I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1286: 18.124 First Grey Star - Schemes within the Capital

Heavenly Guardian Fei said, ”Help me! The entrance of my danger zone was blocked! My house was hit by lightning.”

”What did you say!?” Everyone exclaimed at the news Heavenly Guardian Fei had delivered, causing another commotion in the palace.

Everyone seated on the palace throne was in disbelief at Heavenly Guardian Feiʼs abrupt arrival and the news he gave. They were unaware of what had occurred in the Anairam Trench until they heard the specifics from this foolish fish.

Heavenly Fei described to them in detail how the water within the ditch suddenly ran out in an instant. The multicolored lightning he saw emerging from the core region is the reason behind it. It had more detrimental impacts than natural calamities. This colorful lightning had a single lethal thread.

Regardless of their class or rank, a large number of oceanic elements run out of the core region, which creates panic in the mid and outer regions. As a result, many hunters suffered injuries.

The Heavenly Guardian, who guards the danger zone, initially believed that a beast riot was taking place, but the quantity of these animals was insignificant in comparison to what transpired in the Mountain Ranges. In addition, the majority of them are hurting and dying as though there were some sort of madness occurring in the middle of the sea.

The walls on the outside area leading to the entrance had crumbled, and he wanted to investigate it himself. Heavenly Guardian Fei was forced to put the needs of the living ahead of the circumstances. He would have assumed that the walls would fall in and obstruct the entry once the individuals outside the trench were secured.

He did not give much mind to what was going on in the core area since he reasoned that maybe that dangerous pair was involved. All that concerned him were the others, particularly his subordinates, who had been trapped in the trench when it collapsed.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang stood up and hit the back of Heavenly Guardian Feiʼs head angrily.

”So itʼs not really an emergency! Stop scaring us. Donʼt you know we can hardly move people away from the capital right now?”

”Owie~ I still need a bit of help, especially from doctors and healers. There are a lot of injured people in my place. Eh? What do you mean you canʼt move? Something happened?” Heavenly Guardian Fei asked.

He was a closed fish in his own land, seldom hearing anything from the city. Until he was called, and there was a good reason, he would not have gone to the capital. Thus, he was unaware that there had been a recent issue involving the ruins of time.

Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said, ”Letʼs just cook this stupid fish!”

”I agree!” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said.

Heavenly Guardian Fei hugged himself and said, ”Iʼm not delicious! Half of me is still human. You want to become cannibals!”

”Monsters had started coming out of the Ruins of Time. Itʼs becoming frequent lately, and most of them cause a curse that involves time when killed. This is the third wave already. So we donʼt really have people to help you out. Itʼs better for you to find my grandsonʼs group. In their group, there are two highly skilled doctors and a healer.

Just find them in your zone after unblocking the entrance,” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue suggested.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said, ”While youʼre at it, once you find this old manʼs grandson, tell him what is happening in the capital and if he knows how to solve it. Inform him that the Seal on the Ruins of Time is loosening faster than he anticipated.”

”I donʼt mind leaving, but can you at least give me some tools and materials for curing humans? I donʼt have much in stock,” Heavenly Guardian Fei said.

King Wang Xingmo nodded his head and said, ”I will arrange it. Please inform Lord Ye and his wife about our situation. We donʼt know when we will fail to destroy the open or when the seal will be broken.”

”I will inform them as soon as I find them.”

Heavenly Guardian Fei took the items the palace had prepared for him and left right away. There were too many injuries in his place, so he did not spend too much time in the capital. He only makes a personal visit to notify and record lightning strikes on his property. There had never been an event like that colored lightning in human history.

He personally reported about it since he thought there might be any unreviewed records regarding it.

In the palaceʼs throne hall...

The gravity of the information on Heavenly Guardian Fei is remarkable; if they were not preoccupied with technical difficulties in the Ruins of Time realm, they would definitely look into it. flashed purple, red, and black lightning. While these events may seem like bizarre occurrences, the tape that Heavenly Guardian Fei gave them cannot be disputed.

Wang Xingmo said, ”Though I am worried about this colored lightning, the things at the dungeon are urgent. But I will send people to check the palaceʼs forbidden library about it, just in case.”

”I agree with the plans to evacuate the citizens. But to avoid chaos in the villages and towns, I will send a few officials to oversee them. Since they are asking permission to live on other peopleʼs land, they canʼt act tyrannical about it. They shall be punished if they break this rule.”

”I still have some young ones in my clan. They can help supervise what is happening outside the capital and look after the citizens,” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said.

Heavenly Guardian Gu said, ”There are only young ones left in my clan. The adults will remain in the capital with me. But I will send the children out with my son to help with regulating the citizens as well.”

”Then I shall do the same thing,” Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu said, ”You can send some to my town. There is a wide area outside my territory. They can camp there until the things here subside. As long as they arenʼt afraid of a sudden beast riot, well, you can send as you will.”

”Same as above. Itʼs okay as long as they donʼt bother my townʼs people. They can if they want to die though. My town is full of hunters; they can protect them if something happens in the Death Forest, but they arenʼt allowed to live in the town. My people hate outsiders after. Letting them stay for a few days wouldnʼt matter.

Months would be too much to bear. If some of your citizens are okay with that, then let them come to Numen Town,” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said.

There was no attachment between King Wang Xingmo and the people, as the Heavenly Guardians were aware. They were concerned that the dictator would force the common people to battle the monsters even though they were weak opponents, which is why they proposed the idea to evacuate the capitalʼs residents first.

”Okay, letʼs do as you said. I will send a decree to the city as soon as this meeting is finished. But what should be done to those who donʼt want to leave?” Wang Xingmo asked.

Doctor Sen raised his hand and said, ”Iʼll try to convince them. Give me a day. If they try to be convinced, then... do as you will.”

”Agreed!”

”I am asleep, agree!”

”Me too.”

”Same here.”

Finally, the conference was adjourned when the arrangements were finalized. After their return to the battlefield, the players started giving the hunters and knights on the field instructions. Those who had clans in the city temporarily returned home and gave orders to their families. Numen Town was the destination for the children and those incapable of fighting.

It is not a destination that the people of the capital would pick. This village has a reputation for booting guests who stay too long.

They can be regarded as a half-family because the young lordʼs spouse is a member of their clan. Nevertheless, they will still opt to dwell outside the town, with the exception of children who are unable to defend themselves and will reside within. Just like the Mo Clan, the Lu Clan followed suit.

Gu Clan ordered his people to disperse and stay outside of the danger area with the residents of the other villages. Since the majority of his people are fighters, they can be allowed to stay in the town or villages in exchange for serving as guards.

Upon learning that the previous prime minister and monarch were in Somatic Town, a few locals were also received by Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu and Doctor Sen. The majority of these men back Wang Xingyun and Fu Zin. They then headed to Somatic Town.

The capital can be considered abandoned after barely three days. While a few decide to stay, the majority are hired guns from back alleyways. These are Wang Xingmoʼs hidden people. Nobody is aware of his preparations. More mercenaries entered the city after the people left. Since they have some idea of why these people are here, the Heavenly Guardians of Lu, Mo, and Mu do not really care.

Wang Xingmo had sat on the throne for months, yet the struggle for it has not even come to an end. The Second Prince Xingju, who is still missing, is a rival for the throne.

In the Tower of Gods...

Second Prince Xingju had assembled a few people, some human and some from a different race. He had finished getting ready to battle for the throne. These people were standing behind Second Prince Xingju, who was facing the throne.

{So your preparations are done. Thatʼs good. You can make a move when Ye Jieye returns to the capital this time. When he does, you can fulfill your contract with me. Just donʼt let your guard down. After all, for me, everything is a game.}

Second Prince Xingju said, ”I know. I will definitely bring to you what you want. But that is the territory of the Mo Clan. Didnʼt you say there is another god there? Wonʼt he catch me if Iʼve done such a thing?”

{Donʼt worry. He doesnʼt care about discarding one. As long as you donʼt do anything else but take what you need, they wonʼt care at all, even if you kill yourself in front of them.}

There was a hint of laughter in his voice. Although he was being caustic, Wang Xingju was not too bothered by it. There is one thing that confuses him, the Mo Clan is supposed to have just one god, right? Why does he say ”them” so much? Even if the Second Prince inquired about it, he knew that the man would not respond. He made the decision to forego asking and to launch his planʼs initial phase.

He desired that some of his people become part of the hunter-knight community on the battlefield where the Ruins of Time are situated. He has only one chance to bring his father and the officials behind him to ruin.

The Second Prince looked at the darkening sky from the open window of the tower. For some reason, the changes on the moon gave him a creepy feeling, but this also felt like a new beginning for him. But what he didnʼt know was that the man on the throne was looking at him with dullness and boredom in his crimson eyes.

Obviously, he had gotten bored of this little game of his and was only waiting to get what he wanted, so he played along with this Second Prince Xingju on the surface.

Tun Shizheʼs thoughts before once again closing his eyes. {I wonder how this thing will react when he sees someone who isnʼt supposed to be there appear in that place. Whatever, as long as I get what I want, the others donʼt matter.}

He recently set fire to the covert letter he got from Nameless, the demon. Like the Second Prince, the countryʼs current king had gotten in touch with him once and let the other pawn affect the course of events.
