His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2150: Chapter 622: Grandpa and Grandson Team Up to Set Traps (Part 2)

After a while, Feng Fanghua asked her again, ”I heard that Yang Qin is leaving this afternoon. Why haven’t the two of you reconciled?”

”Her leaving won’t magically fix things between us. Mom! Do you also believe that I’m just being unreasonable? That I can’t tolerate Yang Qin as a secretary?”

Qin Mu’s voice wasn’t loud; it was just an expression of her confusion.

Feng Fanghua listened to her, lowered her eyes, and sighed, ”It’s understandable for you to be angry; no one can blame you. If it were me, I’d be even angrier.”

”But I’m only angry with Mu Yichen. As for Yang Qin, it’s not worth my anger.”

Qin Mu was a bit stubborn, her voice not loud but firmly expressing her thoughts.

”But isn’t it because of Yang Qin? If not for her, why would you be angry with Yichen?”

Feng Fanghua’s eyes were quite perceptive, immediately catching Qin Mu’s small temperament.

Qin Mu, feeling indignant, lowered her eyes and said nothing to her, just feeling a bit wronged.

It seemed like no one in the family truly understood her.

”You know, you’re too fixated, troubling yourself and your husband over another woman. What’s the point? Haven’t you always told me that the more others can’t stand to see you happy, the better you must live?”

Feng Fanghua patiently reminded her.

Qin Mu simply smiled helplessly, thinking how these two things could be mixed together.

”Since Yang Qin is leaving, you as a couple shouldn’t quarrel anymore, okay?”

Feng Fanghua recalled persuading her to reconcile with Mu Yichen last time, which she didn’t heed. Although she spoke gently, her mind thought, if you ignore it again this time, I’m really going to be angry.

”Okay!”

Qin Mu habitually replied in a muffled voice.

Feng Fanghua sighed again and then glanced at Xiaonao: ”Tonight, your father and I will take care of Xiaonao for you. You both need to have a good talk. As they say, couples may argue at the head of the bed and make up at the end. It’s been a week now, time to let it go.”

”Xiaonao gets uncomfortable at night. I’d better do it. I’ll handle my issues with Yichen well.”

Qin Mu, somewhat reluctant to hand Xiaonao over to Feng Fanghua, only because the child is more attached to her.

”I’ve taken care of several children before; how could I not handle this one? If you don’t give me grandchildren, I can at least play with someone else’s, right?”

Feng Fanghua seemed to disagree, wanting to hug the child for a night. Qin Mu...

After dinner, Huanhuan quickly finished her homework, checked it herself, and handed it to Qin Mu. Then she went to accompany Grandma to take care of the child, while Chengcheng was inside, playing with Xiaonao’s toys. After a while, feeling bored, Chengcheng went back to her own room.

Qin Mu was unwilling to go upstairs, and Mu Yichen remained seated on the sofa. The old master watched the couple for a long time, seeing them both gazing absent-mindedly at the TV, he sighed, then called out, ”Xiaomu!”

”Hmm?”

Qin Mu snapped back to reality, turning to look at the old master.

”This afternoon, Yichen and I made a bet while playing chess. If he loses, he’ll take me to Jixiang Restaurant to listen to opera for a month. If I lose, you’ll fulfill three of his wishes for me!”

As the old master spoke, he began to rub the back of his head, realizing he wasn’t being fair, and awkwardly smiled at Qin Mu after he finished.

Qin Mu...

Mu Yichen’s eyes didn’t move, continuing to watch the show from his seat.

Qin Mu thought, how could you lose and make me fulfill his three wishes instead?

And why three wishes? Even one would have been negotiable. Agreeing to so many, aren’t you afraid I can’t handle it?

Feeling wronged, Qin Mu couldn’t help but mutter, ”Grandpa, are you going to get me into trouble?”

”Hey! That’s not right. You two are a couple, and he cares about you, so how could he get you into trouble? Anyway—”

The old master thought for a moment and continued, ”I’m the one who lost and agreed to his terms. If you disagree, doesn’t that mean I hold no weight in your heart?”

His eyes turned pitiful, showing a lonely, elderly demeanor.

Qin Mu felt helpless, turning to face Mu Yichen, thinking, let’s see what kind of antics you will come up with.

”Alright! So what kind of requests does Mr. Mu have for me to fulfill? Three wishes, huh? You’d better say them all at once in front of Grandpa!”

Mu Yichen shifted slightly but didn’t respond to her. After a few seconds, he turned slowly to look at his beloved grandpa.

”I’m tired; going to rest!”

The old master knew it was time to retreat, so he stood up, supporting himself on the sofa arm, and left triumphantly.

”Then I’ll go back to my room!”

Seeing the old master leave, Qin Mu immediately wanted to go too, not wanting to be caught debating with him on the sofa.

Just as she got up, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her onto him by force.

Before Qin Mu could see him clearly, she already had one hand pressed against the sofa back beside him, and the other forcefully pressed against his shoulder.

In this position, it looked like she was giving Mr. Mu a hard time.

Mu Yichen seemed quite enjoying himself, leaning back on the sofa and staring at her with his mesmerizing eyes, one hand holding her wrist and the other wrapping around her slim waist.

The bracelet on Qin Mu’s hair somehow snapped, her long hair suddenly scattered, resembling a ghost, but Mu Yichen found it captivating, unconsciously tightening his arm around her waist, making Qin Mu sit on his lap, appearing very alluring.

”Going somewhere?”

His phoenix eyes half-closed but filled with laughter.

Hearing his deep inquiry, Qin Mu shivered inside but kept a composed look: ”Hmm!”

Her voice carried a hint of vulnerability.

Mu Yichen chuckled again, raised a hand to tuck her messy hair behind her ear, patience abounding, appearing somewhat tender-hearted: ”I’ve spent a bit too long in the Cold Palace!”

Qin Mu looked at him, with a slight disdain, knowing he would act this way.

”Do I seem like such an unreasonable person, yet Mr. Mu remains interested?”

Qin Mu kept her composure, smiled softly, and asked him.

”Of course, I am. A woman too understanding doesn’t suit my taste!”

Mu Yichen’s gaze grew increasingly profound. Qin Mu, in turn, stared directly at him, realizing she couldn’t break away, she settled herself on him: ”Grandpa said I should agree to three things for you. Go ahead, what do you want?”

She gave him a cold look, letting him understand she was displeased and wouldn’t give in.

Mu Yichen didn’t get angry. Instead, his hand was already under her blouse, causing Qin Mu to frown with irritation, casting a sharp, cold glance at her own abdomen.

”The first thing, naturally, is to satisfy this!”

Saying this, Mu Yichen took her hand and placed it near his pants, making Qin Mu irritated, only able to struggle, her other hand fiercely grabbing his hand back. Unable to break free, she gritted her teeth, digging into him, and soon enough his hand was bruised.

Mu Yichen lowered his eyes, seeing the skin break and blood seeping, he immediately wrapped her up and lay back on the sofa, pressing her down, breathing heavily: ”Once I state it, you must comply!”

His voice was low and soft, yet undeniably commanding, allowing no doubt or refusal.

”Alright! Then go ahead!”

Qin Mu suddenly released her grip, gasping heavily, resigning herself.

Mu Yichen was about to lower his head to kiss her, when she turned her face away, feeling trapped and resentful, she gritted her teeth and mumbled: ”I knew you would do this, aware I was on my cycle, you let me be, once it’s over, you cling to me again. Ultimately, it’s just about wanting to be intimate.”
