I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1275: 18.113 First Grey Star - Lu Ming vs Evil Octopus God

At the ocean floor...

The people that emerge with their own mission eventually sense the tremors brought on by the Evil Octopus Godʼs aura spreading over the ocean, while Lu Ming is preoccupied with what to do with the enormous octopus outside the barrier. The person who felt it the most, Moray Eel God, became alarmed.

{Impossible! How can that damn octopus know where the pearl is!? This canʼt be allowed. I hope the Venerable One was kind enough to protect the Ocean Pearl until I came back.} Moray Eel God said.

Su Jin overheard his grumble and knew what he was talking about. Itʼs about that huge pearl in his house.

”Is that the Ocean Pearl that is said to be able to control the whole waters in this world?” He mumbled as he watched him leave, but suddenly he recalled that his lover Lu Ming was left behind in that place. ”Oh no. AʼMing!!”

Su Jin set out right away to find his beloved by pursuing the Moray Eel God. The offspring of the two Venerable Lords were consequently forgotten once more.

By the time Su Jin and the Moray Eel God made their way back to the oceanʼs center, Lu Ming had already begun tossing darts from behind the barrier, his aim being the enormous octopus. His daggers were regular knives, but now that he has regained his strength, he may use light elements, which are the elements that are most similar to the laws of heaven.

It was very helpful against a malevolent entity such as the Octopus God. However, a mortal and a god are not the same thing; the Evil Octopus God can only be scratched by his weapon.

Lu Ming said, ”Damn it! How tough is the skin of this octopus!?”

”Calm down. Continue to circulate your elemental qi in your body. Not just the light; use all elements in your control. Donʼt be afraid of your power,” Leica said.

Lu Ming realized right away that the source of this instruction might not have been the Brother Leica he is familiar with, but rather the God embodied in his body. Such serenity and lack of interest in life. The majority of gods had no concern for those who were inferior to them. He took his advice and managed every qi that was elemental in his body.

Three components at once were difficult to control, and too much for his unconditioned physique to handle. Blood constantly swirls around his nose, drawn to his oppressive aura.

”Shit! This is too painful yet feels so refreshing!” Lu Ming said.

His aura continued to circulate until all three elements had united within his body. The three-colored aura on his body was replaced with a somewhat golden glow, and his strength tripled. He was not prepared for this outcome.

Lu Ming was stunned. ”Huh? What is this feeling?” He moved the dagger in his hand and made a slashing move. His slightly golden aura covered his weapon, and he flew towards the octopus in the shape of a blade.

The Evil Octopus God yelled in agony as this slash caused a larger wound on him. His strikes appear to have become more potent when his aura changed, and he can now use his aura to launch assaults from long range.

SHRIEKS!!!

The Evil Octopus God glared at Lu Ming and said, {Damn human! How can you use the Holy Power? Thatʼs the power of divinity. Agh! It hurts. It hurts!!

I will kill you!!!}

This time, the Evil God was furious and covered its entire body with a dark aura that had a corrosive effect. It keeps hitting the barrier, but sadly, it still serves no purpose. Lesser gods can scarcely break down a barrier erected by a sovereign god. Perhaps only another all-powerful God could break it.

{This fucking barrier! How can it block my aura!? Dammit! Iʼm going to destroy it, no matter what!?}

At the height of his rage, the Evil Octopus God collected all the darkness from the ocean below, leaving nothing but light there and him as the only source of darkness. The corrosion around him becomes more effective the more auricles he acquires. The earth itself, the stones, the water, and the corals all melted around him. It begins to dissipate quite quickly.

If this keeps up, his caustic aura will melt the entire ocean, especially the Anairam Trench.

”What the hell is it doing? Even the water is drying up!”

The sight of people melting all around Lu Ming startled him. He would have most certainly dissolved like the ocean floor beneath the Evil Octopus God if not for the boundaries surrounding them. Even though things appear bad, the two who are sleeping do not seem to care and keep sleeping.

Leica commented, ”If he doesnʼt stop, the whole ocean will be gone because of his aura. Try to stop him, AʼMing.”

Lu Ming also started to gather aura right away. He saw that his strike was effective and that, in contrast to his previous attacks, the Octopus could not heal it right away, so he decided to make a bigger cut than previously. This time, he slashed at the attacker with two daggers in a crisscross shape.

However, the adversary is more alert this time and has a thicker black aura covering its tentacles, negating his attack. The light gold and black auras collide with a sizzling sound.

”Huh? It didnʼt hurt it! No, maybe because the aura Iʼve gathered isnʼt enough. I need to gather more to make a stronger slash.” Lu Ming crossed his legs on the spot and gathered as much aura as he could from the world.

As might be expected from the adored son of the heavens, he was immediately surrounded by and had total authority over the Qi world. His aura begins to take on a more distinct aureate hue, but still faintly golden.

Leica mumbles, ”With the heavens as his backing, they are truly a cheat. These are so-called protagonists.”

God grows enraged and wants to murder this helpless human as if sensing danger from Lu Ming, the Evil Octopus, but despite his best efforts, the barrier in front of him remains intact.

{Dammit! This stupid barrier is unbelievable. This canʼt be. I canʼt wait for him to gather enough holy elements. That can kill even this emperor. I should retreat for now.}

The Evil Octopus God desired to flee after realizing that the barrier would collapse. He senses the dreadful, obnoxious holy aura building up inside Lu Mingʼs human body. If the barrier is absent, he can certainly kill the boy and take the Ocean Pearl. He has no choice but to flee because the barrier does not shatter.

Crackles

Subsequently, a few fissures emerged on the shield enclosing Lu Ming and Leica. This offered the bad god escaping the option to stay. The barrier was ready to be dismantled since there was a break in it. There is a dark chuckle that fills the entire ocean.

Leica looked at the crack in the barrier in disbelief. ”Impossible!”

He shifted his attention to the couple on the bed and noticed Ye Jieye was awake, his face full of amusement as he took in the scene. In addition, he did this in hopes that Octopus would decide to stay. It put Lu Ming in jeopardy.

{Hahaha~ unexpectedly fate is still on my side.} The Evil Octopus God restarted his attack on the barrier with his dark aura.

BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG!

The barrierʼs fissures get wider upon repeated impact. The bad deity becomes more and more enthused as the fracture barrier widens; it is unaware that this was all a trap set by a more evil god who is seeing the display.

CRACKS! BANG!!!

The Evil Octopus God is ecstatic when the barrier eventually breaks down. With a single movement, it is poised to eliminate the modern-day human hero as it wags its tentacles. But this time, Leica took action and added another layer of defense to the protagonist gong by using the crimson strings.

{What a useless attempt to survive! Such thin threads would never be able to block my corrosive aura!} The evil god stated.

”Is that so?” he asked.

Leica was taken over by Warden Yun Ming, who gave it a much purer red light with gold undertones than Lu Ming had previously used. The Evil Octopus God was shocked by this.

{Pure aura of divinity! You are... A high god!? Fuck!}

Leica said, ”Donʼt compare me to those lower-tier ones. This deity is a celestial god. Yizhi, capture him!”

{N-No. No! You beings from outside arenʼt allowed to interfere in our world. The laws of the heavens will forbid you!}

Yizhi seized all eight of the Evil Octopus Godʼs tentacles and stopped them from escaping, as if the red strings had come back to life. But as was to be expected, the tribulation thunder had arrived to exact revenge on Yun Ming for his use of his divinity to meddle in the earth.

Rumbles. Rumbles.

Leica became serious as he noticed the gloomy clouds above him beginning to gather. It appears that by rescuing Gong, the main character, he went too far and was penalized.

Leica mumbles, ”The Heavenly Laws are only as partial to the protagonists as expected. This will definitely hurt a lot.”

The tribulation clouds were going to be destroyed to nothing by a golden spear thrown by someone right before Leica was to receive the celestial wrath. After swirling through space, this golden spear will find its owner again. Leica appeared particularly pleased to see a spear that looked so familiar.

”AʼLou!” Leica called as Lu Shang appeared beside him and stood before him while observing the remnants of tribulation clouds and the Evil Octopus God.

The other hunters who accompanied them soon afterward appeared, led by Lu Shang. The Evil Octopus God was pinned to the ground by a hail of arrows, stopping it from moving.

SHRIEKS!

Doctor Guangʼs voice echoes throughout the whole place. ”What a Humongous and Ugly Octopus!?”

{Damn Mortals! You are the only ugly, and all of you are fucking ugly!! You guys multiply so fast that itʼs annoying! Whatever it is, you all shall die!!}

”What the hell!? The octopus can talk! Is it a god!?” Doctor Hei asked Ji Yoonjun, who wasnʼt holding back as he used his bows.

Ji Yoonjun said, ”Donʼt letʼs put your guard down! Thatʼs an evil god!”

”Evil God! Fuck, you mean the type that exists to kill all beings in the world!?”

”Shit! Its tentacles had corrosive effects. Donʼt let it touch you! Cover your whole body with aura,” Mo Yuhan said. He tried to freeze the melting ground, but his ice melted faster, turning immediately into water.

Lu Shang gave a salute after noticing his lord nearby. Ye Jieye did not go back to hugging his wife until he gave her a small nod of his head. He merely provides a little assistance to hold the octopus in place. It is best to focus all of his attention on his wife now that it is over.

Leica said, ”AʼShang, buy some time for AʼMing to gather enough holy power.”

Lu Shang recognized his younger brotherʼs enlightened state and knew instantly what he had to do. And the clouds of tribulation were all gone, so he did not have to worry about his sweetheart anymore.

Lu Shang said, ”Protect him. Leave that octopus to us.”

”Okay. Be careful,” Leica said

Lu Shang returned to the group and assumed the lead, giving the command to move in formation in order to maintain their target in this region. As they disperse in pairs, Doctor Guang—who is helpless to resist—is hurled to Leicaʼs location.

Doctor Guang complained after being thrown out of the battle area. ”Ouch! Donʼt you have compassion for doctors!? Who will heal you if Iʼm dead?”

Because mortals encircled it, the Evil Octopus God became enraged. His aura became even more hostile, hurting a few mortal hunters in the process. They survived the war thanks to the presence of a light healer and physician like Doctor Guang. Yet the Octopus God of Evil is too powerful. Ji Yoonjun and Lu Shang can hardly hold this enormous bad creature in place since they are not using their divinity.

especially after it made several attempts to flee from here.

{Argh! Annoying ants! I will smash you to death! Not only did you eat my kin, you even want to kill this Emperor!? You are seeking death!!!}

Many hunters were shoved and flung away from him by the tentacles. He is ready to strike the ultimate blow when a second enormous creature materializes and slams right into it. The Moray Eel God was furious to see his home destroyed.

{Octopus Emperor, your greed had no bounds. The Ocean Pearl is not for you to covet!!!}
