His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2146: Chapter 620: Can’t Share the Blanket (Part 2)

Mu Yichen stood with his hands on his hips, almost ready to explode with anger, yet he had to hold it in.

”Qin Mu, I advise you not to go too far. I’ve been holding back for the past few days. What more do you want?”

Mu Yichen was furious.

Only then did Qin Mu slightly open her eyes, thinking how she too had been holding back these days.

”Then if we don’t hold back, what do we do?”

Qin Mu slightly lifted her upper body, her crystal-clear eyes looking at him, asking softly.

The quiet room seemed to have sounds not belonging to the two of them, as if the air urged them to start quarreling quickly.

But as the two looked into each other’s eyes, seeing themselves reflected in each other, in the end, they continued to endure.

Qin Mu choked up involuntarily, feeling that he had already lain down on the sofa, and was about to turn off the lights, when she turned around, seeing he had already sat next to her.

”You...”

”That kid can cover himself with a blanket, this is my final concession.”

Mu Yichen reminded her, then forced himself to lie down next to her.

Qin Mu...

”Well, at least bring the blanket to him!”

Mu Yichen immediately got up to fetch the blanket.

Qin Mu originally just wanted to move the little guy slightly; after all, he had gone behind her, and with him behind her, Qin Mu felt particularly warm on her waist, so she didn’t want to drive him away.

It’s just...

The little guy somehow got moved to Mu Yichen’s side, while Mu Yichen slept in her spot, and she slept in the middle.

When did he wrap his arm around her waist?

When did his breath blow on her neck?

When did he start making her heart itch from behind?

But how could she be so unprincipled?

A few days ago, she was so angry her stomach ached, but tonight she let him sleep like this?

He sure knows the timing well, Qin Mu thought for a moment, and then moved inward a little, though there was a blanket between them, she still gently embraced the little guy.

Mu Yichen knew she was refusing, feeling a bit displeased, but could only let her be.

The next morning, Qin Mu woke up early as always, but didn’t disturb Mu Yichen’s rest. The little guy was smiling at her in her arms, Qin Mu looked at him, feeling warm inside, not wanting to move.

But when Mu Yichen woke up, he found nobody in his bed, and at a glance saw Qin Mu already sleeping on his side, no, she was already awake, enchanting that kid.

”When did he start sleeping in the middle?”

Mu Yichen’s voice was a bit hoarse, not fully awake.

”I came over after waking, he nearly fell off!”

Qin Mu purposefully added the last sentence.

Mu Yichen was displeased but had to endure it; if he fussed too much, she’d get unhappy.

”Mom and Dad didn’t come back last night, Grandpa returned at eleven and hasn’t woken up, breakfast is already prepared downstairs, why don’t you get up and take the siblings to eat breakfast?”

Qin Mu spoke softly to him, her hand still grasped by the baby.

”Why should I go?”

”How about I go? You help me take care of him?”

Facing Mu Yichen’s retort, Qin Mu spoke to him with a good temper.

Mu Yichen glanced at the boy separating them, reluctantly got out of bed, with a bit of morning grumpiness, went to wash up.

Qin Mu, in a good mood, stayed in bed cuddling the little guy.

During the morning, Mu Yichen was too lazy to take the child to school, instructed the butler to send him, after breakfast went upstairs, opened the door and saw Qin Mu changing clothes, the little guy lying sideways, watching her happily with big eyes.

Mu Yichen stood at the door with hands on his hips, hatred for the little guy on the bed dripping from his eyes.

Upon hearing the door open, Qin Mu quickened her pace in getting dressed, turned her head after finishing to look at him: ”You’re not going to work?”

”What are you up to today?”

Mu Yichen said as he walked to sit at the bedside, pressing one hand on the bed, lightly poking the little guy’s shoulder with the other; finally, the little guy lay down, unable to see his wife’s beauty.

Qin Mu didn’t know what he was doing, thought he liked the baby too, so didn’t say more, went to wash up herself.

Only then did Mu Yichen’s brow furrow: ”You dare to look at my woman?”

Qin Mu was in the bathroom, faintly hearing a sound, thought he was talking to her, poked her head out: ”Are you talking to me?”

Mu Yichen looked up: ”No!”

Qin Mu stared at him for a moment, then continued to wash up.

But Mu Yichen no longer spoke a word, only using his eyes to outwit the little guy occupying his bed and boldly ogling his woman.

Unfortunately, the child from Qin Mingzhu’s family was still too young, could not understand he was angry, thought he was amusing, laughed even more joyfully.

Qin Mu washed her face inside, listening to the little guy laughing outside, couldn’t help but mutter: ”Obviously likes him, still pretends cold!”

However, when she came out, Mu Yichen and the child were no longer in the room, Qin Mu puzzled, stepping out seeing Mu Yichen handing the child to the aunt downstairs.

Qin Mu...

Mu Yichen glanced upstairs, seeing Qin Mu standing there, didn’t hurry, just gave her a slight smile.

Qin Mu sighed speechlessly, then descended the stairs.

Today her hair was tied up, revealing her full petite face, post-menstrual skin seemingly exceptionally good, more tender than the child’s face, wearing a sky-blue dress, her height seeming taller.

Mu Yichen watched for a while, the longer he looked, the more he felt he had abstained too long! Then looked at her irritably.

Qin Mu smiled at him: ”So, really not going to work today?”

Such a gentle greeting, after asking turned her head toward the living room, took the child from the aunt’s arms.

Mu Yichen walked forward begrudgingly, today he didn’t want to work at all, just wanted to stay home with her...

”Young Master, your phone is ringing!”

The aunt cleaning upstairs ran down with his phone, Mu Yichen frowned, could there be another issue at the company?

When Mu Yichen took the phone and saw it was Yang Qin’s number, became more irritable, glanced at the woman on the sofa caring for someone’s child, then turned to answer the call: ”What’s up?”

”Hmm! After returning, contact your direct superior for any issues!”

Mu Yichen, enduring his mood, agreed.

Qin Mu couldn’t help pricking up her ears, based on his tone and words, guessed it was Yang Qin, heard from Feng Fanghua Yang Qin was already processing transfer, about to leave Rongcheng?

The other day Qin Mu said Mu Yichen treated Yang Qin differently than other subordinates, Mu Yichen said she was overthinking...

Thinking of that day’s matter, Qin Mu lost interest, carrying the child told the aunt: ”I’ll take the baby to the city center!”

The aunt nodded, naturally wouldn’t say anything, promptly handed her coat over.

When Mu Yichen hung up, seeing her hurriedly walking away, like deliberately avoiding him, made him uncomfortable.

”I’m going to the company!”

Mu Yichen said likewise, left just as freely.

The aunt froze at the doorway, the young couple had just seemed like they’d both stay home to rest, suddenly both had gone?

When Qin Mu opened the car door, Mu Yichen walked over: ”I’ll drive you!”

”Go care for your soon-departing subordinate!”

Qin Mu gave him a cold glance, bent over to secure the little guy in the car seat.

But upon exiting and closing the door, turned again only to see him standing there.
