in the robot’s eyes immediately turned green, and their giant forms shifted direction, charging at the remaining three giant beasts.

The death of the Giant Bombing Bird sent all the flying species into a frenzy, recklessly swooping towards everyone present.

However, the situation quickly improved.

Energy beams flashed chaotically, machine guns swept the area, and missiles continuously bombarded— even a blind person would make great gains in such a dense battlefield environment.

But the filling of the battlefield with so many flying species rendered the invisibility of the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon ineffective.

With a thought, Gao Gong unfolded a visibly black radiation field, like a vast ocean, stunning the surrounding low-level flying species and simultaneously partially transforming his body into energy. Apart from the mechanical skeleton, all parts of the Winged Dragon’s body transformed into an energy tide.

Then, all the tides flowed in one direction, targeting another B-level gigantic beast that had been hacked into by the Cyber Hacker.

’It’s a pity this isn’t Mechanical City; the cyber network isn’t developed. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be just remote hacking but mechanical body control.’

Different types of professions have different styles of combat. It’s not necessarily true that just because your level is higher than mine, you will definitely defeat me.

To deal with Cyber Hackers, without an electronic defense wall, without anti-tracking chips, even if you reach level 30 full level, the opponent can wear you down to death.

Of course, this situation is limited to Mechanical City; in the Radiation Zone, this is a typical case of a clever housewife unable to cook without rice.

And the energy tide is a major move of the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon, a fierce technique that exchanges blood for blood, harming the enemy a thousand while self-damaging eight hundred.

Fortunately, this move cannot be performed on the move at high speed; otherwise, it would be Gao Gong himself who would die.

On the system panel, rows of damage figures refreshed, spanning several pages, with even the lowest damage over a thousand.

Although among the same-level flying species, the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon’s blood volume is a shortcoming, its high attack makes up for it.

In almost less than a minute, it took away 80,000 of this Radiation Beast’s blood volume.

And as the light grew brighter, this giant beast finally broke free from the ’Virtual Maze’ set by the Cyber Hacker, but it was already too late.

With a heartrending wail, the basketball-sized electronic eye of the gigantic flying beast exploded violently, along with all its components.

[You have killed the Iron-Backed Flying Dragon, experience +32000, regional reputation +1000, gained one lottery opportunity]

As the saying goes, energy overcomes machinery, machinery overcomes carbon-based, carbon-based overcomes information, information overcomes everything. In a Level 1 Civilization, the energy tide has unstoppable power, with the Beast Tide being the best example.

However, the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon is also not doing well; its wing membranes have vanished, all the energy pipelines in its body are ruptured, and its blood volume remains at only 30,000.

Yet Gao Gong remains calm, knowing he cannot indefinitely control the other side. Like a freeloading player, if you don’t enjoy it within the limited time, what else could you expect?

He set his sights on that ’King Ghidorah’ with dozens of heads, which was single-handedly fighting against nearly twenty large combat robots and over a dozen frontline Mechanical Hunters, proving quite formidable.

Generally speaking, under the same level, Radiation Beasts can’t defeat Mechanical Bio-Beasts, but when the size becomes large enough, the situation reverses.

When radiation energy reaches a certain level, quantitative change leads to qualitative change, and the ’Duke of Fission’ is the best example of this.

The ’Radiation King Ghidorah’ may not be as powerful as the nuclear level ’Duke of Fission,’ but the energy beams on those dozen heads almost never stop.

This kind of ’Energy Cannon’ is equivalent to a ’Land-based Level’ energy weapon that only a Level 2 Civilization can build, with damage exceeding ten thousand. Among those present, apart from the large robots that could take two or three hits, regardless if you are Exoskeleton Warrior, Mecha Warrior, or Bio-Fusioner, basically, anyone hit is dead.

One head of ’Radiation King Ghidorah’ turned towards the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon, or rather, towards Gao Gong on the neck of the Winged Dragon, its eye immediately turning crimson. It sensed that this was the guy who had dragged it down alive.

If the battle were in the sky, how would I be this miserable.

And as it set its sights on Gao Gong, a shiver ran through him.

Its mouth lit up, and a massive radiation energy began to form.

With a thought, Gao Gong made the seven tails of the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon stand up. Under the special energy fluctuations, the Expert Level Seven-Tailed Energy Cannon began to gather power simultaneously.

The air started to vibrate intensely, and the temperature soared rapidly. Combined with the rapid increase of surrounding radiation energy, everyone felt uneasy.

The next moment, two ’Energy Light Pillars’ collided like water tanks.

The terrifying energy aftermath nearly incinerated everything around.

Gao Gong could feel the Seven-Tailed Winged Dragon trembling all over beneath his feet; especially on the relatively intact seven tails, the energy patterns began to explode one after another, spilling liquid everywhere. In terms of injury, the Seven-Tailed Winged Dragon was clearly more severe.

During the energy clash, our Energy Light Pillar was continually shortened.

”How about we go invisible and ambush again?” Kep suggested.

Gao Gong didn’t have time to speak; he was sweating profusely, staring intently at the opponent.

However, in the next moment, his complexion changed drastically. Almost instinctively, he canceled the ’Seven-Tailed Energy Cannon,’ and all the tails blocked the neck area.

The two Energy Light Pillars came one after another, with one hitting the neck and the other sweeping towards the chest.

The one that hit the neck was blocked after burning through four tails, absorbing most of the power.

But the one sweeping the chest wasn’t so lucky; half of the Seven-Tailed Winged Dragon’s body was ’cut’ down.

The massive figure crashed to the ground, and Gao Gong and Kep fell awkwardly, with Kep in a slightly better state since he didn’t need neural connection to the giant beast.

And then, suddenly, the scream of the ’Radiation King Ghidorah’ echoed.

Kep looked around and saw a head from the recent ambush had been directly severed, with blood spraying like a fountain.

Apparently, it was Miyamoto Sanzang, that old assassin?

Only now did Kep, an elite of the Mother City, have a basic regard for the profession of the Mechanical Hunter.

Perhaps they were lacking in strength and equipment, but their courage to draw blades against these giant beasts far surpassed the Peacekeepers in Mechanical City.

”Damn, my kill!”

Gao Gong just recovered from the tearing pain of the neural disconnect. As he looked up, the Seven-Colored Winged Dragon was undeniably dead.

He suddenly glanced over to find that the back of the ’Radiation King Ghidorah’ had explosively fired thousands of energy beams, slicing through dozens of robots around and then running towards the edge of the battlefield.

”He wants to run!” Kep struggled to climb up, but just as he stood up, he fell to the ground again.

With the battle at this point, except for the tireless robots, everyone else was close to their limits.

The rain had long ceased, and the bright radiation atmosphere had emerged from the clouds. Unknowingly, these people had been fighting all night.

Gao Gong stood up. Despite losing a third of his blood volume from the recent energy impact, after the ’Great Blood Sucking,’ his body condition still allowed him to endure another wave.

But he had no intention to act. His group couldn’t hold out, and that ’King Ghidorah’ wasn’t in a great condition either. It hadn’t taken more than two steps before it collapsed again, surrounded and hacked by Combat Robots.

As for the Ionizing Radiation Bird, being a pure radiation energy lifeform, it was trapped by over ten ’Radiation Field Isolators.’ Each isolator created a 300*300 energy vacuum, making energy life struggle in such an environment like migrating insects, hard to escape.

”The tide has turned!”

In the underground command center, many Commanders had already jumped up excitedly, even the solemn Demon Mountain revealed a slight smile.

”Not necessarily.”

Gao Gong suddenly raised his head, looking in the direction of the Blue Desert. As a ’Human-shaped Radiation Beast,’ he sensed much more than the others.

Soon, a strong white light appeared in the sky, and then a giant whale at least ten times larger than a B-level Radiation Bird suddenly appeared.

”Holy crap, a Kun!”

This giant covered the sky, casting shadows on the ground, resembling the ’Heaven-Swallowing Giant Kun’ advertisements in web games.

It seemed to swim in the sky, under all attacks, smoothly reaching the Ionizing Radiation Bird’s side and swallowing it whole.

Then replicating its actions, it swam to the ’Multi-headed King Ghidorah,’ opening its mouth to swallow it whole as well.

All attacks, including grenade launchers and energy beams, dealt damage not exceeding double digits.

Yet this Giant Kun flew towards the nearby sea without looking back.

As if it was just an outrageous coincidence.

But Gao Gong knew this was no accident!

’Beast God General of the Marine Species!’ Gao Gong suddenly turned his head to look in the direction of the ’Biological Transformation Factory’; he had a very bad premonition.

Following the Knight Order’s style, if they make a move, they will never act in just one place.
