I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1285: 18.123 First Grey Star - Sea God Lanyuʼs End of Tribulation

Everyone involved in this tribulation had different reactions as the final strike of the tribulation lightning for Sea God Lanyuʼs ascension began to collect. Some people are concerned about it, including Ji Yoonjun, who was hoping that things would not get worse, and Sea God Lanyu, who is the intended target.

In silence, the two systems and the two wardens watched, waiting for the last bolt of lightning to fall so they could respond appropriately.

A pair that remained composed and unconcerned during their wait were Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing. Doctor Hei, meanwhile, is drenched in cold perspiration and staring anxiously at the faded colors of the black clouds. The clouds turn from scarlet to a shade darker than charcoal gray. The expressions of Ji Yoonjun and others are more repulsive the darker the cloud cover.

There are stages to thunderʼs anguish. The strongest colors are black, blue, purple, red, and gold, while white is the weakest.

Usually, White Leifa were just ordinary hardships brought on by the ascent of gods and demigods. High gods are represented by a tribulation with purple leifa, god-kings with red leifa, mythological gods with gold leifa, celestial gods with blue leifa, and immortal gods with black leifa.

It is only possible for someone to become a sovereign if they were born as one, or if they become the other half of a born sovereign, such as Mo Baojun, the other half of Shen Siwang.

Furthermore, every sovereign has the ability to build its own planet. In the case of close-knit sovereigns, they co-create the world, as exemplified by the creation of Vearth by Shen Siwang and Ye Xiajie, or the Cloud World and Ancient World by the God of End and Origin. Regarding the Tyrant God, Mo Baojun, he is the one who made God and the Nether System on Earth.

However, it is clear that Sea God Lanyuʼs lightning trial is a hoax. After all, the adjustments made by the Heavenly Laws went above and beyond what was typically required of ascended gods in the lower realm. All he should have to deal with is a white leifa trial. He broke the law because he believed that the Heavenly Laws wanted to kill him and because someone cruel was supporting his conceit.

This backer had the power to summon the darkest shade of Leifa, the greatest level. The suffering that was reserved for those gifted with the ability to live forever. However, a low-tier world like this one can be easily destroyed by this black leifa; it cannot fall into this world or it would be annihilated entirely.

Ji Yoonjun turned pale while looking at the darkening clouds. ”B-Black... Thatʼs a Black Leifa!”

”Um! This is a bit dangerous. Letʼs just call Milord for help. Lord Hei is also good. Maybe chaos is not bad itself,” Zhi Yue said as he panicked. He obviously had no power to stop such tribulations that could even turn an immortal into ashes.

The Chief Warden and Zhi Yang can most likely block it, but they would be half dead afterward, and as for the rest of them, they would definitely turn into ash.

Zhi Yang patted his alter egoʼs head and said it with his usual doting expression. ”Yueʼer, donʼt be afraid. The Lord God is here.”

”Letʼs descend. This isnʼt something we can handle,” Lu Shang said as he covered the rear and let his comrades descend before him. Besides him, Zhi Yang was also quite vigilant. This lesson is quite random and unpredictable. It can strike without you knowing, or it can strike you not at all. Experience new tales on m v|l e-NovelFire

The God of Void did not even register that his followers were backing down. His wife is still the object of his flirtations, and he is really indifferent to the post-apocalyptic landscape that lies on the other side of the barrier. Their minions had returned, but he did not recognize it until he felt individuals approaching the barrier.

He noticed the black thunder forming above their heads as he peered upward.

Ye Jieye said, ”A Tribulation for Immortals. Something of this level, there are only a few who can cause it. That one in Mo Clan is too lazy to care about this, so it wouldnʼt be him then. It can only be the bastard from the tower.”

His expression darkened slightly as he began to believe that the man atop the tower had some sort of connection to him. This implies that he will be responsible for everything that occurs here as karma, which is really bothersome to consider.

”That bastard is making me clean up his ass,” Ye Jieye mumbles as he pulls out the sleeping black dragon from the small world.

A groggy black dragon appeared in thin air, it was quite big and didnʼt fit in the barrier, so except for its head, most of its body was curled outside.

ro~ar

Mo Xuejing pats the head of the sleepy dragon. ”Why did he look sleepy?”

”It was scared off when something wanted to eat it alive. So it turns its fear into appetite. After eating too much, it becomes sleepy,” Ye Jieye said. ”He can eat that lightning and get stronger.”

Mo Xuejing said, ”Thatʼs good. Roi, go eat that black thing.”

”Stop. You can only eat after it strikes that eel once,” Ye Jieye said.

Roar!

Nearby, Sea God Lanyu, encircled by a fissure in the golden barrier, was experiencing some weakness as a result of internal injuries. However, he was aware that he had to continue since, should he drop his defenses, he would perish. Shutting his eyes, he collected all of his energy into his heart.

The gap in the ancient godʼs barrier was fixed, and it became thicker and stronger, as his heart began to light brightly once more.

The Heavenly Laws are about to lose their minds in the meanwhile. He found it incomprehensible that this mortal might perish regardless of his actions. He made the decision to make use of every power he had borrowed from that dealer. It was unaware that the Venerable itself intended to use him in order to destroy this planet and take possession of the globe it possessed.

{This deity canʼt understand! Why canʼt they kick the bucket!? Wherefore did they not just kick the bucket!? Thee shouldnʼt have existed! I shalt ʼrase thy existence nay, mattʼr what!}

Translation: [This deity canʼt understand! Why canʼt you die!? Why donʼt you just die!? You shouldnʼt have existed! I shall erase your existence, no matter what!]

Lanyu, the Sea God, lacked the strength to respond to the haughty remarks from the skies. Even though he is giving it everything he has, he concentrates more on defense. His hands come together in prayer, and his heart glows even more. He is praying for that one existence that has kept him alive to this day rather than for the Heavenly Laws that lie ahead of him.

All he can do is stare as the black thunder, shaped like a dragon, crashes down over his head. Despite the terrifying sight of the thunder dragonʼs mouth advancing toward him, he experienced serenity rather than terror in his heart. The only comfort he finds is the knowledge that he will always be able to go to the hereafter with his lord. He hopes, at least.

However, as he was ready to close his eyes, he became aware of a quiet giggle next to him.

Chuckles~

This deep yet ethereal and kind voice felt so familiar to him, making Sea God Lanyuʼs heart beat fast.

{Donʼt give up until the end, my precious little one. Iʼm by your side and will always be with you. Never be afraid.}

Abruptly, Cthulhuʼs entire human silhouette from his soul materialized behind Sea God Lanyu. The young convert let out a happy cry upon seeing this familiar-looking face, yet he was unable to touch him at all, no matter how close he got. Sea God Lanyu can only look on as his Ancient God, his eight tentacles grasping the black thunder in the shape of a dragon, reaches out a hand towards the heavens.

Another black thunder blasted them after the first one was squeezed out. This time, Cthulhuʼs soul form gave his tiny believer a hug and bided his time. He was aware that the cultivators would take care of the remaining blows if he managed to stop the initial one.

ROOOOAAAAAARRRR~

There was an enormous, gorgeous dragon that roared loudly above. Roi began consuming it as he flew toward the clouds of heavenʼs torment. The manifested copy of the Heavenly Laws is this tribulation cloud. It is a component of the sky. Therefore, the Heavenly Laws suffered the agony of being devoured alive as Roi, the Black Dragon, gnawed on food.

The clouds began to scream in excruciating anguish, but the Dragon was unforgiving, treating them like cotton candy. One by one, it bit until there was nothing left.

{AAAAHHHHHHH!!!}

Burped!

The swollen black dragon soared down after finishing its meal, and its master let him go back to the small world to recover and process his food. After the tribulation clouds cleared, Sea God Lanyuʼs body was hit by a golden light pillar. He was unexpectedly enveloped in a golden cocoon beneath everyoneʼs gaze, starting his own divine metamorphosis.

The region is filled with the blessings of the skies. Everything that exists in this area, both alive and nonliving, is gradually recreated and given birth to by it.

Under this light, everything was restored to its previous state, even the evaporated seawater from when the tribulation had started, and even the apostles of the Moray Eel God who had been made insane and executed were brought back to life.

Those who were observing were indifferent, amazed, or relieved. The Ye family, who had gone to reheat their late lunch, which is now an early dinner, can relate to the final one in particular.

Ji Yoonjun muttered, ”He succeeded. Though the red and black leifa was something unexpected and not included in his tribulation, he still defended it well. What will his cultivation be after coming out?”

”Considering he passed the Purple Leifa tribulation, he can be at least a high god, though he had the possibility of being a god-king after coming out,” Leica said.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Thatʼs quite amazing.”

”Even if he became a god, if he chose to revive that ancient god in him, he would only become a normal God afterward. That heart in him wasnʼt his after all, and itʼs the only medium to revive its original owner,” Lu Shang said.

Ji Yoonjun asked, ”Do you think he will choose to revive him as well?”

Leica pretended to not hear the last two words and said, ”He will. But he will need to work for the God System to gather the resources to recreate the body.”

”Forget about him. The Heavenly Laws can no longer touch him. There is no need to care much about him. I am more worried that those two brats havenʼt woken up despite all those troubles,” Lu Shang said. He was talking about Lu Ming and Su Jin.

Leica said, ”We can still wait for a bit. Doctor Hei, wakes up the rest of them. Tell them to eat and prepare to leave later.”

”Y-Y-Yes!” said Doctor Hei, appearing more submissive than previously. He could not have known what he had seen. Like walking into a different planet. He was both afraid and amazed by it.

While the others wait patiently for the others to eat and wake up. Things are not looking good in the capital. Every time there was an increase in the frequency of glitches from the ruins of time, more people died. Even worse, taking down the monsters that emerged from the space holes will take time as payback or retaliation. It was not just aging this time.

It has to do with their training, recollections, and experiences. The majority of celestial guardians have convened because the situation in the city is so bad.

Capital City, Imperial Palace...

The Heavenly Guardians were welcomed to King Wang Xingmoʼs castle, and the alterations to the Ruins of Time entryway were meticulously arranged. The creaturesʼ frequent escapes from that uncharted world had become routine, and they happened at random times with no set schedule.

In the middle of the night, when everyone is sleeping, or in the morning, when everyone is eating breakfast, monsters can arrive out of nowhere. They lost more hunters and knights as a result of this.

Heavenly Guardian Gu said, ”We can only evacuate the citizens. It is dangerous for them to remain in the city.”

”I agree with Lao Gu with this. We can hardly fight seriously with too many people to protect,” Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle said.

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said, ”But the outside isnʼt that safe either. That former hole in the sky and that strange lightning as if it can slash the heavens above. Both of them happened outside the city.”

”There is an option of moving them to the towns under our jurisdiction, but... with all of us in the capital, what will we do if a beast riot happens?” Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang said.

Wang Xingmo spoke, ”Please calm down. If the danger zone is also dangerous, we can only ask the citizens to move to small villages and towns outside the city. It would be closer and away from the other danger zones.”

”There is also that option, but...” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue said, but before he could continue his words, someone forcefully opened the door, revealing a humanoid version of Heavenly Guardian Fei.

Heavenly Guardian Fei said, ”Help me! The entrance of my danger zone was blocked! My house was hit by lightning.”

”What did you say!?” Everyone exclaimed with the news Heavenly Guardian Fei had delivered, causing another commotion in the palace.
