I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1277: 18.115 First Grey Star - Mo Xuejing and Hei Anjing

Ye Jingxia and Ye Anxia have just finished playing with the whales while the water is in disarray. They were taken to a location where a large number of sea anemones were discovered. The whales are unable to halt their migration since they are so far along in it. They have a keener sense of danger than other species because they are among the sentient creatures that inhabit the sea.

They left the core region as if they anticipated that the two overlords would be at war. One could argue that Ye Jingxia and Ye Anxia were saved from harmʼs way as a result of this. The whales abandoned them at the sole entry and exit points into the main zone. They are currently within the anemoneʼs nest. surrounded by vibrant anemones that draw the two younglings in with their pleasant scent.

Ye Anxia drools at the sight of the vibrantly colored anemones. She gets the impression that she is looking at a sea of vibrant, flavor-filled cakes because of the delicious scent.

”Gege, are these things edible?” Ye Anxia asked.

Ye Jingxia and his younger sister were not all that dissimilar. The aroma of honey, chocolate, sugar, or any other sweet taste drives him crazy since he has a sweet tooth.

”I donʼt know, but we can check. Letʼs use the terminal to know what kind of ingredients these are. Xiaxia, you try it with your terminal,” Ye Jingxia said, like an elder brother giving a small and simple task to his lovely younger sister.

Ye Anxia examined the little watch that was on her wrist. She strolled in the direction of the red hue since, in her opinion, it was the most attractive. The selected sea anemone had been softly touched by the terminal on her wrist.

[Ding! 3rd class, legendary-grade Strawberry Cotton Candy Anemone. It possessed a fire attribute and slightly increased the fire elemental power of those who ate it. Effects can stack, and they last only for a day. It greatly helps in increasing fire Attribute compatibility.]

Ye Anxia only saw what she wanted when she read the description, so she quickly grabbed the red anemone and devoured it right away. The second he bit into the anemone, it dissolved instantly. It has the light texture of cotton candy.

”Gege, eat. Itʼs fluffy.”

Ye Anxia shoved additional anemones into her brotherʼs mouth after picking them up. Ye Jingxia was forced to chew on the red anemone, and as he did, a potent strawberry flavor filled his tongue, giving him the impression that he was eating light, fluffy clouds.

Ye Jingxia said, ”These are all cotton candies!” as he attempted to bite into a violet-colored anemone. His tongue naturally began to taste like grapes, with a trace of sugar sweetness.

Munch!

”Xiaxia, eat a lot. We will pick more before going to find Daddy and Papa!” Ye Jingxia said with his mouth full of candies.

Likewise, the little princess is in the same state and even sits on the ground to eat like a bear enjoying his honey.

Ye Anxia rolled her eyes when she heard her brotherʼs words. ”Gege, you said that multiple times, but we always get lost and you continue to play. Even Brother Whale got tired of playing, but Gege still wanted to backflip underwater. Xiaxia felt dizzy before!”

Feeling guilty, Ye Jingxia, who forgets everything while playing, said, ”This time we wonʼt backflip in the water anymore. Letʼs go find Papa and Daddy.”

Unaware of the danger in the central area, the two brats perched in the center of the anemone nest and feasted like bees. They sample every hue, one after the other. The two cribs enjoyed themselves as they ate since the anemones in the nest were different colors and had distinct flavors.

---

The two cubs are taking in their own world while they wait. After Hei Anjing assumed power, Mo Xuejing had lain in slumber, and at last awoke. The act of assuming control of the body without the ownerʼs consent caused Hei Anjingʼs soul to feel incomplete. They crossed paths in their soul realm. The ice floor was riddled with holes and cracks, unlike previously.

The tall white tree in the middle was sliced in half and was just hanging on. The entire region is covered in a white mist that gradually seals the fissures.

When Mo Xuejing opened his eyes, he found himself in this sight. A strange universe beyond his previous experiences. For some reason, he knew those men with matching silver eyes were him, even if the broken chunks of ice held memories he had never seen before.

Mo Xuejing mumbles as he looks around, ”Where is this place?”

He kept moving on and, at last, noticed a white-leafed, presumably dead tree in front of him. Despite having been sliced in half, the tree is still alive. There was a table and seats not far from the tree. A man with long, silvery hair and pure white robes is sitting down to serve tea. Mo Xuejing recognized the man right away when he saw his perfect, lovely face.

He has seen this manʼs visage many times in the small world he and Ye Jieye share. The man in the picture had silver eyes and light brown hair instead of silver. One eye is completely black, the other is pure silver, yet this personʼs eyes are different. Hei Anjing is this man, for sure.

Hei Anjing spoke even without looking at him, ”You are finally here. Iʼve been waiting for you. Join me for tea.”

Mo Xuejing was silent but still joined Hei Anjing at the table, quietly looking at him. Hei Anjingʼs lips turned into a playful smile as he slowly sipped on his tea.

”Have you been waiting for me here?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Hei Anjing answered, ”Yes. Your feelings for him had reached the threshold, and because of it, your possessiveness made you want more of him. Deep inside, you know that you two will never be equal because his existence for you is like your savior and the only person your heart has beat for.”

”If I become you, can I stand beside him without feeling this way?” Mo Xuejing asked.

Hei Anjing replied, ”The answer is no. My feelings for him are stronger than what you have now. A possessiveness that doesnʼt allow even a single bug to approach him. Even his subordinates will be at armʼs length. Killing anything that dares to take him away. You will even be jealous of your children and his brother.

My feelings are murkier than yours. Moreover, your negative feelings will be as strong as your love for him. But becoming me meant youʼll have everything of his and youʼll have power that can contend with his. You will be his equal. You will have the power to protect him.”

”Protect him. We will become equal. I no longer need to stand behind him and fight together instead,” Mo Xuejing mumbles. He suddenly looks at Hei Anjing. ”If I agree, will I still be me?”

”No. You shall become me. You are still you, but at the same time, you and I will be one,” Hei Anjing said, finally looking at his soul fragment in front of him. ”Iʼm a bit tired. I took over your body because he is in danger. I hope you donʼt mind.

You can take your time to think. Iʼm sleepy but still feel worried about things. Once I fell into a slumber, only you can protect him. I will lend you my powers while I rest, as whether you can control it depends solely on you.”

Hei Anjing approached Mo Xuejing and gave them a kind nudge on the forehead. Two pairs of phoenix-shaped eyes gazed back at one another. On Mo Xuejingʼs forehead, a blanket shaped like snowflakes appeared. Hei Anjing gives Mo Xuejing his soul relic as his spirit slowly fades in front of him.

”You are me and I am you, but never forget you are still you. Protect him for me. No, protect him with all we have. Mo Xuejing, if the time you canʼt save him arrives, I shall wake up again. By that time, you can only merge with me.” Hei Anjing disappeared completely after saying these words.

Mo Xuejing came to terms with reality during this meeting with Hei Anjing. He realized he was in a warm hug that offered him the safety and affection he most desperately needed. He glanced up at the attractive face, which had rather sharp features and a severe demeanor. Nevertheless, he has such a commanding presence and is so majestic that he could pass for an evil god.

He is the seducer of all, but he doesnʼt love anyone. The one everyone can hope for but can never fully have. This is the kind of man he has, which gave Mo Xuejing great joy.

Without Mo Xuejing noticing, a strong feeling of possessiveness glints within his argent eyes as he mumbles, ”He is right. No one is allowed to take his man away.”

”Hm~ baby, are you awake? Are you hurting somewhere?” Ye Jieye asked. He looked like he just woke up.

Unaware that this smile was identical to the sincere smile Hei Anjing reserved for his sweetheart, Mo Xuejing grinned. His silver eyes glistened with love, as though the man before him was the only person in the world, and delight flowed straight from his soul.

”Iʼm okay now. AʼYe,” Mo Xuejing said.

Ye Jieye was taken aback to see a smile so familiar, but he soon recognized that this person was Mo Xuejing and not his Jingʼer when he heard them refer to him as ”AʼYe.” After a brief moment of shock, he embraced Mo Xuejing.

”Thatʼs good. Our cubs havenʼt been found yet. We should go looking for them, or they wonʼt eat a proper meal, which separates us,” Ye Jieye said as he gave Mo Xuejingʼs forehead a kiss.

The pair decided to get up. Ye Jieye got up and moved the bed aside, but not before noticing that the surroundings were not what he recalled, but that Hei Anjingʼs memories from when he took over his body remained, so Mo Xuejing knew what had transpired while he was sleeping.

Mo Xuejing scowled as he noticed the water surrounding them retracting and a massive octopus that appeared to be a twisted monster.

He mumbles, ”How could he look that ugly?”

Although Mo Xuejingʼs candid remark seems so inappropriate in this context, it is impossible to overlook the disgust and grimace on his face. Even Ye Jieye could not help but giggle at how careless he was in this dangerous circumstance.

Pfft! Hahahahaha

Ye Jieye said, ”Baby, thatʼs not a monster but Cthulhu. The God of Madness and Sea, Cthulhu.”

”Thatʼs a god. He looks so... ugly beyond words,” Mo Xuejing declared with a serious tone, making others hardly hold back their laughter.

Cthulhu, the Evil Octopus God, was not amused by this joyous mood. After becoming an evil deity, he had never experienced treatment such as this. He was accustomed to being in charge, and he had complete control over everything. His aura has the power to transform a person into a monster that is simultaneously insane and capable of only killing.

{Stupid Humans! Bow down before this deity! If not, there is only death coming for you!}

Ye Jieye and Mo Xuejing gave him a disinterested look as if they were staring at a fool. Ignoring him, Li Shang and Leica waited obediently for their lordsʼ orders. Ji Yoonjun, for his part, shot a scornful glance at the evil god. This malevolent octopus deity can only be viewed as a lesser god in comparison to him. He could not even stay in Vearth for a week.

Now that they were witnessing heirs awake, the other human hunters were, for whatever reason, immune to fear. Not even they could figure out why.

Su Jin, on the other hand, is overly preoccupied with his unopened eyes, his lover. Upon spotting him, Mo Xuejing turned to face the enormous pearl that loomed above them. He went up to the young man after having an idea.

Mo Xuejing said, ”Su Jin, right? I feel that this pearl is trying to call for you. Why donʼt you try touching it?”

There is a sly humor lurking deep in his silver eyes that is difficult to miss. However, the way he speaks and certain of his facial expressions are so close to those of someone else that it makes people who are familiar with him stare at Mo Xuejing for a little while longer. Leica notices the Lord God nearby and senses it more strongly than the others.

Leica whispered, ”Lord God, sire, did Lord Mo merge with my master?”

Ye Jieye stared at Mo Xuejing and saw no indication that a soul merge had happened. He answered Leicaʼs question. ”No, they havenʼt merged yet. There is only AʼMoʼs soul in that body.”
