I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1289: 18.127 First Grey Star - God of Sea, Lanyu II

Sea God Lanyu was startled out of his spot by an abrupt heaviness, and he landed loudly on the ocean floor. His apostles were taken aback since they had not anticipated this. Their lord was being carried inside the barrier containing the humans, despite their wishes to approach him. Sadly, despite their best efforts, they were unable to breach the barrier that appeared to be a bubble.

Sea God Lanyu was unable to speak. Even though he was now a god, he felt weak and undifferentiated for some reason. He is not at all comfortable. Preceding his comprehension of his circumstances, a kind and attractive man extends his hand in an attempt to assist him in standing up.

Leica asked, ”Are you alright? You should avoid peeking at the lords for too long. Lord Ye gets jealous so easily.”

The hunters in the area stare at Sea God Lanyu.

”Is that God?”

”Wow~ he looks so gorgeous!”

”Is he a man? He looks more beautiful than that Heavenly Guardian mermaid called Fei!”

”Stop pushing! Canʼt you see the instructor glaring!?”

Lu Shang shouted, ”Disperse! What are you gathering here for? Go back to sleep! Or you wanted to have a late training instead!”

”N-No. No. Weʼre going to sleep!”

”I just came out to pee.”

”I donʼt want to train. I donʼt want to train anymore!”

Leica assisted Sea God Lanyu in getting to his feet. Lu Shang, meanwhile, was shooing the others away and ordering them to keep their distance from the visitors. The Sea Godʼs aura was too strong to be disregarded, and as for the apostles, it forced them to cease beating at the barrier.

Doctor Hei also took away his slanderous twin brother, whose eyes gleamed at the sight of the sea god, after the other humans had scattered.

Doctor Guang said, ”Let me go, Hei! I want to see it. Let me see the Sea God!”

”Donʼt be an idiot, brother! You cannot approach God abruptly. Youʼll get punished,” Doctor Hei said as he was pulling his twin brother back to their tent.

Pouting, Doctor Guang was dragged like a sack of potatoes on the ground, leaving traces of the line of his legs pulled along.

”Boo~ canʼt I just meet him once? Thatʼs a real God, right?” Doctor Guang said.

Doctor Hei glanced at Ji Yoonjun, who shook his head and said something to his brother. ”As if there is a fake one. No! Try it tomorrow.”

”Eh~~ fine. hmp!” Doctor Guang said as the twins disappeared into the tent.

Leica said, ”AʼMing, Yuhan, you guys also take a rest. We will do the guard duties.”

”Okay, bro, letʼs go!” Mo Yuhan said.

Lu Ming struggles, ”Stop pulling! Youʼll tear my clothes!”

Mo Yuhan shoved his brother back inside the tent as well. He believed that no matter what was said next, the two of them could not listen. All those who remained were gods, something that Sea God Lanyu also observed. This group of gods consists of three or more. Since mortals are unable to see through gods, the human was unaware that they were gods when he first came.

However, now that he is a god, he can readily distinguish between mortals and gods. The three in front of him were, at the absolute least, gods. With the last one having the same strength as him and the other two stronger than him.

Sea God Lanyu greeted the ones in front of him. ”Greetings to the Venerable Ones.”

”No need to be so official. You are a God yourself after all. Though you have received some information about the beyond, there are still some questions in your mind. We can answer your question if you have any,” Leica said.

Working as someone who could speak instead of his master, Lord Hei, made Leica feel nicer than the cold-blooded Lu Shang or the quiet Ji Yoonjun. Even if he converses with strangers, his master handles all of his interactions.

After realizing that these people were gods, Sea God Lanyu momentarily paused but quickly realized that they would not support mortals or anything from this world. Gods are classified according to the information he acquire from beyond. Low-level gods, often known as deities or demigods, are identified by their white auras. That was his pre-ascension state.

This type of god is considered the weakest of all; they can even be less powerful than the celestial laws governing their planet.

A fully realized God is the weakest of the Heavenly Laws in terms of strength. To put it briefly, they are the combined wills of all people, not actual gods, yet they may take on any shape at any time they want.

They resemble a set of data in each world, to put it briefly. A Heavenly Law can occasionally reincarnate as a fully sentient being, but this is uncommon and needs a catalyst to happen. Since they share the same soul, they require a companion or saint who can watch over the world while they are gone. This companion must never betray them in any way. If one passes away, the other will follow.

So, soulmates are two beings that share a single soul.

Highgods are gods above gods. They have an aura of light gold. At this level is the God in Ji Yoonjunʼs body and the Sea God Lanyu. They are regarded as moderately powerful divinities in Vearth. God kings are at the level above. They have auras that are either green-gold or green-black.

Good gods are the only ones with green-gold auras, while only bad gods can have green-black auras.

Many benevolent and evil deities coexist on Vearth, albeit they serve distinct purposes. The former are mostly employed by the God System, while the latter are wardens for the Nether System. Mythological gods follow god kings; they are primarily blue and may be distinguished from evil gods by pairing them with either gold or black. The gods of the heavens come next.

The majority of the heavenly gods of Vearth are skilled fighters and are referred to as war gods. They entered several planets to battle other races seeking to take over other realms.

These gods are few in number and regarded as elders. They had an aura of crimson that varied in tone; the darker the aura, the more potent the heavenly deity. There were no other gods with a more intense crimson aura than Hei Anjing when he was merely an executioner. However, it diminished as a result of wounds he sustained while collecting the God of Voidʼs soul bits.

Similar to the other cultivation stages, celestials can have red-gold and red-black auras.

Warden Yun Ming is a celestial god. When he was still the god of fate, he was only a mythical god. But after living hundreds of years in the Nether System, his cultivation greatly increased after he was pardoned. He received merits for doing his missions, which not only washed away his sin but also greatly increased his cultivation.

There are immortal gods after celestial gods. Such gods are quite uncommon. After sovereign gods, they may be considered the strongest gods. In contrast to sovereign gods, who originate, immortal gods represent the pinnacle of divinityʼs attainable cultivation. Their aura was purple, which is a sign of grandeur and strength. This is Chief Warden Louʼs level.

The only number of gods that are capable of reaching this rank is manually counted.

The sovereign gods are entities that have their origins within them. Similar to the God of Origin and the God of End, their origins are unknown. They were said to have been produced by the universe. Thus, like them, those made by their hands can likewise be regarded as sovereign gods.

Hunluan, their son, is also a sovereign. He is the God of Chaos as well. Shen Siwang, the God of Creation and Light, is another. Regarding his spouse, Mo Baojun, he was able to reincarnate as the sovereign God of Life and Gods after gaining one of the authorities from the God of Void because half of his soul had been merged with Siwang.

The way it works is that Hunluan, the God of Chaos, is the offspring of the Origin God and the God of End. Hunluan created a world out of loneliness, but negativity was his source, and this being was born to devour anything, including itself.

The God of Origin and the God of End created the darkness (Void) with the power of life and death and the light with the power of creation when Hunluan and the World Eater destroyed each other. This is to create a balance between the good and the evil, the light and the darkness.

More worlds were formed, and empty universes were filled by the Gods of Creation and Void. They then built a house they named Vearth. Numerous races, including humans, dragons, elves, spirit races, demons, and more, were born out of the planets they built. Some of these lesser entities achieved ascension as more time went by.

A selected few were allowed to reside on Vearth, the world of the God of Creation and Void.

Once the God of Void died, he gave his power to the other half of his alter persona, an immortal god by the name of Mo Baojun. Having this power aids Mo Baojun in his development into a sovereign deity, much like his spouse Shen Siwang. The God of Void was reborn shortly after the incarnation and is now known as Ye Xiajie.

He reconnected with the child he had saved at the end of his life, now an adult member of the Sovereign of Life and Deathʼs family. Once more, their futures intertwined, as though their beginnings and ends had been interwoven from the start.

Back to reality...

Noticing the faint color of darkness mixing with shades of purple and red, Sea God Lanyu was a bit confused, but this didnʼt stop him from showing his courtesy towards his seniors.

Sea God Lanyu asked, ”Are seniors from the world beyond this one?”

”Hm. There are lots of worlds beyond this one we are in. It can be said that we came from the Upper Realm called Vearth, the world where only Gods live. That will also be your first destination after ascension. Once you leave your world, that will be the first world you can enter. Going into other worlds wouldnʼt be allowed until you go there once.

Because all worlds are under the control of Sovereigns in Vearth,” Leica explained.

Sea God Lanyu mumbles, ”Upper Realm. Vearth. World of Gods.”

The others didnʼt stop Lanyu from thinking of things about the world beyond. They waited patiently, as they knew how shocking it was for a newly born god to hear this information.

Sea God Lanyu asked his second question. ”Can you guys revive someone?”

As if expecting this question from Sea God Lanyu, Leica smiled. ”I canʼt, but someone in Vearth can. Especially for your case, in which a fragment of that personʼs soul lives in you. To revive him, first you must make his soul stronger, and second, you must gather materials to recreate his body. Those materials can only be found in Vearth.”

As soon as Sea God Lanyu heard that he could revive his ancient lord, Cthulhu, he showed an expression that didnʼt fit a god. He acted so happily that no one would mistake him for a sentimental being like mortals.

”Really? What do I need to do?!” Sea God Lanyu asked with urgency in his voice, mixed with excitement after finding some hope to regain his only family.

Lu Shang spoke, ”Itʼs simple. You just need to work. In Vearth, most things are based on points. These points can also be called merits. There are job openings in Vearth, and you need to work hard with enough points to at least do anything you want. The materials you need to create a body need a lot of points.

So do your best.”

”Work. Points. What kind of work can a god do? Look after the world or something?” Sea God Lanyu asked.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”You are not stupid. Thatʼs right, the work of a god involves worlds. Well, you will understand the rest once you reach Vearth. There will be someone to guide you once you get there.”

”How can I go to Vearth? Moreover, should I go now? Isnʼt this world in danger?” Sea God Lanyu asked. The other three gods were a bit stunned to hear that this new god still cared for this world that not only controlled him to kill his family but also wanted to kill him.
