I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1300: 18.138 First Grey Star - Su Jinʼs Awakening

Anairam Trenchʼs Core Region

Leica had been waiting a long time for one of this worldʼs chosen ones to awaken from enlightenment. Abruptly, the placid Ocean Pearl drifting in the waves began to tremble, sending ripples through the surrounding water. Following the shaking, the pearl developed a break and a brilliant, golden light.

”He is finally about to wake up. Thatʼs good. With his awakening, he should be able to help Xiao Ming capture the Nirvana Flame Spirit,” Leica mumbles as he watches Su Jin come out of the pearl that turns to dust and return to the land, mixing with it. The dust had traces of divinity, which greatly enhanced this area.

Su Jin opened his eyes slowly. They were now a deep blue color, like the crystal-clear seawater. His appearance changed somewhat as well. With the white, silky skin and ethereal beauty that only sirens and mermaids possess, he now has the appearance of a mermaid. Even his hair had taken on a sapphire hue with prominent water element highlights.

Right now, the Su Jin is united and one with all of the water in the world. He can now breathe underwater without effort. It did not surprise him that the only person grinning at him was Leica. He moved toward this gentle, older brother figure.

Su Jin spoke, ”Brother Leica, thank you for protecting me all along. Even though I canʼt speak, the water told me everything that was happening around me. Iʼve become a Deity of Water, but Iʼm only a demigod and not a real God like Lord Lanyu.”

”I understand. There is no need to explain further. How are you feeling?” Leica asked.

Su Jin sensed the elemental qi coursing through his body and the removal of the previous limitations. Most limitations on this worldʼs population were lifted after Roi, the Black Dragon King, consumed the Heavenly Laws. Everybodyʼs faith and might had been restrained by the haughty laws of heaven, keeping someone from becoming more powerful than themselves.

His desire for total control prevented everyone from progressing, including his apostlesʼ potential.

Su Jin answered, ”I feel unexpectedly refreshed. Thatʼs weird. Before I feel something is preventing me from reaching the peak of my potential. But that slight push from Lord Mo, loosen those chains and help me destroy them. It took a while for me to absorb all the energy.”

”You were having a hard time before as the Heavens was preventing you from going against its control. Now that itʼs gone, you have successfully become a demigod. Congratulations!” Leica said.

”Thank you, Brother Leica.”

Su Jin was pleased with her compliments. He was much more useless than the average person in his previous life, and everything about it seemed false. Only after his rebirth did he have the strength to battle beside Lu Ming, whom he adored.

As they conversed, the water shifted and swirled, creating a doorway that let Sea God Lanyu and Heavenly Guardian Fei pass through. He can teleport to any location on the ocean using water as the medium because he is the God who governs all of the water in this world. Sea God Lanyu, dragging his slothful student along, sensed the cherished child of water waking up and went to see how he was doing.

Sea God Lanyu said, ”Good work, child. This is a present from the ocean to you. Accept it.”

He handed Su Jin a weapon. It is a wand that has crystals of pure water incorporated in it. Its length makes it appear more like a trident because it is as tall as Su Jin. He can also be shielded from attacks by fire and electric elementals by a robe composed of scales and a thin veil formed of material that resembles water.

The robe belongs to Heavenly Guardian Fei, while the wand was gifted by Sea God Lanyu.

Heavenly Guardian Fei said, ”This robe is made from my scales. It can block any fire as long as you input qi in it. Well, the infamous black fire owned by Lord Ye is impossible to block, so donʼt try it at all.”

”Child of Water. I will leave the protection of the land to you and your lover. Remember, what you can control isnʼt only water. All liquid in all forms can be controlled by you except for special mutations like the ice of your friend. That one is under someone elseʼs jurisdiction even for me; itʼs impossible to control the ice with a higher godʼs blessing. May fate be with you,” Sea God Lanyu said.

Su Jin saluted and said, ”May fate be with you. Thank you for the gifts. Sea God and Heavenly Guardian, sirs.”

”Survive, brat,” Heavenly Guardian Fei said.

Su Jin said, ”Yes, I will do my best.”

”Go. Your other half needs your help,” Sea God Lanyu said as a few flying whales appeared from behind them.

These unique whales are descended from a mutant whale race, blessed by the sea deity Lanyu. They have the ability to fly. Leica and Su Jin returned on the flying whales.

Leica said, ”May fate be with you. Be free. Water is more powerful the purer your heart is.”

”Thank you for the advice, Senior!” Sea God Lanyu said.

Only then did Su Jin and Leica take off on their flying whale. The whale surfaced and leaped from the water. Although the sight of the flying whale startled some, they understood that this particular species of whale is one that is dedicated to the sea god. The mortals could only bow their heads in respect upon seeing it. Some claim to have seen Su Jin, as well as his sapphire eyes and hair.

He was worshipped by those mortals as the God of the Seaʼs servant and Prince of the Sea.

On this day, a massive flying whale was sighted. They watched it make its way to the Active Volcano Island, a floating island that was surrounded by lava, magma, and flames. Meanwhile, at the certain summit of the tallest volcano on the floating island.

At the top of the volcano lies a massive crater, but the hole in it is only slightly larger than it was previously, and a tiny wisp of crimson-gold flames from a special flame known as the Phoenix flames or Nirvana Flame blocked it.

Even if this flameʼs effects were a hundredth of those of a genuine Nirvana flame, this flame can nevertheless be regarded as holy by mortals. It possessed divine qualities and the capacity to purge everything bad in the world. Among all the fires in the world, this one is on a god-level.

After being compelled to use the last of the ice energy in the Frost Ice Orb he received from his cousin, Mo Yuhan was enlightened.

Lu Ming, on the other hand, had at last arrived at the spot where the wisp of Nirvana Flame was floating—one meter from the volcanoʼs center. The flames in the shape of a Phoenix was glaring at the helpless Lu Ming for every step he takes.

{Why are you so desperate, Mortal? Your body cannot hold on to the effects of my flame. You can control me and will just burn yourself, which would only result in being a pile of ashes,} The fire spirit said. {Your wind elements are already top-notch. I can see your connection to that wind deity watching over you. It must be thanks to him that you can control such a deadly wind.}

Lu Ming was startled for a bit and glanced back at his brother before looking back to the phoenix flame in front of him.

He asked, ”You can see through my elder brother?” Enjoy exclusive adventures from m-v lʼ-

{No. Whatever is inside him is a lot stronger than I am. Itʼs impossible to see through. I can just see the wind spirits reverting to him. Such reverence of elemental spirits are only for Gods above them. He is extremely powerful.

Much stronger than the Wood Elemental God standing beside him.}

Lu Ming smiled as if he thought of a way to scheme the fire spirit in front of him. ”There is someone else stronger than my brother. Unlike him, my cousin is a fire user like me. You might like him, but he might not need you. His flame is so much more powerful and deadly than you are.”

{Impossible! My flames can even contend with the true Phoenix fire. No ordinary mortal flame can defeat me.}

”What are you talking about? You see my brother, right? Does he look like a full mortal to you? Moreover, the one Iʼm talking about is someone even my brother respects. His flame is extremely special. It even has a unique color,” Lu Ming said.

{What is the color of that flame you are talking about?}

Lu Ming smirked, ”If you come with me, I will tell you about it!”

{Hmp! You are lying as if your brother will even follow someone elseʼs orders. Donʼt you know how powerful he is?}

Then they observed Lu Shang taking Ye Jieyeʼs call. Everyone in the vicinity could see the subsystemʼs live video call capability, and Ye Jieyeʼs face appeared on a thin screen that resembled a holographic projection. Everyone in the vicinity, even the fire spirit Nirvana Flame, could see Ye Jieyeʼs attractive face.

[Shang, I will be away for a while. Look for Leica and come back to the capital to protect my wife and children. The Ruins of Time is about to open.]

Lu Shang fell on one knee and responded, ”Yes, Milord!”

Ye Jieye abruptly ended the brief call from the other end without waiting for the others to finish speaking. Everyone in the vicinity was surprised by the information in this call.

Mo Yuhan exclaimed, ”The ruins of time are about to open?! Isnʼt there still supposed to be a month more?”

”We are already in the third month,” Ji Yoonjun said.

Lu Ming was stunned and said, ”The third month already! I... I didnʼt notice.”

”The time on this island moves slower. So you just felt that a month had just passed when in reality two months had gone by. I can feel Leica and Su Jin are about to come over. We will leave as soon as they arrive,” Lu Shang said.

Mo Yuhan looked at his friend worriedly, as he still hadnʼt taken away the fire spirit that could strengthen his fire elements.

”But Ming still hasnʼt...”

”Itʼs okay. Maybe it isnʼt for me. Big Brother, how long would Brother Leica and Xiao Jin take to come here?” Lu Ming asked as he chose to give up the Nirvana Flame wisp who didnʼt want to come with him.

Lu Shang was aware of the pride a fire spirit had. They would not simply come over to be tamed so readily, despite the fact that they were just as temperamental as Ice Spirits. Among the other elemental spirits, their temper is the shortest. Furthermore, he observed the fire spiritʼs shocked expression at seeing the Lord God.

The Lord God is in possession of the most exceptional and singular flame in existence, despite not being the God of Fire. The Hell Flames are the worldʼs deadliest and hottest fire. Additionally, their next prison will be built on the same basis. It is comparable to a fire that can destroy the soul of a god.

”They should be arriving soon. Treat your injuries and prepare to leave immediately upon their arrival,” Lu Shang said.

Watching the humans, who had been harassing him for days, suddenly give up like this, the Fire Spirit remained silent. He truly had a strong affection for the boy Lu Ming; of all the boys he had previously met, he had the strongest compatibility with him. The truth is, he was frightened of the apparition that had suddenly materialized before them.

There is a fierce fire all around the man that could swallow him up. That individual is genuinely in control of that hazardous black flame. Do they really require him at all?

The existence of Ye Jieyeʼs Hell Flame made the Nirvana Flame feel insignificant. Against someone that strong, a small wisp that is not even a true Nirvana flame would be of little use. That man also possesses a strong aura of darkness, which is the origin of the Hell Flames and allows them to burn eternally.
