I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1261: 18.99 First Grey Star - Dangers in the Ocean at night.

An unexpected event happened on the land where the Ruins of Time Dungeon entrance is located. Out of nowhere, space rips appeared, and unreal monsters emerged, looking like slime and possessing clock-like faces. Every attack that was dealt to them caused others to change into children or old people, depending on who was attacking, and no one in the capital knew what their weakness was.

The current king, Wang Xingmo, and the remaining Heavenly Guardians in the capital had assembled in one tent. Among them was Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang, who appeared oddly small as he transformed into a child, at most ten years old.

What is surprising is that he resembles Ye Jingxia of this world, albeit with a different aura: Ye Jingxia had an innocent and mischievous aura, whereas the current Mu Zang appeared to be a silent child with a lazy but mature gaze.

Pfft!

”Zang, you look so cute this way! Hahaha~” Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said while holding back laughter. As for Mo Xinyue beside him, he covered his face while trembling badly. Obviously, laughing silently.

Wang Xingmo, on the other hand, seemed intrigued by Heavenly Guardian Mu Zangʼs condition. He had already been told what had happened in the field, and he was dumbfounded to see his royal knights change into either old or young forms. It was an unbelievable scene that one could not believe was happening.

With a cutesy voice, Mu Zang threatened, ”How do you want to die today, you retard!?”

Hahahahaha~

This time, instead of feeling intimidated, Mo Xinyue and Lu Wangle burst into laughter at the sight and sound of their friendʼs voice and reaction—a little boy exhibiting tantrums and issuing a rebellious warning to his parents—and Wang Xingmo even laughed a little too hard, covering it up with a cough.

Mu Zang was pissed, but he could not lower their fighting power by killing these two retards. He sat back as he held back his anger and said, ”Enough joke! The situation is quite dire. Even though there are only at most hundreds of enemies, we barely killed two. We donʼt even know how it was killed, but Iʼve learned how to control the effects on it and the attackers.”

”Is it about why some turn young and others turn old?” Wang Xingmo asked.

Mu Zang nodded his head and explained. ”It had something to do with the strength used to hit the target. If you hit it with all you got, then you will turn into an old man. If itʼs your weakest attack, then you will regress and become younger. Of course, the output needs to be adjusted accordingly. For example, in your first hit, you hit it with all you got and become an old man.

Hitting it lightly would turn you into a young man, but you need to accumulate the weak hit.”

”I see. So the reason you became a boy was because you hit it light after hitting it with all you got. Is this the age you wanted?” Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said.

Mu Zang no longer holds back his anger, straddles the neck of this retard, and pulls his hair.

”Iʼll pull out all your hair, you dumb bastard!” Mu Zang said.

Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle shouts, ”Ah! My hair! Stop. Stop, you lunatic! Iʼll turn bald. Iʼll become bald.”

Ignoring the two old and young fighting at the side, Wang Xingmo thought of another possibility, which seems to be a worse case for this situation.

Wang Xingmo asked, ”What would happen if you consecutively attacked with strong hits?”

Mu Zang, who was having fun beating Lu Wangle, suddenly stopped his rain of fists and turned around with a serious expression.

”Too many strong hits will lead to death and too many weak hits will lead to rebirth. Either to die as old or regress before you were born. The end is both tragic. I saw those who become babies get trampled and those who become piles of bones. Moreover, the effects on the body donʼt disappear even after the monster dies. Only the one who did the last hit would return to normal.

Your Majesty, there are only 98 monsters left on the field. You know what this means, right?” Mu Zang said.

This causes everyone in the room to become very serious; the situation is far more perilous than they had previously realized. They then recall that two monsters have been slain and sense that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue asked, ”How did you kill the monster?”

”1000 hits, 500 strong and 500 weak attacks in an alternate pattern. There is also another way, which is to destroy the face, but... the attacker would fall into deep sleep as if he were in a coma. No one knows when he will wake up. That person happened to be the captain of the knight group who was stationed in this area for patrolling. He is loyal and brave.

I hope his majesty will keep him safe until we find a way to wake him up,” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said.

Wang Xingmo agreed without hesitation. He might be a tyrant who will do everything to get to his goal, but he isnʼt cruel enough to ignore those who are worthy of living.

”I will make it so he will be alive until the cure is found. But what should we do now? The first option is good, but it takes time. By the time we finish one, a lot of people will die. The second option is fast, but itʼs not worth the choice. Who would say this situation will never happen again?” Wang Xingmo said.

The mood in the tent became awkward. Although the situation was dire, the three Heavenly Guardians remained composed for some reason. Heavenly Guardian Gu ought to have been present at this meeting, but he was not because of his body breaking in all places following the barbarian invasion and needing time to heal.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang suddenly said, ”Your Majesty, if you believe us, then I have a plan in mind. The option we will use will be the first one, but to prevent deaths, I will have to ask all those who can cast a barrier to work together for this plan. They will be our pillars for it to succeed. With my plan, we can bring Old Gu back to his perfect state or even better.”

”You want to fully use the effects caused by monsters? Itʼs not a bad idea. I will tally the knights that agree to this plan and gather all those who can create a barrier to keep the danger away,” Wang Xingmo said.

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said, ”Actually, if itʼs only the barrier, I think our mounts can help with it. What do you guys think?” He was asking Mu Zang and Lu Wangle what they thought.

”Indeed, considering they have pure qi in their bodies, the barrier can last longer. It should be enough, but just in case, letʼs ask the others to gather to help maintain the seal instead of the barrier,” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said.

Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said, ”Iʼll go pick up Old Gu.”

”Letʼs begin the preparation for this plan,” Wang Xingmo said.

Anairam Trench, Outer Region.

The Anairam Trench is deeper at sundown than it is during the day. The outermost portion is still relatively light due to moonlight. A few coral houses were reserved for hunters who stayed overnight. There are more patrolling fishmen during the night because there are nocturnal ingredients, the majority of which are vicious.

The coral houses were illuminated by night pearls, which glowed in the darkness. There are a number of coral houses in the outer area, but the number of places to live decreases as one descends into the trench. The deeper one descends, the more dangerous marine life exists.

Ye Jieye and his group rented three coral houses—one for the Ye family. One is for the six hunters from the Mo and Lu clans, and the last one is for Lu Shang and Leica together with the brats and the two doctors. Fortunately, each group had their own chef, so they wonʼt starve tonight.

This is the ocean; the sea creatures rule here, even though the area they were in was deemed shallow in comparison to the other regions; the guards who patrolled the area were fishermen, and their purpose was to keep an eye on the area, not to protect everyone within it, only those who paid for their protection.

Ye Jieye is with the kids; his wife and kids are waiting in the dining room. The coral houses were equipped with arrays that protected the entire structure from external attacks. The first mode allowed the inside of the house to be completely dry, which allowed human hunters to live comfortably underwater. The second mode allowed the inside of the house to be filled with seawater.

Ye Jieye cooked some grilled vegetables, stuffed squid, pan-seared swordfish steaks, clear soup abalone, and some white rice for dinner. The majority of the ingredients are of legendary quality, which leaves a tantalizing scent that spreads underwater, especially for sea creatures like Fishmen and such, whose sense of smell is powerful, especially underwater.

When the scent of these foods mixed with the water, it made the patrolling guards drool and even made their stomachs growl.

When human cooks prepared takoyaki and other octopus-based delicacies for them, they were overjoyed and hungry, despite the fact that these sea creatures used to prefer raw food.

Reactions of the Fishmen Guard on Patrol tonight.

”What is this smell?”

”The fragrance is stronger than the takoyaki this morning.”

”Gulps~... Itʼs coming from the Coral House where Lord Satan and his family stay, so itʼs true that he is not only a hunter but also a chef.”

”Drools~ the scent of squid, swordfish, and salty soup. Iʼm getting hungrier the more I smell.”

Growls~

”Captain! I canʼt hold back anymore. Please let me return to the barracks!”

”Captain, me too!”

”I also canʼt bear it anymore!”

Out of nowhere, a huge underwater tornado suddenly materialized in the outer region, taking everyone by surprise. The waves and water pressure in this area are more dangerous, and some coral houses were blown away, resulting in human hunters drowning. The fishermenʼs guards tried their best to save these people as chaos descended upon this outer region.

Not far from the outer region, a small whale-sized manta ray was flapping its wings, causing more and more tornadoes in the area. Taking a closer look, it seems to be fighting with a sea snake of the same size. The two big guys were fighting each other, which caused chaos in the outer region.

They only have their enemies in their eyes, and the destruction theyʼve caused was something they didnʼt do on purpose but was deadly.
