I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1399 19.58 Second Red Star - Mo Clanʼs Origins

The sudden changes in the movement of the beast race had reached the people of the Hive Star especially those planets near the Beast Star were greatly affected by the invasion of the Beast people. Those who survived the attacks said that the Beastmen had gone crazy. They werenʼt invading them for the resources of their planet.

Those beasts merely want to fight, want to kill, and start wars for no reason. Some surrendered and pleaded to be spared, but the beast race, as if theyʼve gone insane, went on killing, wanting to exterminate those who were on the planet they invaded.

Because of this event, the visitors of the Hive Star had all gone home to prepare. They spoke to the Zerg King Cid Warlock and signed an alliance with them. So, when the Beast Race came closer to their planets, they would protect each other and fight together. Zerg King Cid Warlock agreed to these terms, as it was already expected that this war against the Beast Race would be his responsibility.

As for the Zerg Emperor and the Zerg Empress, they would only get involved if the Hive Star is truly in danger. The hive already had many king-ranked Zergs and they should be enough against the beast race. With Marquess Silver and Colonel Bailey watching over the young generation, there shouldnʼt be much issue against this war with the Beast Race.

At the Imperial Palace Garden...

The Zerg Emperor, Augustus Kaiser, and his Zerg Empress, Titania Ambrosia, were having lunch with Marquess Silver and Colonel Bailey. The two systems, Zhi Yang and Zhi Yue, were also with them, eating together after serving the food.

Emperor Augustus Kaiser asked, ”The people had gone crazy? What do you mean?”

”According to the reports of our spies, their invasion of the nearby planet was unprepared. But because they caught the races of the other planet off guard, their invasion was successful. They donʼt attack planets for resources and even kill all the warriors of each star. After invading one planet, they would go to the next one,” Marquess Silver said.

Colonel Bailey commented, ”Killing only the warriors? Just what are these beastmen thinking about?”

”I want to see the state of these beastmen. Do you have a recording of them, Chief Warden?” Empress Titania said.

Marquess Silver nods his head and takes out a recording from one of the planets that was invaded by the Beastmen. This video had been shared with everyone in the alliance, and it was provided by the allies of the Hive.

”Itʼs here, Lord Hei. Please take a look,” Marquess Silver said as he passed the video to the Empressʼs terminal.

The Zerg Empress played the video for all of the four of them to see. The scene of the beastmenʼs spaceship forcibly landing on the planet was something no one could stop. Those who live on the planet that was being invaded tried to shoot down the spaceship, but the thick exterior barely made a dent in the spacecraft.

Once it landed on the ground, a fierce-looking Beastmen warrior came out and started killing. The video was under the control of Empress Titania. He suddenly paused the video when one of the beastmen was looking directly at the camera.

Emperor Augustus asked, ”Is there something wrong with this beastman, Baby?”

The Zerg Empress didnʼt answer; instead, they watched him zoom the video closer for them to see the clear face of the beastman. There was only one weird thing about this beastman: his eyes were slightly glowing with grayish shades, but their irises wasnʼt silver in color. Everyone was startled for a moment.

Zhi Yue mumbles, ”This is the shade of Lord Heiʼs eyes when he is angry!”

”Are you sure, Yueʼer?” Zhi Yang asked as their eyes landed on Yue the moment he said those words.

Zhi Yue nodded his head and said, ”Iʼm sure. When Lord Hei is angry, his eyes would glow in this shade; sometimes it would mix with black or crimson.”

”Baby, is this...” Emperor Augustus thought of one thing, but he wasnʼt sure. Like Zhi Yue, he also had seen this kind of eye on his wife, but instead of a murky gray shade like this, it is more like a silvery moonlight hue.

Empress Titania said, ”This is the power of chaos. A quiet, pure one with how light the gray shade is. It seems that I will need to get a personality in the Beast Star. The power of chaos indulges distortion, destruction, and war. Those who were affected by it would get a mindset of creating chaos, endless fighting, and endless thirst for destruction. Itʼs a power no mortal can control.”

”Do you think that its source is found on the beast planet?” Emperor Augustus asked.

Empress Titania nods, ”Maybe, I donʼt know if the Beastmen were the first carriers, but once it spread further, this galaxy. I will need to purge it before itʼs too late. The Power of Chaos must never spread. Not only the upper realm will be affected, everything in existence will.”

”Will it be the same as when the World Eater existed?” Emperor Augustus asked.

Empress Titania said, ”No. Itʼs worse than that. The World Eater is only one being and he is a divine one born with reason and emotions. Thatʼs why at that time the only one affected was the Origin Planet. Because even though he had gone mad, he was still able to hold back until he was killed. Moreover, the power of gluttony is just a kind of Chaosʼs sub-ability.

Chaos is disorder itself. So, most negativity is born from its gluttony. Destruction is another. Thatʼs why I have the ability of destruction as I also have the power of chaos.”

”What would happen to the mortals who had been affected by the power of chaos?” Marquess Silver asked.

Empress Titania said, ”As you can see, never-ending wars, killing, and madness. They wouldnʼt stop until their bodies died. It was still okay if it was a mortal who got the power of chaos; if itʼs a god, he might be reborn as a new world eater.”

Silence descended in the area. A new world eater means that a menace of all realms and all gods would have to fight it again. The last time it was born, the God of Chaos sacrificed itself to kill it. Now that the God of Chaos is gone, only Lord Hei and Lord Ye might be capable of stopping such a distorted being.

Empress Titania stood up, preparing to leave. ”This thing canʼt wait. If I take it away, I can refine that power and make it mine so others wonʼt get affected by it.”

”Would you be okay, Lord Hei? Isnʼt that a power that makes even gods mad?” Zhi Yue asked worriedly.

The God of destruction smiled and patted Zhi Yueʼs head. ”The power of chaos may cause others to go mad, but I am different. The Mo Clan is born from the remnant soul of the Chaos God. Only our race would never get affected by it as we are born from Chaos itself. This is the real origin of the Mo Clan.

We are being born from Chaos itself; thatʼs why we are able to exist in all timelines and gain immortality at birth.”

No one knows the origin of the Mo Clan. They just suddenly appeared in Vearth and mixed with the other gods that came to live in it. If not for sovereign God Shen Siwang noticing the uniqueness of Mo Baojun, no one would notice the Mo Clan and their peculiarities. Only now did they learn that the God of Chaos had not only created the World Eater when he was alive but also the Mo Family.

Colonel Cyril Bailey asked, ”Then Master, you arenʼt... you arenʼt the God of Chaos?”

”I am the God of Winter, Destruction, and Chaos, but I am not Hunluan. He is our origin, and I have a piece of his power, but I can never be him as his soul fragmented into thousands of pieces after his death. Some merged with the galaxies and bore stars. Some merged with stars and gave birth to its creation, and some merged with gods, giving them divinity.

You and the rest that exist in this world also have a wisp of this power. Mortals had it more; this gave them emotions and allowed them to live as they are. This is now what they called life.” The God of Destruction explained.

Everyone finally understood what his words meant. All this time, they had thought that their Lord Hei was the incarnation of the former God of Chaos, Xue Hunluan. But now it seems that it was wrong; he might be his successor, but he is not God Hunluan itself.

The God of Void said, ”Hunluan is gone. But it seems some of his chaotic power remains that can give birth to another world eater, and if that truly happens, a new menace will be born, and we would have to fight against it that time. Baby, are you going to the Beast Planet now? I will go with you.”

”Okay.” The God of Destruction agreed.

The Zerg Emperor looked at their subordinates and said, ”Stay here and prepare for war. Those beasts would definitely not stop unless we took away the force of their power. You two shall handle the rest while we are gone.”

”AʼYang, stay here. We will bring Yueʼer with us. Just in case something happens, contact us through him. Only you two have a direct connection,” the Zerg Empress said.

Zhi Yang said, ”Please take care, Master.”

The Zerg Empress and Zerg Emperor took their leave. They didnʼt choose to use spacecraft, as their newly evolved physical body is much stronger than before. The Zerg race is one of the few races in this universe that can transverse in space with their original body.

The departure of the emperor and empress of the Insect race had caused so much confusion that Cid Warlock immediately looked for Marquess Silver and Colonel Bailey to learn the reason for their departure.

In the Imperial Garden, Cid Warlock who ran out of the throne hall, appeared before Marquess Silver and Colonel Bailey. Following behind him are some officials and nobles who were helping him plan the war preparations.

Zerg King Warlock asked, ”Teachers, what happened? Why did Masters leave the hive?”

”The Empress was bored and wanted to fly outside for a while. The Emperor left to accompany him. Donʼt worry, they should be back soon with souvenirs,” said Marquess Silver.

The Zergs in front of them smiled with helplessness ever since the evolution of the Zerg Empress, who had become completely playful and hated boredom the most. He would sometimes beat soldiers while sparring to pass time.

Now that there is a way looming over the hive, the empress couldnʼt just beat the soldiers for fun. Itʼs no wonder he was so bored that he left the hive for a bit. No one questioned more about the situation and these bugs collectively believe the words of the Marquess. Find your next read at empire

Moreover, itʼs not like they could complain. The Zerg Empress is the strongest female Zerg in the hive and the only one who can stop him is the Zerg Emperor. But their emperor is a loving husband and would always spoil his empress to the heavens and they got no words to complain about. After all, as long they have them, the Hive is undefeatable.

Cid Warlock said, ”This is better. After all, if Master Titania is bored, Iʼm the one who gets beaten up. Hahaha~”

Upon hearing these words, the other bug felt sympathy towards their Zerg King Warlock, but one spoke to save him. As those beating are training for him to increase his combat strength, it was for his own good. It was said that those who had undergone beatings under the Zerg Empress had become warriors who are now famous for their close combat techniques and a lot of Zergs admire them for it.
