I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1274: 18.112 First Grey Star - Evil Octopus God

Back to the ocean floor...

Roi, the black dragon, swam to the core of the ocean, where Lu Ming was left behind. When Ye Jieye and the rest returned, they saw the scene of Lu Ming lying on the ground, unconscious. Leica immediately checked on him.

Ye Jieye asked, ”Whatʼs wrong with him?” He was carefully hugging his wife in his arms.

”He is just unconscious. Maybe when Lord Hei awakened, his aura burst, affecting everything around him. Thankfully, he is Heavenʼs beloved son and didnʼt die on the spot,” Leica responded while treating Lu Ming and helping him wake up.

Ye Jieye gestures for the water to move away from this area. Tiny wisps of fire swirled around, causing the area to dry up. In addition, he pulled a bed from his inventory and set his wife to sleep on it. letting him sleep and holding off on waking him up.

Lu Ming felt the world trembling after Leica had woken her up. His impaired vision is not quite as bad as his dizziness.

”Urk! Iʼm feeling sick,” Lu Ming said as he covered his mouth.

Leica said, ”Donʼt puke. If you puke, youʼre going to get thrown out of this place.”

Lu Ming recoiled at once, realizing that it had to be Ye Jieye from the menacing look on his back. He bolted from the barrier right away and passed out far away. He only remembered what had transpired before to his fainting after he had calmed down. He would never forget the tears in space that appeared in the area after he went, nor the frigid, graying silver irises of Mo Xuejing.

”He can tear space with his weapon. What was that weapon called again? Death scythe? No matter how I look at it, that weapon is too dangerous,” mumbles Lu Ming.

Outside the enormous dome of vibrant corals, Lu Ming stood still, lost in meditation, as he reflected on all that had recently transpired. He looked up just as he was ready to go back inside the dome and noticed that it felt a little bit darker. Lu Mingʼs face became pale with terror. Above his head, right above the coral dome, is a large, thick tentacle.

”What the hell is that!?” Lu Ming cursed as he unhesitatingly ran back inside the dome. But as if the tentacle had eyes, it followed him inside.

He started screaming as he ran while being chased by a thick, slimy tentacle. Lu Ming screamed, ”Ah! Help me!”

Lu Mingʼs shouts awakened Leica and Ye Jieye, who were silently waiting for Mo Xuejing to wake up. Just as they were going to chastise Lu Ming, they noticed the enormous tentacle running after the unfortunate young man.

Ye Jieye said, ”What is that? An Octopus Tentacle?”

Leica moved to draw Lu Ming into the barrier with his crimson string. Here, two barriers have been erected: one outside the corals and the other around the domeʼs center. Ye Jieye had fashioned the one inside to keep them dry, while the Moray Eel had made the one outside to defend his house.

There are two gods down on the ocean floor. The gods of the Moray eel, who serves the skies, and the evil octopus, which emerged from the black marsh, are the two. It is an evil god that was the death harbinger and lived underwater. It moved to seize control as soon as it sensed the Moray Eel God had departed its domain.

It is possible to say that the sea pearl floating above the coral domeʼs core controls the entire ocean.

Lu Ming said, ”Brother Leica! There. There. Thereʼs a big one. Big. Octopus outside.”

”Yeah, it even chased you inside. No, maybe it didnʼt even have you in its eye and only used you to look for the hole in the dome,” Leica said.

Lu Ming stared at the startling sight of the massive tentacle that had been pursuing him moments ago. That tentacle burst like fireworks the instant it made contact with the barrier encircling the domeʼs core. Its blood and flesh stained the shield.

”Woa~ what a grotesque scene of explosion,” Lu Ming mumbled.

Leica cast a quick glance at Ye Jieye, who had fallen asleep on the bed alongside his spouse and had shut his eyes. It is obvious that she has lost interest in the major issue that lies beyond the barrier. Ye Jieye built this barrier. It destroyed everything that wished to enter and only permitted the creatures he let to pass through.

Furthermore, the barrier will stay in place as long as Ye Jieye is alive. It would still be as robust as hell even if he were asleep.

Ye Jieye made it obvious that he did not care about anything by closing his eyes and going to sleep, giving them the impression that they should not bother him. He thus relished his sleep and really dozed off while holding his wife in his arms.

When Leica witnessed Ye Jieye acting in this way, he was afraid to awaken the Lord God. Only his spouse and kids receive kindness from the God of Void. If someone else dared to wake him up, that person would not need it, but it would be okay if it was his family.

Lu Ming also witnessed Ye Jieye nodding out and disregarding what was happening outside. Despite his shock, he lacked the bravery to confront the creature. He only now realized how much he missed his lover from his past life. He didnʼt want to die just because he woke the demon.

”Brother Leica, what should we do? If this continues, the coral dome would be destroyed,” Lu Ming said

As soon as he stated it, a few more tentacles emerged and began to rip apart the coral nearby. No matter how hard it used its tentacles to attack the barrier, it was unable to pass through and even saw its tentacles explode. Leica was expressionless as he observed this sight. He is still weary of trying to fix everything.

He was more tired than he had been previously, so he opted to take a seat at the table in the corner. He got himself a cup of tea.

Leica said, ”Iʼm tired. Letʼs just wait for someone to solve it for us. If AʼShang is here, he can do it, or the Young Lord and the Little Princess can also do it. Maybe you can as well. Your original abilities are starting to return.”

Lu Ming began to examine himself and noticed that the fire and wind energies within him were growing stronger. This was unexpected for him. After all, the gods had stripped him of his former strength before the world reopened as retribution for defying them.

”Why? Who makes this possible?” He mumbles.

Leica thought of something and said, ”Maybe the heavens is desperate. If there is someone who is willing to save this world it would only be you and Su Jin, who are the protagonists of this world. You are its beloved children and the protector of this world after all. It could never order the two lords or us. You see how Lord Ye chooses to sleep and ignore the octopus.

AʼShang and I only follow the orders of our lords. As for the Young Lord and Princess, they never cared about this world as well. They might help by whim but that itself is rare. Maybe when their grandparents of this world are involved they might lend a hand. But right now those two must be busy playing around, they wonʼt be returning anytime soon.

Thatʼs why the heavens can only bet on you to kill this Evil Octopus. Donʼt look down on it. Itʼs a God that is corrupted. Itʼs an Evil God.”

Lu Ming glanced at the couple sleeping on the bed and asked, ”You guys are gods. Then what happened to the original owner of your bodies?”

”Are you worried about your big brother? Donʼt worry. Unlike outsiders, we donʼt kill the souls of the original owners of the vessels we borrowed. Our world sign. A contract with them. In short, itʼs like fulfilling their wishes.

Except for Lord Mo, the rest of us signed a contract with the real owner. When he leaves, they will regain their bodies, and the power we accumulated in their bodies will be theirs, including the wealth and fame we left behind.”

”Your brotherʼs wish was to make up with you. In your previous life, he hated that he didnʼt once come to see you and died. Thatʼs why in this world, I and Shang came to meet you. Of course, we arenʼt always awake in this body. The original would also take over. The one who came to see you and spend time with you in Somatic Town was your real brother.

Our thoughts merge; even though Iʼm explaining things to you right now, I am also the real Leica, but my knowledge is not mine but from Lord Yun Ming.”

”AʼShang is also your brother, but not him. After all, my Lou had no patience with talking to children. The one you had conversed with is your real brother.”

Leicaʼs justification is unclear. In conclusion, there are two souls within the body, yet their minds are one. Therefore, even though two souls may reside in the same body, they remain distinct individuals at the end of the day. The gods within their bodies are completely awake only when divinity is invoked. Similar to how Lu Shang unexpectedly and violently erupted when Leica was taken away.

That was not Lu Shang. That was the actual Chief Warden in the flesh.

Lu Ming was stunned by the truth, but as if he couldnʼt believe it, he looked at Leica and asked, ”Why did you choose my big brother?”

”There is something you call compatibility. My loverʼs soul is only compatible with your big brotherʼs body. To house it, we need their permission, and in exchange, we give them what they wish for. Actually, my wish is to get to live with your brother. In reality, I and Shang are not lovers but just business partners.

Lord Yun took over and was allowed to be able to stand by your brotherʼs side and fight with him. After all, I am just an ordinary person and an information broker. To gain the ability to fight and stand beside Shang. This is my wish. Didnʼt I get it?” Leica said while smiling.

Totally ignoring the enormous octopus outside, which kept trying to force its tentacles through the barrier, the two were content to ignore it and carry on with their talk despite its persistent attempts.

{Djiwvsl siofowonag jsjoxjehu!}

Lu Ming observed Leica appear a little irritated, as though he could understand the words being said by the enormous octopus, which was glaring at them and uttering things he did not understand.

He asked, ”You can understand what it is saying?”

”Itʼs an ancient language. Only gods can understand these words. It can be directly translated to human words if it wants. But itʼs too angry to notice anything,” Leica said to Lu Ming and suddenly shouted at the huge octopus. ”Stop screaming! We are humans.

We cannot understand anything you say!”

The tentacles that were striking the barrier momentarily stopped before continuing. This time, the octopus yelled at them using human language.

{Damn Humans! Get out there, you motherfuckers! Give me the pearl. I want to become the real ruler of the ocean. That fucking eel is not even my equal!!}

A barrage of human obscenities that nearly left Leica and Lu Ming in disbelief followed these remarks. It may be for the best that it never learned to speak human language. Despite their inability to comprehend its words, it did not enrage them, at least.

Lu Ming mumbled, ”It was a bit better that it canʼt speak human. Now, itʼs more annoying than before. Wouldnʼt that wake up the two lords that are sleeping?”

”They wonʼt wake up. Lord Ye placed another barrier around the bed, which isolated sound. Even if the world ends, they wonʼt hear a thing,” Leica said.

Lu Ming asked, ”What should we do then?”

Patting his shoulder and gestured good luck with his hands, ”Xiao Ming, Jiayou!” Leica said. Literally had no intention of lending him a hand to beat the evil octopus god.

Lu Ming mumbled in disbelief, ”You gotta be kidding me.” He glanced first at the hideous creature stomping like a lunatic at the barrier, then at the enormous pearl hovering over their heads. A headache struck his brain, and he was at a loss for what to do next.
