His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2125: Chapter 610: Mrs. Mu Makes Mr. Mu Get Soaked in the Rain (Second Update)

Qin Mu had heard his sweet talk too many times, so she just glanced at his WeChat messages and put them aside without a stir in her heart.

The afternoon went by quickly; Qin Mu wanted to go home after leaving the hotel, but she worried about being seen by the elders. They had just had a big fight last night, and acting like this today... After thinking it over, she turned her car around to the studio. Meanwhile, Mu Yichen was calling her one call after another, even threatening to come over if she didn’t respond.

Just thinking about the scene she saw in the hotel made Qin Mu feel nauseous. That woman dared to sit on her bed, and it was even more ridiculous that Mr. Mu, who always claimed to be a germaphobe, didn’t say a word when someone was on his bed.

She felt like spitting blood in frustration. The more Qin Mu thought about it, the more depressed she became.

”Just come if you can; finding me would be quite a skill!”

This area isn’t that big, but if she wants to hide from him, even within this studio, he wouldn’t be able to find her.

But they would eventually meet. When it was dark, Qin Mu took the car keys and went home. Mu Yichen’s car had just arrived at their studio. Seeing her car heading back, he followed behind without calling her again. Her bag, which she had thrown at him at noon, sat obediently in his passenger seat.

As they were nearing home, big raindrops started falling, hitting the car hood and the windows. Qin Mu looked and only then heard the sound, but soon the car was home.

Mu Yichen’s car followed closely behind her.

Qin Mu had an umbrella in her car. She got out without caring whether he had one, opened it, and walked inside on her own.

She intentionally parked in the garage, which was a bit far from the main building. Naturally, she wouldn’t get wet, but as for Mr. Mu...

Right!

He doesn’t have the habit of using umbrellas.

Qin Mu walked neither fast nor slow, and Mu Yichen could only follow her leisurely, knowing he had upset her. He deserved to let her vent.

Since she seemed intent on letting him get wet, Mu Yichen stopped, thinking the rain was a little too light. But just as he finished thinking, it turned into a torrential downpour, drenching him in seconds.

Hearing the deafening rain, Qin Mu hurried to the door, but when she turned her head, she saw the man standing in the rain staring at her with a resentful look. Strangely, in her panic, Qin Mu felt like laughing.

She thought, isn’t this what you deserve?

Qin Mu put her umbrella neatly into the stand and walked inside as if she hadn’t seen her husband getting soaked.

”Young Madam is back!”

The auntie greeted her, surprised not having heard the car due to the sudden heavy rain.

”Yes!”

”Ah! Isn’t that the Young Master?”

Qin Mu had just replied when someone from another room saw the person standing outside getting soaked and shouted in alarm.

Qin Mu turned her head again, seeing his soaked figure through the window.

”Quick, take an umbrella to the Young Master!”

The auntie said and ran to the door, but Mu Yichen rushed in first, frowning at the rain outside, and tossed his coat aside.

”Young Master, are you alright?”

The auntie asked worriedly, still holding the umbrella she hadn’t managed to hand over.

”I’m fine!”

Mu Yichen answered, looking at the woman standing at the stairs watching the scene. She seemed pleased with herself now.

”You should go take a hot shower and change your clothes. Be careful not to catch a cold in this rainy weather.”

The auntie reminded him worriedly, and Mu Yichen turned to head toward the staircase.

Qin Mu knew he would return to their room, so she went around to their daughter’s room, letting him stew alone; she couldn’t be bothered to engage with him.

Feng Fanghua was sitting by Huanhuan’s bed, supervising her at the study desk doing homework.

”You’re back? Is it raining outside?”

Feng Fanghua noticed her slightly wet shoulders and damp hair ends and asked.

”Yes! A torrential downpour!”

Qin Mu said, then walked forward.

”Don’t walk any closer with that chill on you. Go change and have a shower before coming back.”

Uh...

Feng Fanghua seemed disdainful but was actually concerned. Qin Mu understood her sharp tongue hid a soft heart. Yet going back now would mean seeing her dear husband undressing for a shower, wouldn’t it?

”Let me first check Huanhuan’s homework!”

Qin Mu said, bending slightly over the desk to see Huanhuan working on her Chinese homework. Her writing had improved recently; indeed, pressure brings motivation.
