I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1293: 18.131 First Grey Star - Arriving at the Active Volcano Island

Arrival at the Active Volcano Island

There is a significant difference in distance from the Anairam Trench to the capital city, the danger zone, and Active Volcano Island. Compared to the latter, the former is closer. Therefore, even though Lu Shang and Lu Mingʼs party set out earlier than the Ye family and his group did, the later group reached their goal first.

A few hundred meters above the surface is a floating island called the Island Volcano. After floating up a few hundred years ago, this island never came down from the sky, so anyone who wanted to visit it had to be able to fly. It is a section of land or underwater volcano that the deranged ancient god unintentionally erupted.

Their little island had arrived safely thanks to the two brothers Lu Ming and Lu Shangʼs use of wind components. There are several lava monsters that live there and consume lava and magma on a daily basis. The entire island is shielded from the outside world by a thin barrier. Lu Wangle, the ancestor of the Lu Clan, is the proprietor of this dangerous area.

This is also the birthplace of his flame lion. Flame lions can only be found at this location. That is a beast that consumes fire and lava, after all.

Of the four, Mo Yuhan was the most taken aback by the volcanoʼs landscape but also felt a little intimidated by it. After all, he used to be weak against fire and is now an ice user.

However, his ice ability had considerably changed after Mo Xuejing (Hei Anjing) gave him an Ice Frost ball made from Eternal Ice; at the very least, only a special fire like dragon breath or phoenix fire can readily melt his ice. For regular ice such as this one. His ice would take a long time to melt. Regarding his fire phobia, that was merely his old instinct coming back.

A group of volcanoes of various sizes that make up the Active Volcano Island are encircled by lava and magma. Occasionally, these volcanoes would blow up. However, the Lu Clan had long noted that the volcanoes might erupt at a specific time, so they do not just blow up at random. Because they are members of the Lu Clan, Lu Shang and Lu Ming were fully aware of this.

As the heir to guard this hazardous zone, Ye Jieye also knew, at least, who the previous Ye Jieye was.

The sound and sight of exploding volcanoes, lava streaming down the sides of the earth, and a few creatures swimming in the lava like they were taking a bath in a hot spring. This island has fewer flora because the majority of it is covered in lava and is still burning. Because the monsters in this area had fur or magma covering their skin, they blended in nicely on the island.

Mo Yuhan commented, ”This place is amazing as always and so freaking hot.” Steam billowed from him like melting dry ice. Unlike other ice elemental ability users who would have passed out as soon as they arrived on the island, at least he was only feeling the heat.

Lu Ming said to his sworn brother without saying his words. ”Yuhan, you look like a steaming pot of soup.”

”What did you say!? Grr~” Mo Yuhan said.

Lu Ming laughed at him upon seeing the steam get thicker as his mood flared.

Pfft! Hahahahaha~

The two brats, who act like silly kids playing around, are ignored by Lu Shang and Ji Yoonjun. They sensed the distinct and potent presence of fire as soon as they set foot on the island. They recognize this presence instantly since it is the soul wisp of a legendary monster.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Lord Lu, this... this familiar presence of fire. Is it the Nirvana Flame?”

”A bit similar, but itʼs too weak to be considered a real Nirvana Flame. At least, an embryo. Though it seems to be dying, there is nothing in this world that could support its group,” Lu Shang said as he finally grabbed his younger brotherʼs back collar, almost choking him in the process.

Choke! Cough. Cough.

Lu Ming said, ”Big brother?”

”Stop playing around, especially you, Yuhan. There is something on this island that can confront your ice. Hold the remnant ice frost orb from Lord Mo. It can protect you at certain times,” Lu Shang said.

The two young menʼs expressions changed to serious ones the instant they heard Lu Shangʼs statements. Something special and potent must be needed to be able to melt Mo Yuhanʼs mutant Frost Ice.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Stay on guard. Especially Mo Yuhan. You and I will most likely be its first target. After all, you are ice and I am a wood elemental user.”

Lu Ming and Mo Yuhan both nod in accord. Mo Yuhan continued to grasp the frost ice sphere in his hand while Lu Shang inquired. However, they had no idea where to go; only Lu Ming knew the location of the item he was looking for in this location. However, the groupʼs two gods sense a distinct fire emanating from the largest volcano.

Lu Shang asked, ”Where to go?”

”The voice that is calling me is coming from the tallest volcano. How weird; why do I feel that itʼs at the peak of that volcano?” Lu Ming said.

Naturally, when Lu Shang and Ji Yoonjun heard what Lu Ming had to say, they were certain that this childʼs chance was to create a Nirvana flame embryo in this dangerous area. It is merely that the flame of Nirvana is not only special. It also has purifying properties. This flame has the power to harm the Chief Warden, an evil god.

Lu Shang looked over his inventory of extra robes and gear. He has a space inventory in his soul, much like all gods. He keeps some of his loverʼs clothes safe in there, as well as extra outfits, robes, armor, and weapons. Black robes from the Nether System are able to block the majority of the effects of hell flames.

The Netherworld, the domain of the God of Void, is a haze of hellfire that burns inmates who attempt to break free from the Nether Prison. They can stand close to this stunning but incredibly hazardous obsidian flame as long as they do not come into contact with it because the wardenʼs outfit shields them from the hell flames.

He pulled out the backup uniform fit for a regular warden. Despite the robeʼs basic black color, the materials used to make it are unique to low-class worlds such as this one. He donned the armor and robes of his chief warden and delivered a few to the three. He declined to put on his helmet.

Mo Yuhan and Lu Ming were astounded to see three black robes materialize in Lu Shangʼs hands out of nowhere. Another explanation astonished Ji Yoonjun. He is astounded to see that they are borrowing warden outfits from the Chief Warden of Nether Prison. It can not quite match the upgraded Chief Wardenʼs clothing, but it can certainly put out the phoenix flame.

Lu Ming said, ”How did you...” He didnʼt completely answer his question when he noticed Lu Shangʼs cold eyes. This means the one in front of him is the god living in his brotherʼs body.

Chief Warden Lou commanded, ”Wear to block the flames. Return it after we leave.” He once again returned the control to Lu Shang.

Mo Yuhan knew that in the bodies of Lu Shang, Leica, and maybe in his cousin and cousin-in-lawʼs bodies, God inhibits. So sometimes the demeanor of these people would change. Lu Ming can differentiate his brother from the holy one in him almost instinctively.

Lu Ming politely lowered his head and said, ”Thank you, Lord.”

”Is that the Venerable Lord inside your brother? He can even bring this out of thin air,” Mo Yuhan whispered to his sworn brother.

Ji Yoonjun immediately wore the black robe over his clothes and said, ”Stop wasting time. Wear the robe over your clothes. This robe is special; it can protect us from fire, lava, and magma. Itʼs not something in this world.”

Like Ji Yoonjun, Mo Yuhan and Lu Ming put on the slender black robe that they were holding after giving it some thought. The temperature surrounding them dropped significantly as soon as they put on the robe, and they felt as though their own temperature had returned to normal. Mo Yuhanʼs white smoke stopped.

”This robe is amazing. Donʼt tell me this is what Godʼs wearing?” Mo Yuhan asked without any meaning at all. His tongue spoke these words without thinking, but when he saw the small smile at the corner of Ji Yoonjunʼs face, his face turned a bit panicky. It seems that his random guess was the correct one.

”For real?” Lu Ming asked.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”This is a uniform that I donʼt possess. A special robe with the effect of blocking all kinds of flames in the world. What clothing do you think it is?”

”Block fire. Is it because of that opportunity I got? Is it that dangerous?” Lu Ming asked.

Lu Shang said, ”Yes, it must be dangerous if he lends us these robes. Okay, letʼs get going.”

The three continue their journey and head to the tallest and largest volcano on the island. They still need to hike the tallest volcano and go to the peak.

Meanwhile, the other group that was flying back to the capital city...

Only his master, his masterʼs spouse, and his masterʼs offspring were carried by Roi. And the other hunters, well, they rode on the back of their own flying mount. Though it is a beast like a bird that hunters purchase for long distance travel, these birds were nonetheless slower than a dragon. Mo Xuejing dozing out in his husbandʼs arms. The two cubs bravely play tag on the dragonʼs massive frame.

In Mo Xuejingʼs dream, he suddenly woke up in a world full of mirrors. Even, though the scenes on the other mirrors are completely blurred, I still looked around the bizarre realm. Stay connected with m-v l|eʼ-

Mo Xuejing mumbles, ”Where the hell am I?”

As he moved about, he saw that, one by one, the mirrors were disappearing. Before Mo Xuejing, there were just two mirrors left, and this time, what was visible to the naked eye was shown to him. The scene in the mirror startled him. An apocalyptic scene is shown in the first scene. The world around him is in ruins while he carries their children and holds his husbandʼs hand.

Upon closer inspection, he recognized these ruins.

Big flying stones dropped from the sky, destroying every building, and the region was littered with dead bodies, smoke, and flames. In addition, there are several creatures approaching from all sides. In addition, he sent the bodies of every Guardian of Heaven, including Mo Xinyue, his grandpa.

The terrifying experience overcame Mo Xuejing to the point where she almost fainted. Besides, he recognized a lot of faces from the scattered bodies. Lu Shang, Leica, him, and his spouse engaged in combat with the animals. Apart from them, there is just that weird guy wearing a black cloak who is standing next to him, smiling threateningly.

Mo Xuejing saw the man in black robes emerge rapidly and stand in front of him, as if he were actually seeing the action. stroking his cheeks tenderly, as though he were the most valuable person. Suddenly, he heard the man talking.

{Wait for a bit longer. After I kill ʼhimʼ, you shall become mine.}

Mo Xuejing emerged from the mirror, feeling as though his soul was being sucked out. Mo Xuejing was afraid of what he had just seen because the scene kept replaying in the right mirror. He covered his face and noticed that his hands were shaking.

”Who the hell is that?” He mumbles, fear hidden within his words.
