His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2127: Chapter 611: Stubborn Mouth, Soft Heart—Tucking Him In (Part 3)

A gentleman’s revenge does not miss a moment.

The next moment...

Master bedroom on the second floor, the door is tightly closed, silence inside.

But at the window, two freshly showered people stand opposite each other, staring, oh! No! It should be glaring at each other!

”You sleep on the sofa!”

Qin Mu raised her chin, coldly said to him first.

The room suddenly had some noise, although sharp, it warmed the inside quite a bit.

Mu Yichen wanted to laugh, she had suppressed for over half an hour, only to come up with such a basic method like letting him sleep on the sofa?

But that’s fine!

Mu Yichen had other plans in mind, so he agreed: ”Okay!”

Qin Mu saw his quick agreement, lifted her legs and walked towards the bed, naturally sleeping well once she got in.

Used to sleeping on one side, even if he was not on the bed, she occupied her half.

Qin Mu found him lying on the sofa without a blanket, thought he didn’t know there were warm blankets in the room, and reminded him: ”There are blankets in the cupboard.”

”Don’t need it!”

Mu Yichen responded softly to her, yet not saying another word.

Don’t need it?

Don’t need it? Then serve him right if he freezes!

Qin Mu turned over, still feeling vexed inside, but upon seeing his pillow, suddenly thought about him sleeping on the sofa like that...

Mu Yichen, while planning to rest briefly, closed his eyes, only for a pillow to land directly from above his head into his arms.

After catching it, he glanced at it, chuckled silently, placed the pillow behind his neck, then comfortably closed his eyes again, the night felt fresh yet with a special feeling.

Qin Mu didn’t expect sleeping alone was so uncomfortable; though they aren’t apart often, sometimes they do separate occasionally, every time she could endure, why is tonight alone unbearable?

Just because he is in the room?

Qin Mu woke up in the middle of the night, looking at the person sleeping on the sofa, unable to help but think, he sleeps so steadily, not afraid of freezing.

Again closed her eyes trying hard to sleep for a while, still couldn’t sleep soundly, so started tossing and turning.

The person on the sofa also moved slightly, Qin Mu watched blankly, her heart suddenly stopped, seemingly afraid to disturb him waking up, held her breath quietly watching him, only until he didn’t move for a long time did she faintly sigh.

”Cough, cough! Cough!”

Before long, the person on the sofa started coughing, Qin Mu’s heart panicked, did he catch a cold?

Oh dear, just let him get caught in the rain this afternoon, now making him sleep on the sofa, without even a blanket, if he really caught a cold and fever, it wouldn’t be surprising.

Seeing him still looking asleep, Qin Mu got up, held the blanket in her arms, and walked softly to his side.

There were no lights in the room; it was all dim, thankfully familiar.

Qin Mu silently sat by his leg, gently covering him with the few remaining warm blankets she had in her arms.

While about to leave, her hand on his arm suddenly got pressed by him, Qin Mu’s eyes paused, directly looking at him.

Mu Yichen slightly turned, lying there gazing at her, clearly, the room was so dark, yet the two could see the profound look in each other’s eyes.

”Were you not going to care for me?”

Mu Yichen softly said.

”But you’d freeze, wouldn’t Mother blame me?”

Qin Mu felt resentment, so spoke with some arrogance.

Mu Yichen however tightly held her hand: ”You can blame me, but you seriously won’t let me onto the bed? Without me by your side, you’ll have trouble sleeping all night, what then?”

”Who? Who has trouble sleeping all night?”

Qin Mu nervously said, voice slightly trembling.

”Tossed and turned most of the night, think I didn’t hear?”

Mu Yichen asked her, voice gentle yet revealing affection.

”Weren’t you asleep?”

Qin Mu asked him, eyes slightly avoiding.

”How could I sleep? Used to sleeping holding you, plus you know, without you those years, I was always insomnia-ridden.”

Mu Yichen sat up, still holding onto her hand.

Qin Mu sat there for a long time, without saying anything further.

Perhaps the deep night quieted her mind, she silently kept him company for a while, when it was almost enough, she went back to bed.

This time no more tossing and turning, quickly fell asleep tiredly.

——

Next day, sunny.

Mu Yichen went to work after breakfast, Qin Mu went to the hospital.

”You came, surely wanting to say something, yet hesitating, also thinking, if you have something but don’t tell me, could you tell someone else? Rely on that dear sister of yours to comfort you?”
