I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1290: 18.128 First Grey Star - Mo Xuejingʼs open dislike for the stupid fish.

Lu Shang, Leica, and Ji Yoonjun gazed at the newborn God with mild amazement as the Sea God observed the state of this earth. They had no idea that he would still be interested in this world, which had only brought him sorrow.

A bit curious, Leica asked, ”Do you still care about this world?”

”No. My attachment to this world is only with the ocean. The place where I was saved and born is also the only place where my lord died to protect it. I hate this world, but I hate the heavens of this star the most. Unfortunately, in the waters, my servants are still alive. I had already watched them die once.

If this world is gone, would they have to die again?” Sea God Lanyu explained.

Leica asked, ”Are you asking for a way to protect the sea when youʼre gone?”

”Is there something I can do about it?” Sea God Lanyu asked.

Leica said, ”There is a way. But this involves someone with enough potential to become a low-tier god and protect the ocean in your place instead. For your information, none of your apostles had the potential to become a demigod.”

”I need someone that can become a demigod. How about that one?” Sea God Lanyu pointed at Su Jin inside the Ocean Pearl.

Everyone knew that the Sea God wanted Su Jin, the good-hearted man, to guard the ocean for him, but would Su Jin be content to spend the rest of his life beneath the water, given that he is a human?

Lu Shang said, ”Humans arenʼt comfortable with living underwater. If you want someone useful, the stupid fish that protects this danger zone is a good choice. That thing is an introvert and a shut-in; unless the ocean dries up, he will continue to live in the ocean.”

Heavenly Guardian Fei, the fish the chief warden is referring to, is the foolish fish. Despite their strength, Heavenly Guardians are still human. In addition, this guardian resides in the ocean and is a mermaid rather than a person.

Sea God Lanyu thought back to the stupid half-fish that Cthulhu had permitted to survive. His master does not appear to despise one who possesses a human upper body. It is merely that the mermaid has a haughty disposition. It makes one want to give someone a slap whenever he speaks.

However, as Lu Shang had previously stated, choosing an aquatic person to guard the ocean is preferable to selecting a land-born person.

”Oh, not a bad choice. If it were Heavenly Guardian Fei, he would have all the time to protect the ocean. You just need to give him some rewards he would love to have.”

Leica believed his sweetheartʼs proposals were sound. Heavenly Guardian Fei is notorious for his sand sculpture personality in addition to his poisonous tongue. He is occasionally scared to pursue death and will rely on anyone who can be helpful to him. However, it appears that this foolish death-seeking fish mentality has significantly decreased as a result of Lord Moʼs pounding.

Ji Yoonjun, who heard about the allegations but did not meet the foolish mermaid, agrees that this man is a wise pick. Even if he ascended, he would not leave this world because he did not have any major life desires or objectives. It is actually preferable for Heavenly Guardian Fei to take on the role of Heavenly Law in this realm.

Despite his apparent mental health issues, he is the kind of person who stays still until someone pushes him.

Speaking about the devil, this morning the one being discussed abruptly showed up. Heavenly Guardian Fei took a glance around the recently altered core region because this place was entirely different from what he remembered.

Heavenly Guardian Feiʼs mind is in chaos. ʼEh? Isnʼt there only a coral dome in here? What is this? A castle! How come it is more luxurious than mine!?

Itʼs even glowing. What the hell!?ʼ

He swiveled his head, trying to find the Ye family, or more accurately, where his scales were. He gave those two human cubs his scales so he could use them to help find them if they got lost. He gave plenty too for a large gathering. About that big, luxurious castle, it was built in a single night by the apostles of Lanyu, the recently born sea god.

All of these sea kings have a large number of servants, who reside on the edges of the areas that make up the mid and core-regions but do not reside in the core region itself, so this kind of work can be done.

Overnight, many of them collaborated to build an enormous underwater castle. There is also a backyard full of young jellyfish and edible sea anemones. In the meantime, the adults were getting ready to make some seafood BBQ for lunch today, and the two cubs took pleasure in playing outside.

Heavenly Guardian Fei mumbles, ”How weird. I canʼt feel my scales inside this castle, but itʼs within this vicinity. Hm?”

He scans his surroundings, feels around for his scales, and at last notices a group of people in the back of such an opulent castle. There were several scenes taking place at the same time as Heavenly Guardian Fei was greeted. There was a large bubble in the garden that prevented water from getting into this particular spot.

In the backyard corner, a few human hunters and children are engaged in some physical training and sparring. The men named Lu Shang and Leica were the ones issuing the harsh directives.

Mo Xuejing assigned the two doctors and Ji Yoonjun to assist with the culinary prep. They had to assist with cleaning and chopping the ingredients since they wanted to enjoy his husbandʼs food. The three of them were now at the bubbleʼs edges, cleaning and washing some fish outside the bubble that contained them. Cleaning the crabs, clam shells, etc.

The two cubs in the group, on the other hand, had long since taken to using a tiny net in their hands to play with the baby jellyfish that were around them. These young jellyfish were constructed of sugar and resembled the candies that the brats had previously consumed. Since Daddy Mo Xuejing only handed them a little net, their chances of catching many jellyfish are slim.

Additionally, they received stern warnings not to overindulge in sea anemones (cotton candy) prior to meals.

While the couple was engaged in the cooking, the newborn deity was taking care of the cubs. The strong couple will not care too much as long as he prevents Ye Jingxia and Ye Anxia from leaving the bubble without authorization. In addition, Sea God Lanyu was acquainted with the types of identities that this pair held. Enormous deities manifested in physical form.

He knew he would not be here for very long, of course.

Sea God Lanyu said, ”He is here.”

”Took him long enough. Let him in,” Ye Jieye said, knowing that he was talking about that stupid fish.

The moment he saw Heavenly Guardian Fei, Mo Xuejing, the overly protective daddy, instantly hid his cubs behind him. There is something deeply unpleasant about the way he looks at the mermaid.

”Why the hell are you here?” Mo Xuejing asked. His dislike for this stupid fish is clear.

Heavenly Guardian Fei felt helpless and said, ”I wonʼt harm them. Before... um, itʼs just a joke. Moreover, they are obviously more powerful than I am. L-Lord Mo, have some mercy on this weak fish.”

Hmp!

(TT v TT)

Mo Xuejing ignored the mermaid and crouched in front of his cubs. He started giving them strict instructions.

”Babies, you see that stupid fish. If he dares to come over to you two, you can throw your most powerful attack. Turn him into an ice cube or burn him to crisps. Do you understand?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Indeed, Ye Jingxia and Ye Anxia were aware of the Uncle Mermaid, but just like their father, they were afraid to disagree with him. All they can do is look pitifully at their Uncle Mermaid and nod their adorable little heads. As Heavenly Guardian Fei met the two human cubsʼ sorrowful stares, he could not help but desire to smash his past self.

He would not have to be viewed as a threat by this family if he had not drawn the wrath of Mo Xuejing before.

Ye Jieye, meantime, was too busy cooking to look twice at that silly fish. Ever since they arrived, this mermaid has been scuttling away from them, seemingly terrified that he might descale them. He understood that whatever news he brought might not be good now that he had shown there acting as though something serious had happened. Regardless, he does not give a damn.

The God of Void said to Heavenly Guardian Fei, ”Wait after the meal to talk.”

”Yes.” Heavenly Guardian Fei didnʼt dare to decline, as he knew that the one with real power in this group is this cook who can make heavenly meals. He can only sit in the corner, watching the scenes unfold before him.

Ignoring the guest, the others carry on with their own activities. It was only Heavenly Guardian Fei who remembered that this guest was the most suitable candidate to become the new Heavenly Laws of this world when she heard the two young men, Mo Yuhan and Lu Ming, conversing last night.

---

Last night, before everyone went to bed,.

Sea God Lanyu, Ji Yoonjun, Leica, and Lu Shang had a lengthy discussion. When it was over, they parted ways to head back to their designated sleeping areas. After completing his rebirth, Sea God Lanyu had a full schedule for the evening. He went by Mo Yuhan and Lu Mingʼs tent, where they were surreptitiously listening to their talk.

Mo Yuhan said, ”Bro, it seems that you are chosen again. Though I donʼt know exactly what a Heavenly Law is, at the least it seems to be something connected to this world.”

”I know about it. The Heavenly Laws are like the lord of a world. This world has one. I suddenly awakened the third element of light because of its blessings. But now I have a feeling it is gone. But it seems that a new god was born in our world.”

Lu Ming was aware of the truth about the world, gods, Heavenly Laws, and more because he had lived a previous life. However, in contrast to the original Ji Yoonjun, he did not decide to fully reject this worldʼs authority. Since he was aware that Su Jin would return to this world and take Ji Yoonjunʼs place as the new protagonist shou. He decided to remain with him here.

Lu Ming said, ”I know a lot about this world since you gain a power that isnʼt restricted by this world. I can tell you what I know. But Iʼm sorry to disappoint you. I had no intention of once again tying myself to this world, and neither Xiao Jin nor I will choose to stay. He will most likely want to find his brother in the end. I have to accompany him.”

”Though I donʼt understand much of what you mean, if you are going to leave, you better bring me with you. Iʼm your brother after all,” Mo Yuhan said.

Lu Ming chuckled and bumped fists with his sworn brother. ”Of course. We can bring you with us after this world has stabilized.”

Outside the tent, Sea God Lanyu was stunned and speechless. He had planned to speak with Lu Ming about staying in this realm as a protector. He was so invisible to the two mortals that they carried on conversing outside their tent.

The Sea God initially believed he could persuade Lu Ming to continue serving as this worldʼs Domain Lord (Heavenly Laws), but after learning of their objectives, he decided to disregard them.

A free spirit with aspirations beyond this life cannot be contained. He was aware of this since he himself is one, and he had no desire to prevent these kids from achieving their objectives.

Sea God Lanyu mumbled as he recalled what Lu Shang had suggested just now. ”Maybe that mermaid is indeed a better choice than these kids.” He disappeared in thin air and melted with the ocean. His whole presence had temporarily merged with the ocean and informed the whole world about his birth.

That night, the news about the newly born sea god was known to everyone in the sea, and those on land were also informed about it.
