I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1398 19.57 Second Red Star - Mysterious Spring

At the former largest zoo in the south…

The former zoo where the little penguin was born is not in ruins. The gate is covered in ice walls, and the interior is worse than beyond the gates. The cages that house animals had all been forcibly destroyed from the inside, and most walls and pillars had fallen down. Like the other places in the Federation Star, this location is covered in ice and snow.

The ice elemental penguin king treats this place as his other home, so he covered this ruin site with ice walls, preventing one from going inside. But these ice walls mutated from their original state. Now, even if the Ice Elemental Penguin King tried to break it down, it is almost impossible.

Leng Jun followed the slow-walking penguin with enough patience towards the tottering little one. He brought the two of them to the back entrance, where people had to crawl to be able to go inside. The zookeeper uncleʼs lips twitch as he stares at the obvious dog hole. On the other hand, Leng Jun remained expressionless and was ready to crawl under as necessary.

The zookeeper uncle asked, ”Little King, are we going through there? Can we find a bigger hole or make one instead?”

[Yes. There are, but the aura of ice elements is so powerful that you guys canʼt pass through there. It is also impossible to break it down. The ice element from within is stronger than mine,” the little penguin king said.

Leng Jun couldnʼt understand why there would be something stronger than an elemental king. After all, aside from the Ice God at the center of this star, there was nothing stronger than the Elemental King. They are considered Demigods of this star after all. Meanwhile, the zookeeper uncle can understand what his little penguin meant.

After all, he was one of the early witnesses who saw what fell from outer space. Though that thing was eaten already, its remnant aura that was left behind in the zoo still lingers.

As if seeing the confusion in Leng Junʼs eyes, the zookeeper uncle said to him. ”Once you see that place, you will understand what his words meant. For now, letʼs go inside first.”

Without any other choice, the little penguin and two human adult male crawl through the dog hole, with the little elemental king leading the way. As soon as the two people raised their heads, they couldnʼt believe what they were seeing. There is a bluish aurora inside the enclosed space of the ruined zoo, which left them speechless.

”How can this place be this beautiful? It changed a lot from how I remember it,” the Zookeeper Uncle exclaimed.

On the other hand, Leng Jun couldnʼt move his eyes away from a corner of the place that looked like it was stomped on. Almost half of the zoo was flattened and this crater is now filled with glowing water. This water seems to be the source of the gorgeous aurora above their heads. For some reason, as a fire elemental, Leng Jun felt fear coming from that pool of glowing water.

[Come. Come. This is the place. You see that little spring? Thatʼs the one Iʼm talking about. A place filled with ice element.

But except for elemental kings, almost everything that touches it will turn to ice.]

The zookeeper uncle picked up a stone and glanced at Leng Jun. ”You see it for yourself.”

He threw the stone towards the small spring covered with aurora. The moment the stone went past the aura, it was instantly covered in ice and broke into pieces. As if the iced stone had completely transformed into ice, the moment it fragmented, there was only water drop left to merge with the glowing spring below the aurora.

The little elemental king fidgets and said, [I… I didnʼt lie, right? This place had more energy than my core. So, please donʼt eat me~]

Seeing how interested Leng Jun is about the strange spring that he didnʼt even hear the little oneʼs voice, the zookeeper uncle pats his penguin sonʼs head in comfort.

”Donʼt be afraid, little king. It seems that he is no longer interested in you. Letʼs go home,” said the zookeeper uncle.

[We donʼt need to wait for him, father?]

”No need. Letʼs go. There are still a lot of things that need to be moved. The south is no longer safe, we should go somewhere else.” The zookeeper uncle said.

[Okay. Letʼs go home, father.]

The pair of human father and penguin son took their leave. They chose not to say goodbye to Leng Jun, as they completed their task by bringing him here. Now they no longer have any responsibility towards one another. They quietly took their leave while Leng Jun was still dazed.

Leng Jun was stunned, he didnʼt expect to witness just a scene of something changing into another matter. Just as he was thinking how to devour the whole thing, he was not surprised to not see the father and son as he turned around. He knew that his image of him is not that good for suddenly attacking their territory.

In his heart, he felt indebted to the two for sending him to this place filled with energy.

Leng Jun mumbles, ”If there is a chance in the future. I should repay them at that time.”

Unexpectedly, the voice of that Evil god once again appeared in Leng Junʼs mind, and this time this being seems to be greatly interested in the glowing spring in front of him.

{Hm? This energy! Haha~ to think you will hit a jackpot this time. This is a real thing. Itʼs much more powerful than all the energy cores of all elemental kings on this planet combined. Unfortunately, the core is gone.

With it, you could have become on the spot. How unfortunate~}

Leng Jun frowned as he heard his words. It seems that this spring is indeed powerful as he expected, but he is a bit confused by its meaning. Why did he mention a core? Is there something else that should be here?

”What do you mean?” Leng Jun asked.

{Whatever had fallen in here is the cause of why your world had been frozen. Itʼs a fragment of an absolute element that has gone berserk somewhere in outer space and landed on your planet. Itʼs the source of all ice elements in this world.}

Leng Jun asked, ”What do you mean by Absolute Element? There is something out there that is stronger than the Ice Elemental Snowman Emperor? Something stronger than a God?”

{Hehe~ Of course, there are. God had hierarchy, you know. Above God there is a High God, then God King, a Mythical God, a Celestial God, an Immortal God and the strongest, which is a Sovereign God (Overlord Immortals). Among these Gods, the Sovereign God can only be counted by hands. As for Absolute Elements, they are special existences.

They are above all elements of their attributes and their existences are everlasting. Most of these Absolute Elements choose only one master and the master of the absolute element of Ice is a Sovereign God.}

Leng Jun was panting as he tried to hold back the rage in his heart and asked, ”Are you trying to tell me that someone above God intentionally froze our world? For what reason?!”

{Hahaha~ you think itʼs too big! Why would high-tier gods care for the lower realms? What affected your planet was a little leak of their powers. Your planet is just far too weak to withhold such leaking aura. Have you ever thought of ants as you live in this world? The existence of lower realm worlds is similar to that of an ant in their eyes.

They would care much about small stars that scattered like colorful pebbles in the space they are in.}

Leng Junʼs mood turned sour, and he mumbled, ”So, I canʼt take revenge?!”

{Yes, since it is impossible to do so. But there is another way for you to revive your little element. The Absolute Element of Fire can allow it to enter rebirth.}

”But didnʼt you say that only a Sovereign God can control an Absolute Element!?” Leng Jun said.

{You are quite lucky. The Sovereign God that owns the Absolute Element of Fire had descended in this galaxy as a mortal. If you can meet him and ask him for help, then you will get what you want. But you must bring him into this world. This way this star would protect you, as you are one of his beloved children.}

Bewildered, Leng Jun asked, ”Why would a God from an upper realm descend to the lower realm worlds?”

{Some gods, when bored, would descend from the Upper Realm to play as mortals. There is nothing surprising about that. Even me came over for fun. There is no reason for the other gods not to do so as well.}

Leng Jun believed this personʼs words for now, but he had an inkling that the descent of the Gods would not be simple. Obviously, this evil god is planning something and was going to use him for him. His sudden appearance and his reason for lending his help to him as well as guiding him to get stronger, all of this must be for another reason.

Leng Jun can only pretend not to read deeper into this situation and focus on his Chuchuʼs situation first.

”I see. What should be done about this spring? You are going to tell me to drink, do you? I will be frozen alive once I touch those auroras,” Leng Jun said.

{There is no need for you to come over. Just use the power I give you. I cannot eat it as fast as eating elementals, but with this level of energy, I could definitely devour this aura.}

Leng Jun had once again summoned the purplish-black, which took the shape of a dragon. As soon as it materialized, it drooled at the sight of the spring, but it didnʼt foolishly approach it. It crawled slowly within the perimeter of the glowing spring and tried to slip in its tail inside the spring. But as expected, the tail froze and broke down.

The purplish-black aura extends once again, reshaping , reaching out and breaking to pieces. This cycle lasted for a while and as if the purplish-black aura got stronger at each destruction, it finally slowly adapted.

Now the extended aura was only covered in frost but didnʼt completely fragment as it turned into ice. When the tail of the black dragon entered the glowing spring, it shrieked in pain while smiling. I was clearly delighted by how potent the aura of this spring is.

Stunned, Leng Jun mumbles, ”Did it adapt to it?” He continues to observe as the purplish-black dragon aura finally entered the spring. It feels asleep while covered in frost, like a hibernating dragon.

{Brat, if you donʼt want to die, meditate.}

Leng Jun said, ”Huh?”

All of a sudden, he was bleeding in his seven orifices and felt an uncontrollable dizziness he never experienced before. He fell to the ground powerlessly as he held his head. A sudden surge of power in his body ended. There is indeed a certain connection between him and the dragon sleeping in the spring.

His thoughts at the moment were, ʼIt seems that whatever he eats, a part of it would be passed on to me.ʼ

Sitting on the ground with crossed legs, Leng Jun closed his eyes and focused on meditation. He needs to circulate the energy that appears in his body to enhance his strength. The energy was passed to Chuchuʼs soul as first priority and the rest was merged in Leng Junʼs body and soul. Unknown to him, his body and soul are being transformed by this energy, slowly slaying his shell as a mortal.

Tun Shizhe, who was watching from some unknown space, murmured, ”Get stronger. The stronger you get, the more powerful my next clone shall be~.”

Beside him, Lord Chaos, who was looking at the scene with a bored look, said, ”Actually, there is something you should check. I sense the power of Chaos that should have been gone.”

”The power of chaos!? Is it real? Where had you sensed it?” asked Tun Shizhe urgently.

In his mind, anything that involved Chaos had something to do with his Hunluan. He believes that this man before him wouldnʼt lie. He is the strongest soul fragment of the God of Destruction. Though he didnʼt have any traces of Hunluan on him, being able to sense something like the power of Chaos is still possible.

Lord Chaos pointed in the direction where the Beast Planet is located, ”Somewhere there. It keeps fluctuating, so I am a bit... unsure.”

Before he could complete his words, Tun Shizhe had longed to disappear before him, and the dimension they were in rippled with the sudden departure of someone. Lord Chaos didnʼt care much about what that man planned to do, but he was feeling mischievous and wanted to get involved in this farce he was planning.

He looked at the hybrid elemental and the slumbering elemental soul inside the body of this hybrid.

With a slight curl at the corner of his lips, Lord Chaos sends a bit of his divinity towards the slumbering soul and mumbles, ”Iʼm a bit bored, so I will give you a little push. I wonder if you could still save your beloved for the third time. If your so called love is strong you might survive.”
