I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1296: 18.134 First Grey Star - Translated Passage of words.

The king, Wang Xingmo, and the Heavenly Guardians had a lot of trouble dealing with the third wave of monsters that emerged from the Ruins of Time. They had hardly had time to relax after fighting nonstop for a month. Over time, these creaturesʼ curses had an impact and caused great suffering for those who dared to oppose them.

Thank goodness, the Ye family made a comeback that evening and assisted in taking out the monsters till the third wave had passed. With the blessing of time, Ye Jieye bestowed the curses of time upon his wife and children when one of the Ye Family members slew a monster from the ruins, adding to the familyʼs immense power and prowess.

Everyone had gathered at the palace after the monsters were defeated, and most had obeyed the royal order to leave the city. Thus, the majority of city homes are vacant. The majority of the Heavenly Guardiansʼ clan was transported away, and this includes their palaces. To rest, they began congregating in the palace.

But in actuality, monsters prevented Ye Jieye and his family from even being able to close their eyes and go to sleep before they returned.

Ye Jieye looks closely at the entrance to the ruins and the seal. His somber expression suggested that he was troubled internally. He did not turn to face his wife until Mo Xuejing grasped his hand.

Mo Xuejing said, ”You keep looking at the dungeon. What did you find out?”

”The seal is already useless at this point. I can hold it back for a bit, but that itself would only hold on for three months before the entrance completely opens. When the seal on the door disappeared and the door to this dungeon opened, the Calamity of the Land would begin,” Ye Jieye said.

Mo Xuejing was previously aware of the three disasters. He was so rather taken aback to hear that had they not returned, the landʼs disaster would have occurred sooner. There are now only three months left for all land-dwelling races before the dungeonʼs creatures emerge.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang, who was standing beside the couple, overheard their conversation and asked, ”What is the calamity of the land you are talking about? Does it involve these ruins of time?”

”Yes, Grandpa Mu. This dungeon itself was the cause of the land calamity. As for further information, we should change places. There are too many you need to be treated in this place,” Mo Xuejing said.

More victims of the battle were discovered as the king and the heavenly guardians surveyed the area. Looking at Ye Jieye and his family were the majority of these men. After all, they were their rescuers. They had seen firsthand how easily these four individuals vanquished those creatures. That is the extent of the Ye familyʼs authority.

That is when those hunters came back, along with the two doctors who had parted ways with them. Having been welcomed into the abandoned homes of their own relatives, it appears that they moved to the most populated neighborhood. After learning about the situation from one of the cityʼs patrolling guards, the two doctors just took everything they needed to recover.

Doctor Guang said, ”Boss! You are really here. I wanted to ask about the situation, but...”

”Do your job first. I will tell you the details afterwards. Hei, support your brother with the palace doctors and healers. Save those who were fatally injured first. As for the situation, just keep them alive. We will be back soon after understanding the situation better,” Mo Xuejing said.

Ye Jieye commanded the hunters who returned with them. ”You guys will be the only ones on guard duty tonight. You observed the dungeon entrance from a distance. Never approach that place without my permission. As for your family, you can ask around. I can assure you that they are definitely safe.

Your next mission will be given in the morning. Understand?”

”Yes, Lord Ye!” They collectively answered.

The six hunters that Lu Shang had trained gave a salute to their commander. Their capabilities and talents had risen significantly after spending most of the month hunting under the surface of the water. Their lives were altered by the encounters they had with gods and demigods.

In the palace, the hall of thrones...

There it was in the entryway, the unexpected round table. Only individuals who are well-known for their standing and strength are permitted to attend the gathering in this room. Unidentified, Wang Xingmo, the present kingʼs weird knight, unlocked the hallʼs door and welcomed his monarch and the occupants.

This shadowy figure, whose face is never seen, does not even bow to his own master; nevertheless, as Ye Jieye went by, he abruptly bowed his head.

Even Wang Xingmo was astounded by this. He has never before seen this arrogant monster of his lower head in front of anyone. He was unaware that Nameless had bowed to Ye Jieye not just here on Earth but also to the one in the Tower of God in addition to Satan. Nameless does not even lower his head to acknowledge Chaos or Mo Xuejing in spite of this.

Although Namelessʼs conduct shocked Wang Xingmo, he refrained from asking him why outright. Ye Jieye, on the other hand, only glanced at Nameless before walking past. Rejecting or not acknowledging his salutation. The door was closed once everyone had gone into the hall, leaving only a few knights standing watch outside.

Mo Xuejing passes food for his husband and children around the table. He pulled his two cubs into the corner to serve them dinner, reasoning that this was not their home and that they needed to have a lengthy talk. Regarding the Heavenly Guardians, Ye Jieye, King Wang Xingmo, and his enigmatic knight stayed seated at the table.

Heavenly Guardian Mu Zang spoke first to his grandson. ”Xiao Ye, did you return because you received the message from that stupid fish?”

”Yes. There are some circumstances that have happened in the ocean, and it took a while for things to calm down. We only left when the one who was supposed to protect the ocean had awakened. There is a new god in the sea,” Ye Jieye said.

When the King and the Heavenly Guardians learned about gods, they were taken aback. Even though this universe is full of celestial beings, the majority of them are only demigods. There are no true gods. There is one, but it is the deity of evil. They knew Cthulhu, the evil god of the ocean.

Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle asked, ”God? A real God. Not just a demigod with divinity, a real one that had ascended?!”

”Yes. He is the one who solved the calamity of water. The evil of God of the Ocean is gone. This new Sea God will rule the waters for a while. He is also the one who told us about the three calamities of this world.” Ye Jieye used Sea God Lanyu as a cover to inform the mortals about the calamities. He had no intention of helping after all.

Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue asked, ”Is this calamity of water involved in the destruction of the entrance of the Anairam Trench, danger zone? If so, the lightning Xiao Fei had reported might have something to do with this.”

”We actually found some finds about the colored lightning in the royal library, but most of those texts are ancient and can barely be read. A short translation was made of the inscriptions hidden in the royal library of the palace. The Royal Familyʼs inscribers translated a passage from the library that involves the said lightning Heavenly Guardia Fei had reported.

This is what they had found out.” King Wang Xingmo passed a paper on the table. Written on it was the short translation made by those old men in the forbidden library.

On the paper, a few written sentences were found. It says,

{When a beingʼs divinity reaches the highest peak of power in this world, the heavens give down a tribulation for him or her to survive. This tribulation is a trial of whether one has the ability and willpower to transcend. During the tribulation, the sky, regardless of where it is, will gather black clouds, followed by the rumbling of the sky and colorful lightning flashing within the dark clouds.

The Heavenʼs Trail. Only those who are fated will survive. Once a divinity survived the tribulation, he would be welcomed by a pillar of light, receiving the blessing of the heavens beyond. Becoming a true God. If he fails, he will be gone forever and will never be able to reincarnate. [He can only return to the nothingness and the void.}

The Heavenly Guardians were scowling as they read the text. They found it hard to accept that anything like this was real. It appeared as though the heavenʼs secret was disclosed. Ye Jieye was the only one who did not panic. Regarding the enigmatic knight known only as Nameless, he behaved as though he were a shy boy, even going so far as to seat across from Ye Jieye at the table.

Ye Jieye asked the current king. ”Are the ones who translated these words still alive?”

”How did you... No, you must have known the reason for their circumstances. There are six old inscribers who translated these paragraphs. Half of them died, the other half is in a coma. Can I ask the reason why they ended up like that?” Wang Xingmo asked. Though he already had an inkling of what might have happened, he still needs to know the truth.

Ye Jieye said, ”Donʼt you know that the heavens of this world are arrogant?” This sentence sounds like a joke or something irrelevant. But for those who understand, Ye Jieyeʼs words at this moment were nothing but truth.

Heavenly Guardian Xian Wu asked, ”What do you mean?”

”If your secrets were dug out and it was did by someone who is completely weaker than yourself, how would you react?” Ye Jieye asked.

Doctor Sen answered, ”Punish them? Oh, I understand now. The heavens had punished them. What they had translated is the secret of the heavens. Something only those with divinity are supposed to know. Thatʼs why those who made this letter ended up like that!”

”The heavens secretly shall not be revealed. This is a truth that most beings follow. Those who break it can only be punished. They should have waited for a while before trying to translate this passage. If they had translated this after the birth of the new sea god, then they wouldnʼt have suffered as such,” Ye Jieye said.

Heavenly Guardian Gu commented, ”What do you mean? It seems to me that you are saying that the heavens had died after the birth of the Sea God.”

When Ye Jieye heard Lao Guʼs words, he just smirked. But everyone felt a shiver down their spine at such an unusual expression of Satan. They appeared to have discovered an unusual thing that could endangered their lives.

Heavenly Guardian Lu Wangle exclaimed, ”Are you for real?” Find adventures at m_v l|e-

”Is this true? Can you tell us what happened during the Calamity of Water? You should have experienced it, right?” Heavenly Guardian Mo Xinyue asked.

”I can tell you what happened, but it will take a long time if you want to know the details,” Ye Jieye said.

Wang Xingmo said, ”That doesnʼt matter; we have some time now, thanks to you and your familyʼs intervention.”

”Well then, this is indeed something you might need to know. Very well, I will tell you everything, including the three calamities this world had to experience.”

Ye Jieye briefed them about the events of the previous month in the water. In addition, he recounted to them Cthulhuʼs past and revealed his true identity as the Ancient God. In addition, there is the animosity between Cthulhu and the Sea God Lanyu toward the skies. He also talked about the three calamities that were hanging over them, particularly the Calamity of the Land.

After all, this is something they should know. All that exists on this star is its creator, and only it can decide the fate of the world. Additionally, he told them about Mo Yuhan, Lu Ming, and Su Jinʼs new identities. Fei, the Heavenly Guardian, decided not to inform them of his circumstances. Before all is in order, no information regarding the next Domain Lord should be withheld.
