I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1267: 18.105 First Grey Star - First Glitch was solved.

The conditions on the ground were not great either, even though everyone on the ocean floor was going through their own unique dilemma. Not all of the issues with the Ruins of Time entrance have been fixed yet. Lu Wangle, Mo Xinyue, and Mu Zang, the three Heavenly Guardians, were still experimenting with these animalsʼ effects on themselves.

Naturally, they first transported Heavenly Guardian Gu, who was severely injured, to the battlefield with his consent. After all, Heavenly Guardian Gu had grown utterly crippled ever since the Barbarian Race invaded. All of his hands were already totally paralyzed, except for his right hand.

While Mu Zang and Mo Xinyue were blocking the monsters from approaching the camp with the other knights, Lu Wangle was beside Heavenly Guardian Gu.

Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle asked, ”Are you sure about this? We donʼt even know if the effects from those monsters can heal your injuries.”

”Even so, as long as there is hope, I believe that itʼs possible. Brother Lu, I still want to try it,” Heavenly Guardian Gu declared.

Looking at his majesty standing next to him, Heavenly Guardian Luʼs stare begs to know if he concurs with Old Guʼs choice. After all, the Gu Clan had vowed allegiance to the monarchy following the barbarian invasion. For Wang Xingmo, it meant belonging to the royal family, not taking it literally. He understood that Wang Xingmo had accepted Heavenly Guardian Guʼs choice when he nodded.

Wang Xingmo said, ”Letʼs do as he says. Itʼs better to do what you want than regret it in the future.”

”Okay, Iʼll inform Zanga and Xin. Lao Gu, I will have to carry you with me, and it wonʼt be a smooth one,” Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said.

Heavenly Guardian Gu laughs and says, ”Iʼm a man with thick skin. A rough journey is better for me!”

”Haha~ very well. Letʼs go, Lao Gu!” The two of them turned into a streak of light and disappeared from the tent.

His Majesty, Wang Xingmo, looked at their departure with a calm gaze. Nameless is just silent as always.

Wang Xingmo asked, ”Nameless, what do you think that one in the tower is planning? I still havenʼt come to meet him as planned, and this happened out of nowhere. Are the glitches on the seal something he caused? What do you think?”

”It canʼt be him. I am not even interested in that dungeon. Why would someone stronger than me take notice of it?” Nameless said.

Wang Xingmo said, ”Indeed, Iʼm overthinking things again. Itʼs just that they are a bit too quiet.”

”To become a hero, one must need the right opportunity,” Nameless said. Obviously, he was saying that the Second Prince was waiting for the right moment to stand out and fight for the throne against Wang Xingmo, his father.

Sigh~

”This fate is truly unlikable. Maybe the royal family shouldnʼt have existed right from the beginning,” Wang Xingmo mumbled.

Meanwhile, a bizarre scene of individuals growing younger and older is visible at the battlefield close to the Ruins of Time. Mu Zang, who formerly had a grade school appearance, now has a young adult appearance. Conversely, Mo Xinyue appeared somewhat older than normal.

Mu Zang was in charge of the assaults. Together with some knights, they dispatched over half of these strange beasts. He was able to manipulate the monstersʼ effects on them so that none of them could overlap assaults and end up dead.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said, ”Oi, restrain the rest of the monsters and rest for half an hour. You can at least freeze them for a while, right?” But no one responded to him.

When Mu Zang turned around, he saw Mo Xinyue looking at his aged face in a mirror. He heard him muttering, ”Even if I turned into an old man, Iʼm still beautiful. I should take my bloodline for this. Hehe~”

”You!” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang kicked him on the butt and said, ”Hey! I told you we were going to take a break. Freeze all the rest of the monsters!”

Ouch!

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said, ”Damn Brat! How can you hit this old man!?”

When Mu Zang noticed that he was still acting out a role play, he booted him again as the closest monster, making him duck under the blow. Since he had already assumed his previous form, he was unable to attack it again. He could only reverse the direction of his descent by tapping it once.

This little tap had been seen as a feeble attack, and Mo Xinyueʼs elderly countenance instantly changed to that of a small boy. Now his robes hung loosely over his slender frame.

He now resembled the Mu Zang from before whom they had encountered in the tent moments ago. A boy, no bigger than an adult. His voice also became cutesy and high-pitched.

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue complained, ”Surnamed Mu! You lunatic! Why did you kick me!?”

”Iʼve been calling for you since before. Youʼve been acting like a deaf person twice. Kickinʼ you was the right thing to do! Snort! Also, you are a brat now. Call me brother!” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said.

Mo Xinyue, the Heavenly Guardian, appeared so furious that his plump cheeks went as red as a tomato. He looked like an adorable infant instead of someone who could be convincingly upset. Furthermore, he bit Mu Zangʼs hands because they were the only exposed part he could bite into because he was so angry.

CHOMPED!

”AH! STOP! Are you a fucking dog?” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said as he shook his hand, trying to remove the brat biting him.

This was the scene Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle and Heavenly Guardian Gu witnessed upon arriving on the scene.

Lu Wangle asked, ”What the hell are you guys playing at?” When he saw Mo Xinyueʼs size, he immediately started laughing. ”Hahaha~ Lao Mo, even you had turned into a brat!”

Mu Zang and Mo Xinyue looked at each other and thought of something. But they didnʼt show any changes in expression on their faces and just snorted.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said while looking at Heavenly Guardian Gu, ”He agreed. Letʼs help him first. Xinyue, let the knights rest. For the next half an hour, Wangle and I will restrain the monsters. If Heavenly Guardian Gu was cured, he could also help us.”

”Sigh~ okay. Be careful. Though there are only twenty-plus monsters yet, no one knows whether something will come out of it again,” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang shook his head and said, ”Xiao Ye said that the glitches will bring out monsters in batches. But for every batch, there is a long duration for each. Since a hundred have already come out, it seems that this is all that the first batch can bring. The next set of monsters will probably come out during the next glitch in the seal.”

”Canʼt we just make the signal stronger after this? Wonʼt that prevent glitches?” Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle asked.

Mu Zang said, ”No. It cannot be prevented. The seal is destined to be destroyed. This is what Xiao Ye had told me. The only way to survive is to get stronger and adapt. No one knows what is inside that dungeon or why it was called the ruins of time.”

”If itʼs really like that, then we must make the most of it. At least change the age of our bodies and retrain more. As long as we get stronger, there should be a future for us,” Lu Wangle said.

Nobody understands the full degree or impact of the threat posed by the ruins of time on them. However, they cannot give up on life because of an uncertain future. By the end of the day, Heavenly Guardian Gu had fully recovered, and many elderly hunters had also attained youth. All four of the Heavenly Guardians had become young again.

With the exception of the first day the monsters emerged, all of the monsters were slain, and there were fewer deaths overall. The capital was temporarily at peace again.

---

Evening, at Numen Townʼs Night Market...

Numerous changes had occurred while Wang Xingyun and Fu Zin had remained in this small hamlet. One of these is the night market. Residents of the town were permitted to operate little stalls in front of the townʼs only mansion for a set amount of time. You can buy practically anything here, including weapons, armor, and uncooked supplies from the numerous food and mine stalls.

More visitors from outside the area come over as a result of this night market.

Every night, Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu stops by for dinner and refreshments. They were accompanied by Doctor Sen. The barbeque stand that Wang Xingmo, the former king, was operating, best suited to Heavenly Guardian Xian Wuʼs alcoholic beverages.

”Boss, give me ten strings of squid here!”

”I want 50 strings of mutton and 50 beef!”

”Okay. Okay. Coming up!”

Fu Zin was in charge of the cooking, and Wang Xingyun was rushing about giving instructions and getting drinks. In addition, a large number of Fu Clan assistants assist their clan leader in handling and preparing the food. Two men sat at a table in a quiet area of the stall, serving themselves different sorts of meat and seafood. Doctor Sen and Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu were these two guys.

Cough. Cough.

Doctor Sen scolded, ”Donʼt use beer to wash your throat if you choke. Drink the soup!”

”Stop nagging, Sen. I know. Burp!” Xian Wu said as he restarted his eating.

Doctor Sen observed the booth owners as they lived a normal life that they would not have been able to have if they had stayed in the palace. This scene made him smile without fail. Abruptly, the daily report from the capitalʼs courier arrived and informed him of the events in the Ruins of Time. Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu saw a scowl on Doctor Senʼs face right away.

Xian Wu asked, ”Whatʼs wrong? Did something happen in the capital again?”

”Yes. This time itʼs the Ruins of Time. It seems that the seal on it is slowly getting weakened. It wouldnʼt be surprising if it became useless in the end. But there is also good news,” Doctor Sen said.

When the Ruins of Time were brought up, Xian Wu scowled. That was the only area available for human exploration. Some people ventured inside to investigate, but they were imprisoned to stop monsters from emerging from their reality. This also explains the seal covering the dungeonʼs entrance. an uncharted territory. It is far more hazardous than those well-known danger zones.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said, ”The Ruins of Time again. What happened this time?”

”They said that some glitches in the seal and entrance caused some space rips near the area. It brought to them a hundred weird monsters that looked like smiles but had clocks as their faces. Whatʼs interesting about this is that the state of attack can determine the backlash you would receive from attacking it. You can become old or young based on how you attack, and this effect is permanent.

In short, aside from you and the one in the sea, the four in the capital have returned to their youth,” Doctor Sen said.

”What did you say!?”

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu was horrified beyond belief, as was to be anticipated. He even yelled, obliging the throng encircling them. Before the man could even yell, Doctor Sen had covered both of his ears, as if anticipating this response. As everyone turned to face them, Doctor Sen apologized and grinned at the assembly.

Doctor Sen said, ”Sorry. He drank too much. I apologize for him.” He pulled Xian Wu back to his seat and whispered. ”Canʼt you calm down, damn old man?”
