His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2129: Chapter 612: My Husband Is Jealous

”Why didn’t I hear anything?”

Qin Mu glanced outside; it seemed like there was no one on the entire first floor, yet she hadn’t heard a sound.

”Of course you didn’t hear anything. You’ve been on the phone for half an hour, chatting away with Gongzhi Ping’an.”

Mu Yichen tossed her phone onto the couch, and with one hand resting on the armrest, he pinched her chin with the other, his teeth gritted. His deep, dark eyes locked onto hers, as if they were going to pierce through her.

”Um, did you hang up the phone?”

Qin Mu felt panic inside, yet her eyes sparkled with a kind of mischievous pleasure.

Mu Yichen glanced at the phone in the couch and then pretended he was about to slap her.

Qin Mu was so scared she immediately turned her face away, closing her eyes tightly, not daring to move.

Mu Yichen’s hand hovered above her head for a while, and then lightly patted her cheek.

Seeing her brave and sacrificial demeanor, he almost laughed. Finally, he slowly released her and sat down on the couch beside her.

Qin Mu shot him a glance, ”Couldn’t bear it, huh?”

Mu Yichen ignored her and, like an enigmatic emperor, observed the woman clutching his waist. She offered a slight smile, afraid he’d get angry, yet touched that he hadn’t really struck her.

”What were you talking about?”

He asked her casually, intending to forgive her.

Qin Mu hesitated to reply at once. Every time she answered quickly, it didn’t turn out well. She had to consider carefully whether to tell the truth; but...

”I really don’t know!”

Qin Mu’s voice was soft and gentle, and indeed, she genuinely didn’t know.

Mu Yichen frowned, his cold gaze fixed on her, ”Don’t know? You’ve been talking for over half an hour, and you say you don’t know? Was there so much to say that you don’t know where to start?”

He leaned back against the couch, looking disdainful, yet without pushing her away, and Qin Mu cheekily replied, ”We agreed not to fight about him anymore.”

”So you just freely talked on the phone with him for so long? Think carefully; every time I call you, what’s your attitude? And now, for another man, half an hour, huh?”

Mu Yichen’s words concluded, and he was again gritting his teeth.

Qin Mu thought to herself: Jealous again! Just half an hour, yet in your eyes, it felt like half a century.

Sigh!

The man in our house loves to get jealous!

Just as Qin Mu wanted to provoke him a bit more to the point where he couldn’t contain himself, suddenly the auntie came in from outside, standing in the corner of the room, ”Young Master, Young Madam, a florist’s truck is here, saying it’s flowers that Young Master ordered.”

Mu Yichen thought, I’ve truly got too much time on my hands, ordering flowers for her? She’s here chatting on the phone with another man, and yet I’m supposed to give flowers?

”Send them away, let them go!”

Mu Yichen thought for a moment, as Qin Mu watched him eagerly, waiting for him to explain, but Mu Yichen coldly suggested.

”Yes!”

The auntie didn’t quite understand, but given how the young couple at home would quarrel all day, she went to convey the message.

”Wait, wait! I want them, I want them!”

Qin Mu quickly halted her, wrapping her arm around his neck and shouting a few times at the auntie, then looked at Mu Yichen, ”Did you order those flowers or not? How can you just reject them if you ordered them? It’s a long way to find our home in the city, and they’ve finally arrived.”

Mu Yichen looked at her again indifferently, ”You want them?”

”If you’re giving them to me, of course I want them!”

”You want them, but I don’t want to give them anymore!”

The two exchanged banter, while the auntie in the distance was undecided, unsure whether they wanted the flowers or not.

”Come on! It’s rare for you to send me flowers; how can you just send them away? That would be such a waste!”

Qin Mu started to act a bit spoiled.

Mu Yichen stared at her intently, becoming more and more speechless, just wanting...

”Let them bring them in; let me see what kind of flowers they are, it’s been a while since I’ve received flowers!”

Qin Mu smiled mischievously.

Mu Yichen...

”How do you explain the phone call?”

Mu Yichen asked indifferently, still that one question.

”I swear, I forgot I was on the phone with him, just kept the same pose for a long time, thinking about you!”

Qin Mu pondered for a moment and resigned to confess truthfully.

Inside Mu Yichen’s heart, something went bang, as if something exploded—was it fireworks?

I was thinking about you?

Mu Yichen’s hand finally moved to embrace her slender waist.

”Young Master?”

In the distance, the auntie was still waiting for an answer.

”Let them bring them in!”

Mu Yichen glared at Qin Mu, a hint of rebuke in his eyes, but he didn’t actually blame her in his heart.

Just those four words, unsure if they were true or meant to placate him, yet he was completely defenseless.

Qin Mu tried to get up, but Mu Yichen gripped her waist. Qin Mu glanced at him, sighed inwardly, but didn’t resist him.

In shock!

Over ten flower shop workers came in one by one, each carrying flowers, placing them in the living room, all before Qin Mu, until the view was blocked.

Qin Mu watched, her heart racing, then looked down at Mu Yichen: ”Did you buy the whole flower shop’s flowers?”

”Yes!”

Mu Yichen pretended to be aloof.

Qin Mu stared at him in disbelief, wondering what he was up to.

Surprise for me?

Qin Mu’s heart was growing more excited, but she didn’t dare to ask further, seeing as his expression was still sullen, still angry.

Unable to hold back, Qin Mu gave him a loving kiss in front of everyone.

Mu Yichen’s eyes instantly fixed on her, Qin Mu smiled.

In those fiery black eyes, Qin Mu’s heart began to pound heavily again.

”Hey!”

Qin Mu glanced over, even though the flower shop workers were leaving, the aunt was walking in.

Mu Yichen didn’t care, quickly pinching her chin.

In the already not-so-spacious sofa, she didn’t know how to escape him, yet wanted to.

At that moment, Gongzhi Ping’an called, she answered absentmindedly, later realizing it was him, but her mind was on Yang Qin and Mu Yichen, not realizing half an hour had passed in a blink, Gongzhi Ping’an’s call still ongoing when Mu Yichen returned.

”Huanhuan and the others might come back soon!”

Qin Mu quietly reminded him.

”To the bedroom!”

”What? To the bedroom? The flowers, my flowers!”

”I’ll move them all to the bedroom for you, if you like, you can spread them on the bed.”

As Mu Yichen spoke, he hoisted her up, heading towards the stairs.

Last night Mu didn’t have any intimacy, this afternoon it was...

The master bedroom door on the second floor was kicked shut by Mu Yichen, a deafening bang.

”I’m not done with you about Yang Qin, don’t, hey, Mu Yichen you... ah!”

In the bedroom, Qin Mu shouted.

”Yang Qin? What’s important about Yang Qin?”

Mu Yichen coldly spoke to her.

”Want to resist, do you?”

Mu Yichen suddenly gave an evil smile, asking her.

Qin Mu was still struggling: ”Yes!”

He didn’t even mention Yang Qin, thinking that by buying the flower shop’s flowers, she’d happily forgive him?

But before dinner, she was happily spraying water on the flowers with a little bottle.

The boxes, bottles, cans—were all moved to the window, Feng Fanghua couldn’t help but watch closely, even taking pictures with her phone, googling the names of the flowers. She remembered some names for a while then forgot, but kept searching, even chatting with Mu Zihao: ”Look at your son, during our youth, were you ever this romantic?”

Mu Zihao just laughed dryly, thinking, indeed, he hadn’t been.

He was the son of the patriarch, if the patriarch was like that, how romantic could he be?

Yet, the men of the Mu Family were stronger with each generation, in regards to love, each was more serious than the last.

Mu Yichen sat nearby, pouring tea for the patriarch, listening to Feng Fanghua’s words, feeling quite proud inside.

Huanhuan and Chengcheng crouched nearby, picking up fallen petals from the ground. Mu Yichen looked at the people before the French windows, who could have thought, just a bit of flowers could make the house so lively.

After watering the flowers, Qin Mu propped her back up, struggling to stand straight. Feng Fanghua went to sit on the sofa, observing her seemingly unfit state: ”Qin Mu, are you that out of shape, that watering flowers leaves you shaky?”

Qin Mu thought, Mom, you’re truly unaware, it’s not the watering—it’s because...

”Patriarch, Gongzhi Family has arrived.”

The butler walked in from outside, breaking the brief harmony in the living room.

”Gongzhi Family?”

Feng Fanghua muttered, not noticing her son’s face had already turned cold.

”Oh! We talked over the phone this afternoon, I forgot, add two more pairs of chopsticks.”

The patriarch nodded, speaking while already standing up.

Mu Yichen looked up at Qin Mu standing by the window. Qin Mu received his gaze, lowering her eyes while her heart trembled a bit.
